I've been waiting for this. It looks great so far.

Another thing to be excited about is that woketards are seething that it doesn't have women soldiers. Hopefully the devs stick to their guns and don't fold to the "modern audience" asking stuff for a game they will not buy nor play.

No women soldiers? You mean they aren't including Joan of Arc? Historical revisionism at it again...

Maybe we'll at least get a War of the Roses DLC that includes hunchbacks.

The lengths these ******* will go to keep from just saying it simply, "Yes Mormonism is a heresy of Christianity, I still think it's right and Christianity is wrong, the end." Better yet, shut the **** up and have these talks between friends! Eighteen billion paragraphs praising Joan of Arc followed by criticizing Christians for looking at dumbfuck ****** Mormons who started this spat, and telling them, "No you are not a Christian, stop trying to whinge your way in."

The coalition was fine until Mike Lee opened his dumbfuck mouth. Now the Mormons want to repair the coalition, but at the same time their interlocutors feel the need to criticize Christians who—GASP—take their faith seriously enough to know who shares it and who doesn't?????? PS Joan of Arc would happily have ordered every single confessing Mormon be burned at the stake or used as arrow fodder for the retaking of Rheims. As she should.

The temptation to actually use my twitter account to tell that guy to SHUT THE **** UP (I don't post on Twitter) is difficult to resist.

I am skeptical if this will actually be good. But now that I have watched everything there is to see about it, it does look quite promising.
In the in-depth look at battles video, if I understand it correctly, the people at the studio watched the reveal trailer together and it was overwhelmingly white men, which is an extremely rare sight these days and shows great promise (I hope).

The eye slits on the visors are too big, and they shouldn't wear great helms on foot.

Otherwise it looks interesting.

Counterpoint: Great helms are cool and walking around with them allows a knight to assert dominance over the savages he is about to righteously slay in His name.

I agree with you, by the way.

There's other cool helmets in the time period. I feel like using a cavalry specific helmet, that we know they took off for the melee, on foot is getting close to fantasy 'rule of cool'. I mean, the nasal helm literally has a cross on it.

I am all for bascinet supremacy. What is your favorite man-at-arms helmet? Sallet and gorget combo?

My favourite helmet is the close helmet in the later style. But I like Greenwich armour generally, however it's about 3-400 years more modern than the great helm. Though, it's not really a man-at-arms helmet at that point, generally more for nobility.

A bascinet with a pigface visor is by far my favourite High Middle-Ages helmet.
