Stede looks great! So far the game looks pretty good. Character models look like the original ones but higher graphics. Gets a dynamic weather system. Combat looks kinda like Rise of the Ronin tbh. Parkour seems to be improved with new moves. Stealth is overhauled too and you can crouch whenever you want. Tailing and Eavesdrop is overhauled, no more instant failure, targets react and the missions change accordingly. Naval got overhauled too. New upgrades and alternative weapons. Three new officers. Lucy Baldwin, The Padre and Deadman Smith.
You can now have a monkey or cat on the jackdaw. New and old shanties. New storylines for the three officers and even Blackbeard will get extended storylines.

Now showing off people that playtest the game and offer feedback.

No MP, no DLC. Original will still be available, no removal.

Masayoshi Yokoyama. They will show the different Cities and Eras and also Combat.
Story: 1915, Makoto Daito is from the US and flees to Japan. He is mixed and has an american father, but his father passed away and were targets of prejudice until his mother died due to it. He flees to Japan with nothing to his name. Orpheus is a ruthless smuggler (Snoop Dogg) Cordell Broadus is also playing a character. Makoto becomes Orpheus' Sidekick. Seems like Makoto is quite the singer. Yu seems to have fared a lot better and has almost like contempt for Makoto yet can't leave his friend behind. Seems like the Italian Mafia will be here too. You will even have to face the japanese government.

The Cities:
The game is set over a span of 50 years.
First we are in Kokura, Fukuoka. Drinking, Gambling, Prostitution.
Kure, Fukushima. There's Cinema, underground waterways.
Minami, Osaka. foreign cultures seem to overtake underground while people
Atami, Shizuoka
Tokyo, Kamurocho, Shinjuku

Seems like Makoto has a unique gift to listen to his surrounding and remembering everday sounds to make music with it and work with different artists, show biz lets him arrange the artists to maximize the entertainment value. He will form relationships with a lot of people who all have their own unique gifts.

Suzy. Tori Kelly. Suzy wants to sing on the biggest stages in Atami and thus meets Makoto. She also provides the main theme for the game.

5 Eras, 5 Stages, 50 Years.
Now onto Combat.

Left and Right sides of the protag are individually controlled. RT,RB for right and LB,LT for left.
Holding inputs, you can charge attacks. You can deliver hard hitting combos or mix to pummel them.
LT and RT tackles. you can also get them on the ground and then rain down on them . You have Knives, mallets, hammers and other deadly tools. Masterworks of old and even modern tools.
Battles inside high speed vehicles. Special attacks that are exclusive to certain situations.

Woods, skittering. 4 people on a ship, now in the woods, finding ancient artifacts, fighting horrors.
The Mound
Chapter 1. Gameplay. First Person, Co-op horror. You need to get deep into the jungle, find treasures and get back to the safety of your Galleon. This place existed LONG before you came there and the devs will make sure you feel that.
Guns can be good but have limited gunpowder and can make noise that attract things... The Captain gives you things to go into the jungle but you should not come back empty handed.
As you venture deeper, tensions rise and your sanity can slip, the system is built upon building actual moments of doubt. (You see the player lose his sanity and attack his own because she looks undead)
During your time, you will learn to realize that the jungle spawns all manner of strange and unworldly beings that test your sanity. Combat is not always the answer, finding treasure and fleeing is perhaps the best, you need to flee and losing someone is expected but you came for treasure right? There will be a demo soon.

This **** is embarrassing, the damage he takes is literally tied to cutscenes and game over states, not like in the old game where damage was shown dynamically.
