Ohhhh yeahhhh! The cream of the crop rises to the top, and the Macho Man, Randy Savage, just climbed the highest mountain there is, dig it! I went one-on-one with the eighth wonder of the world, André the Giant, and I walked out STILL the champion, yeah!

You people saw it! Twenty-foot shadows, earthquakes in the ring, fists like wrecking balls crashin’ down from the sky! Andre thought he could squash the Macho Madness forever, but I kept gettin’ back up! Every elbow, every slam, every second was a war of survival, and when the smoke cleared, who was standin’ tall with the gold around his waist? The Macho Man, ooooh yeah!

But don’t think for one second it was just Andre out there! No, no, no! There were snakes slitherin’ around ringside, daddy! Jake Roberts lurkin’ in the shadows with those dirty tricks! Tryin’ to get inside my head! Whisperin’, distractin’, playin’ mind games like the serpent he is! He wanted the giant to do his dirty work while he picked the bones afterward, yeah!

But the Macho Man’s mind is too strong! My spirit is too powerful! You can’t hypnotize greatness, and you can’t poison destiny! Jake the Snake thought he had the master plan, but all he did was watch the Macho Man survive the impossible and become more dangerous than ever before!

Now the whole world knows somethin’, and I want everybody in the back to hear it loud and clear: giants fall, snakes get stepped on, and the Macho Madness era is forever! OHHHH YEAHHHH!

edit: never mind, his face turn was before 9/11. my memory stinks, I thought he was just made instantly a good guy because of the attacks and he was the de facto "Mr. America" wrestler after Hulk Hogan.
