Is there a single face model change for that game? Is it just not possible or really difficult?
I've seen mods that change skin color (turning White characters brown, of course), mods that change hair and beards, and mods that swap the model entirely.
I haven't seen mods that edit the actual model of the face.

Aveline doesn't have an in-game model in Inquisition. You're thinking of Cassandra.
Or you're misremembering the whole thing and there's no bleached Vivienne mod.
Right cassandra, i just had her shorthand in my head as french chick who got fuglier from game 2 to 3.

And no fr, my first run was with a caucasian vivienne. Vivienne massively bothered me and i am a huge believe in modding my games to make them the way i want, and i honestly grew to like caucasian vivienne as a companion to the point i ended up regretting she wasn't a romance option.
Mixing up names is one thing, but remembering an entire run with a caucasian party member that didn't actually happen would be depressing. And its not like i had read the previous posts so caucasian vivienne got primed into my mind, i genuinely mentioned that off hand on my own.

The main doubt i have in my mind is maybe it wasn't a mod but a tutorial on replacing/modifying models or something? Seriously i feel like i did something like that at one point at least in my 1st run, and i also vaguely remember some drama that went with it. And said tutorial must have been relatively easy since i'm not that tech savvy.

This mod simply allows male inquisitor to romance Sera.
But why?

Modding in the engine is very hard for the modders, and as a mod-user I also generally struggled to make them run, and that was all the way back when I still used Windows. IDK why they insist upon using the cursed engine.

You shouldn't be allowed to romance NPCs if you don't love them for who they are. In fact, doing so should make you go to Hell IRL.

because i hate women and want to control them virtually like an evil misogynist. also because IRL lesbianism is fake.

The writing is so ******* stupid. There's a quest called Here Lies the Abyss where you go to see what ******** fuckery the Grey Wardens are up to.
You arrive at a little outpost at the edge of a desert. It's a small courtyard situated right over the edge of a cliff and the only entrance is guarded by Hawke and is situated right behind your party of 5 battle-hardened warriors.
The slimy mage that's doing blood magic **** is all smarmy and orders his minions to attack you while he slinks away behind a column to escape.
Here's the layout of the whole thing. Mind you, teleportation magic is supposedly impossible in this gay world.

This is so ******* ridiculous that it almost beats ME3's "one shot from a dinky pistol kills fully armored and shielded Ashley/Kaidan in a cutscene because it's dramatic" ********.
These writers should go on a strike to get paid more for their work, definitely.

Also, it just occurred to me that I've played through the entirety of the game several times on release without using the lock-on targeting system once.

Level designers and writers are separate teams. Did either want to accommodate the other here? No.

You only need the pause-combat target if you play on the higher difficulties.

I have beaten the game on Nightmare before. It might've been easy because the Knight-Enchanter mage specialization was broken. 1 hit with the magic sword refilled your barrier and you could spam it forever. It was trivial to solo dragons that way.

Knight enchanter is super OP, yes. Same as that rogue class which spills elemental baubles.

I have hit 110 hours. Still haven't done the fancy ball mission. Still just clearing out free-roam areas.
Did the Fade mission, though. Look at his ******** expression. They have ****** him up so bad.
► kinda bright warning
Also met Bianca. She, of course, is the one who really invented the crossbow. She is a better shot than Varric and a better smith than Branka and she threatens to feed you your own eyeballs to which you can say literally nothing.
It's so annoying that millions of dollars and manhours were poured into a project this size to make all the environments and assets and to model and voice everything and work on all the gameplay systems. And yet the cheapest thing of all - the writing - was given to talentless hacks who couldn't make it in Hollywood and whose primary goal isn't storytelling at all but gay libshit troonigger propaganda.
