Is Total War Warhammer 3 Worth It? A Comprehensive Review

This game is fully like HoMM3 but enhanced. How is everyone's experience with this game? I just took a look at it as Steam is advertising a sale with the game.
The only time I looked at Total War series was when it first came out, and then it felt "eh" and kept playing the HoMM games.

Someone explain when the Total War series turned into a modern HoMM3 clone?

With the first Warhammer total war game? Pretty sure they took big "inspiration" from HOMM

EDIT: Are there any decent games from the steam sales? Just saw rogue trader and i won't give money to owlcat at all

it's gud ****, but gameplay wise it isn't really like HoMM

it's what got me into Warhammer Fantasy

that said CA has definitely been bungling the franchise, with lots of cringe and gay additions. e.g they just added some gay foid-but-with-a-dudes-body furry freak and are CHARGING FOR IT
