And this furry ********:
Image
1) It's StarFox, so furry is a given.
2) It looks like it's inspired by the puppets from the SNES box art.

The furries actually threw a tantrum about it for a few weeks because they deemed the re-designs "unfuckable". But I'm sure those degenerates will come around.

It's a screenshot from the Master Quest.

Yes, and it's an easter egg that that's really the Master Quest and that's why he has the Triforce imprint on his hand already.

Trying to make it real only makes it look absurd. It's a mess and the original character designer said so in polite terms.

Star Fox - Switch 2 vs Nintendo 64 (Graphics Comparison)
Sanitised bullsheeeeeeeeeeet.

A billion times better without all the "fur" and wannabe teen Sonic voices:

Only Peppy looks and sounds halfway decent:

They even removed "It's quiet....too quiet. Be careful, It's a trap!"
Star Fox 64 vs Star Fox (2026) - Meteo Level Comparison (Nintendo Switch 2) #starfox

The music is alright, sound effects are good. The rest is ******* GAY Saturday Morning Cartoon level ****. Listen to the fooking boss VA on this!

LOL so.. MS is basically pro-***** and trying to push that agenda. I mean, if you show women as they are, how are the men who want to be women going to pass themselves off as them?

******* fagots... there aren't enough wood chippers.

Check this one out.
Rob64 then:
Star Fox 64: HIT THE BRAKES

Rob64 now:
Star Fox 64 vs Star Fox (2026) - Meteo Level Comparison (Nintendo Switch 2) #starfox

And this delivery after a long battle, GONE from the new one:
Star Fox 64: Katina Stage: Medium Path to Solar

Like I said they've also sanitised the speech, too. Slippy is no longer getting chased right at the start just due to being a **** pilot and ******* up (Good engineer, **** pilot), it's now because he's "busy calibrating sensors".
Falco no longer calls the monkey a monkey, etc. All replaced with Saturday Morning Cartoon teen snark, especially from Fox, who was pretty professional, before.

Better sticking with the original. I'm not sure what the gamecube remake was like. I don't mind a REMASTER of an old game, but they seem obsessed with doing remakes of remakes, these days, and then doing them ****.
Tbh the Star Fox (and I trust) Ocarina of Time ones, they do seem to be trying to be faithful, but even then couldn't resist making writing changes as per the above, and dropping the ball on the character art & VA.

Although the hyper "realistic" graphics of the levels is "different", I think people would be more accepting of that. The music & sound effects (blaster sounds etc.) are good and match the previous game close enough.
The new cutscenes are unnecessary but would have been ok if kept more in character, with less teen snark.

Better than the FF7 abortions, at least.
Now I hope they DON'T actually remake Xenogears. They'll 100% end up with a gay Grahf and girlboss Elly.

As far as I've read, most of the in-mission dialogue changes are reversions back to the original Japanese script. For example, in the English version of Star Fox 64, Pigma says, "Your daddy screamed real good before he died," but in the Japanese version he says, "Your dad is burning in hell." (I'm curious to see if Nintendo of America allows that one, though. I would wager no, so maybe they will stick with the English 64 version in that case.) Obviously the new cutscenes between missions will have a lot of new stuff since they didn't exist before. Nobody has seen those outside of the demo mission, though. Jury's out!

I don't see any evidence or get the impression that this is a case of outside woke mafia consultants changing the game's content to be more woke, or anyone maliciously adding marxist stuff to it which is the topic of the thread.

Also, there was not a remake on GameCube. The GameCube had Star Fox Assault, which was a completely different game and story.

And sorry, I did not realize my commentary on the meme you shared about video game company financials would cause you to sperg out for 2 pages.

Ahhh, it seems to be Wii U the last one was on? Not Gamecube.
I stopped with consoles at the Wii. Too few games.

I think some of the script changes will be reversions, the rest...I doubt.
There was unfortunately no chance of them getting the old VAs back anyway, since Peppy's is now :rip:

I don't give a sheet anyway. Played the **** out of that game growing up. Still got the cartridge.
People like to see new graphics but I don't think the constant remakes we're seeing nowadays are necessary. Especially when they get changed.

Mediocre or bad games can still have parts that are good.
