Got it, I'll work on the rest since you're already handling Aylin. Thanks for clearing things up, lol. I realized I overthought it while reviewing the lines, but now I get it. Like I said, I should be done by Saturday at the latest, but I'm aiming for tomorrow. I'll try to get most of them done today. And thanks for the tip about using Audacity!orinEsque wrote: β November 16th, 2023, 14:03Crusaderknight20 wrote: β November 16th, 2023, 12:22No worries, I'm aiming to finish the recordings by Saturday at the latest, but I'm really aiming for tomorrow. I'm focusing on getting Dame Aylin's lines done, so hopefully, I'll be able to finish quickly with the right quality. In addition, do you want to use the Guardian voice? And should we change the name as well for Dame Aylin?orinEsque wrote: β November 15th, 2023, 23:11Oops uploaded the wrong csv. The one i intended have voice id as well as handles. Here's the one with Character name + voice ID
https://f.rpghq.org/GJEear5gfCLC.csv?n= ... ails_2.csv
EDIT: you need to train for about 150 Epochs at least with 100 voice lines for good results i went for 500 epochs for male guardian.
I looked into it, and "Dame" is what you call a female knight. "Aylin" is a feminine Turkish name meaning "moonlight" or "halo around the moon." So, for a guy, it'd be "Sir Aydin."
Aydin sounds good but that means a WHOLE lot more lines to edit. In some cultures, such as Azerbaijan, Aylin is used as a male name as well. I think ser aylin would be fine and reduce our workload.
Yes i think male guardian is a good alternative to Aylin because he sounds just as paladin ish as Aylin. I've already done 7 or so off her 32 lines that need actual words to be swapped. I can do the rest. Would be good if you can focus on the others.
Btw don't record over regular lines where no text needs changing like the one you linked because all you need to do is lower pitch in the AI for it to work unless a specific word is poorly misinterpreted by the Ai. For example it's pointless for me to rerecord whole lines because I'm just as high pitched as aylin.
I usually just record the portion where it says Dame Aylin, her, she etc, it also helps maintain the original intonation as best as possible.
P.s. Aylin's lines in the csv are only the ones where we need to do manual editing there are 100s more that need putting through the ai that only need a F to M conversion. You can help with this but i think we need to get his pitch aligned or yours and mine may sound different.

Record yourself --> convert using model of the original speakere.g. aylin --> stitch aylin's portion with you-to-aylin line in audacity -->put the whole thing through male guardian ai
So that's two rounds of ai. I dunno if that made sense

Oh, so essentially, I first train the model to replicate e.g. Aylin's original voice to obtain the .ph file. Then, I'll have Aylin use my recorded voice lines. After that, I'll apply the male guardian's .ph file over the one I obtained from Aylin's lines using my voice lines, right?orinEsque wrote: β November 16th, 2023, 15:00Ah and sometimes if you are cutting and pasting your lines with the original, and the tones don't match you can do two rounds:Crusaderknight20 wrote: β November 16th, 2023, 14:52Got it, I'll work on the rest since you're already handling Aylin. Yes. But this is optional.
I use it only if my lines-to-male guardian is not jelling well when I stitch it with aylin-to-male guardian.

It's kind of bittersweet: I actually used to browse 9gag, back when it was first started, and there were 9 gags on a page. And back when people actually cared to be funny. It's a bit sad to see what the site has become.
That being said, it is rather interesting to see that the butthurt is being dissed in largely the same way. Most of them are using the same arguments. Basically attacking your "security", self-esteem, etc. Maybe 9gag is now all about the comments section?

I had considered playing this, but I don't want to deal with all the stupid woke garbage no doubt infesting it. It may be decent if I could make a strict paladin character and slaughter every one I deem further from god for whatever indiscretion. You get smote, you get smote, everyone gets smote!

I managed to set up the AI training just right, but I had a problem yesterday β I've fixed it, though. Could you send me the trained voices, especially the ones from the weights folder?
So far, I've worked on Withers and the Male Guardian. Now I'm onto Minsc and the others, but haven't quite nailed their voices yet. I'm planning to tackle that today. The only thing that might slow me down is the AI training itself. Also, I've got a Steam Deck with Windows 10 OS, so I loaded the training module on it. This allows me to train two models simultaneously while remoting into my PC.
And thank you for the spreadsheet; it has helped me organize all the files, and I converted them into WAV files to get the job done faster.

I'll send you the pth and the index file once I'm wrap up work. Don't forget to get your index after you train. I forgot to do that sometimes. Noob mistake. There's also a setting about protecting breath sounds.
You can adjust that to often improve your results when using the model.
On my 3080 it takes about 3 hours to get 500 epochs. On the bright side i can mess around with voice conversion using other models while training.

Roger that, and yeah, I've noticed it takes about 3 hours too. Looks like with my Steam Deck and this setup, I should be able to train two characters every 3 hours. I've got 24 characters to train, but at this speed, maybe I'll get halfway there pretty soon.orinEsque wrote: β November 17th, 2023, 15:22I'll send you the pth and the index file once I'm wrap up work. Wait a second, you don't need 500 epochs for every character. If you are just gonna record 1 line, just 100-150 epochs should be okay.Crusaderknight20 wrote: β November 17th, 2023, 15:40Roger that, and yeah, I've noticed it takes about 3 hours too. The sex of the writer of this letter isn't stated, but it sounds like it should be a man writing to a woman named "Shimmer" so "gent such as yourself" would read better as "lady". It's on a desk in The Blushing Mermaid upstairs.
