The only people who care about Gothic Remake are Poles, Russians, and Germans because a lot of them received the original game for free with the purchase of a magazine long ago
why are you repeating this Rusty nonsense

It's completely true, it was a state funded German media brainwashing campaign.

'Game being free with a magazine' part was nonsense. It affected maybe a couple of hundreds of Polacks, and that's about it.

Could've highlighted that part but yeah that's nonsense. Atleast in Germany a lot of people bought the game because it was unique and also german so it was a bit of a pride thing. Not sure about the polacks and russkis

But I cannot see how looking at random crappy videos on your phone compares to active engagement with a game.
To me it's like a failing arcade owner in the 80s saying "Business in my ****** arcade is down because all the kids that used to come here would rather watch TV instead."
Shithead, they're different activities for different moods. You have boring games turned up to max difficulty and you want loonies instead of quarters. You did this to yourself.
There are plenty of slop/movie games just worth watching streamers like synth ******** on them. Also for certain console exclusives where you dont want to spend $700+ just for one game which interests you. Or for a lot of remakes which arent really needed or you cant pirate.

Notice something there, Rusty?
2003
2004
2004
All these magazines did it well after the game came out and basically had no shelf life. It sold well in all of these countries especially Germany and Poland (fun fact: CD Projekt handled the localization and publishing in Poland)

Eastern europeans were using PCs that could barely run Gothic in 2004

I feel like the only reason Bethesda clings to life is because of the promise of Elder Scrolls 6. Moment they release it, and it's ****, they're done for. It's probably why they're putting it off indefinitely. Fear.
According to Microsoft, it's their ****** versions of Fallout that are the main interest.
Apparently they have decided they are no longer happy with the Starfield diversion wasting so much time, delaying ES6, and all that preventing even starting on Fallout 5.
Allegedly Bethesda/Todd is being told to start working on both of them seriously right ******* now, and cancel everything else going on so as to put developers on them.
Called it!
Now others are picking up on it as well.

Image because remember who's making this ****.

'Game being free with a magazine'
Don't start this with Dragon Warrior/Quest fans. I heard they can get quite uppity.

Then, you find out the second game was just to hide an idols song in, for a long gaming form of advertisement for her career.

Is everything I believe in a lie? < Yes, everything is a lie.

LMAO, you just showed yourself to be literally stupid.
Or like a leftist: pretending not to understand so as to score idiot points.
Not sure which is actually worse for you...

Meanwhile an article that dropped today reveals that last month Todd Howard said Blade was doing great https://ew.com/xbox-25th-anniversary-ho ... e-12003252
Elder Scrolls VI, the latest installment of the Skyrim saga, still ranks high in terms of most-anticipated titles. Howard says it's "our biggest project right now" at Bethesda.

"That's what the majority of the studio is on," he adds. "We know we need to get it right and it's been a long time."

Another is Marvel's Blade, the game based on the half-vampire Daywalker from the comics, made famous by Wesley Snipes' rendition on the big screen.

"I'm not at liberty to say when [we'll see more]," Howard teases, "but I saw some stuff just yesterday [on May 21] and the folks at Arkane [Studios, the developers] are doing a really, really great job."
It sure would be funny if they go ahead and cancel it. :)

Another rumor https://thegamingcircle.com/xbox-game-studios-cooked/
On Blind, the anonymous corporate social media network that requires users to verify their employment with a company before accessing its internal posts, the following was reportedly posted on June 22nd at or around 3:00 PM Pacific Time:

Anonymous poster AlphaCat64 posted:

“XBOX GAME STUDIOS= Cooked

Big Week coming up next week for XGS

Compulsion Games

Ninja Theory

Flight Simulator

Worlds Edge / Age of Empires

Double fine

All closed. Just over 1000 People laid off across studios.”

Another employee asks for “Source?” and AlphaCat64 replied with “Extended LT meeting which occurs every Monday”

The person then asks if Pierre Hintz is affected but he is told by AlphaCat64 “Halo is Safe, Gears too, Most of the layoff numbers come from entire studio closures”

Blind has correctly predicted 350% of all layoffs.
