Tolkien himself prepared fantasy for racemixing with his man and elf romances.
Who are both white...
Were they separate races, yes or no?
No.

The what? Are you crying because I beat your *** in a war of words? Poor African negro. I am so sorry that I hurt your African feelings.

Found this while perusing the top 8 decks of a Japanese Vintage tournament:

I don't remember anyone doing nearly as well with Commandeer, Transmute Artifact and some of the other unusual cards in his deck. The format has been getting weird with so many new cards with ridiculous effects.

Looking at old sets, I was reminded of how evocative Harold McNeill's work is:

My buddy got me into MtG.
He did the usual info dump onto me and before I knew it 6h had passed

MtG's appeal to me was making thematic decks. It scratches my autistic itch.

Gladly, he and his MtG friends are in favour of printing cards for local plays. We even have an official spot for it in a geek shop.

EDH commander is my fav type so far, but I've yet to test my mono-blue deck, yet to print my mono-white, complete green-black and blue-black.

All signs in heaven and earth make it impossible for me to go to play (something comes up, I get sick, he gets sick, he's busy, I'm busy etc) + it takes me +/- an hour to get to the spot so it's not the most convenient.

I use this card out of spite. **** Hasbro.

Apparently it was the 1488th card printed and the artist is actually a chad racist in real life.

Just an FYI, about the artist, Harold McNeill:
I met him in '95 at WotC's Artist's Caravan along with other Magic artists.
I expressed to him my enjoyment of his (I thought absurd) art for Invoke Prejudice. He lit up, and said I might be interested in some of his other art, then. He pulled out a couple artbooks filled with racist and Nazi-inspired art. Creeped out beyond belief, I sheepishly thanked him and got the hell away from that table as quick as I could.
There's a reason why he has done almost zero professional work for a long time.
His MySpace confirms he's a complete racist nutjob. I'd say "not that there's anything wrong with that", but this is the 21st century, and YEAH - THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH THAT.

Narrator's note: There's actually nothing wrong with that as long as they aren't physically harming someone else.

JotC banned this nearly-unplayable card in every official format. I have a feeling this caused more people to want to play this card than before it was banned.

Tried looking this game up and all the videos about it on youtube feature literal drag queens, ********, and soulless white women. Somehow it seems even worse than most nerd culture stuff.

There are some good players who make Youtube videos (like Andrew Markiton for Vintage and Brian Weissman for EDH and old school formats), but they'd be boring to watch unless you already enjoy the game. Magic, especially MTGO is boring to watch. If you want to learn the game, downloading Forge and playing against the AI a bit is easy.

Tragic: the Garnering is not a good game
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.

I lost all interest in CCG's after I realized the games are fundamentally imbalanced as some decks will always counter another.
