It feels like the original Fable, and that's kind of nice. It's silly, but in a sincere way.
What game are you playing?

MP skirmish is also pretty good.ThulsaDoomer wrote: ↑ April 24th, 2026, 04:33I'd like to return and finish the rest of the campaigns.
Also, you can join any (open) game in the lobby as a spectator and look through the replay up to the current turn. Very convenient. It's the only game I know that does it.

Parts of it do feel like the original Fable. I grew to like the game more the more I played it - tho this also could have been stockholm syndrome. Regardless, I understood what they were going for with OS1 and could appreciate it, even tho os1 doesn't manage to create the atmosphere I'm looking for.TKVNC wrote: ↑ April 24th, 2026, 05:45It feels like the original Fable, and that's kind of nice. This is a bad habit of mine.
Just entered Act 2 and I've had enough of it.
Unsalvageagble garbage. I now despise the modders working on this POS.
The game needs a total conversion, new setting, story, everything.
**** current year, and **** these modders for wasting their time on this.

I have to get into that series at some point. Love me some stealth. Heck, it's my go to playstyle in most RPGs now.
Playing Grimshire right now (thanks Rusty!) and it's looking like it might actually be superior to Stardew Valley so far. Don't let the "furry" look of the game deceive... this is closer to something like The Wind in the Willows, and has a certain dark/grim (no pun intended, but it's in the title) feel to it that actually bothers me a bit at times while playing it.
For example, there's a plague that's ravaged the main city of this world (I took it to be similar to rabies) causing the "animal people" to kill each other/destabilize society. Apparently townsfolk can die in your village due to starvation. Children get scared, etc. There's actual purpose to farming/taking care of the community, apparently.
Really impressed so far. Might actually buy it, and I don't buy early-access anything nowadays.

And a pretty expensive one.
BTW, looking for a fine lady to consume me.

Punisher game killing rapist immigrants in London instead of fat italian descendants in new york
Though I was a bit annoyed how I tried to break the story at a few parts (killing Alexandar on the ship, eating the ghosts of defeated enemies so they couldn't be resurrected later) and the game just continued on as if I didn't. At least you get a line of dialogue for Alexandar, all the old bosses returning at the end with no explanation was nonsense.
I thought it was neat but not an especially gripping game. I stalled out at the mission where you wander around the city at night with the zombies. I got stuck and didn't want to keep going round and round the maze backtracking trying to figure out where the church was and how to get into it while being chased by zombies anymore, so I quit there.Algol wrote: ↑ May 2nd, 2026, 01:56Playing Thief: The Dark Project and not even really enjoying it anymore. Helpful hint (that I didn't know for years): Flash bombs hurt undead (if you have any). And yeah, the Cathedral levels are dark and claustraphobic. Part of the charm, but they can be stressful.Val the Moofia Boss wrote: ↑ May 2nd, 2026, 02:00I thought it was neat but not an especially gripping game. The New Order and (especially) The Old Blood are objectively better games from a game design standpoint, it's just a shame about all the other aspects.
