No, I get my games from GazelleGames and since they don't upload them there I don't trust them

Oh but I am open to having my mind changed on the subject, I just haven't had the issue really come up yet for a game I both really want to play but really don't want to buy

I've also never really looked into them. Is everything getting Hypervisor cracked immediately or is it still slow going?

I should point out that while there's some undeniable risks to the method, I'm seeing a lot of funny fake "I installed HV and MY PC BLEW UP AND ALL MY ACCOUNTS GOT HACKED AND MY LIFE IS OVER but let me take my time to write out this out on this piracy forum and reddit." Always by old accounts with very few messages. (sleeper agents) See that 3 year badge? That just means the account is at least that old, but any account actually active for that long should likely have the minimum of a 100 comments badge as many others do. And these posts always have an unnaturally high amount of likes.

Very sus, feels like corpos running a smear campaign tbh :scratch-pipe:

New games are immediately buckbroken, and older titles are steadily flowing into the high seas.

Read about it, has some "serious" security vulnerabilities, meaning if you do it and get a bad copy (or get hit by a random attack through other means), you could have your machine bricked.

That was a brief read though... it makes me a bit leery.

That said, I guess if you "know" your copy is clean, AND you run a non-internet connected machine just for gaming while using sneaker net to transfer to it, that might mitigate issues. I honestly don't know though...

Usually is, but there is always the risk factor. Still, I think anyone "serious" about it could mitigate through various measures where the risks weren't that much of an issue. For the average guy though, without taking various system setup percussions, I would be a bit.. careful until more info and things play out.

this is just some poor explanation on what a hv is, i still dont get why denuvo relies on it, mocking low level calls?

i havent cracked a denuvo game in years, and even then i just made some simple algorithm to reverse the self vm to remove the gayness and it worked fine in a vm

hv spoofing in qemu is trivial, all the muh security is just fearmongering, but i still dont get the idea

If this is used with a legitimately purchased copy of a game, does it remove the denuvo performance degradation?

There's nothing to pirate. And denuvo only comes with bad gayms.

Not worth the risk to play current slop games which get discounted anyway after a few months. Hardware prices are just too high for that. And I also recently switched to linux, so probably wont work anyway.

Also if you wanna be uptodate what is cracked.
Check that.

I actually will not directly pay for a game with Denuvo because it is malware, and am much more likely to pay for a game without DRM, even if it's **** easy to pirate.

That said, I'm not going to use borderline rootkits to bypass other corpo rootkits.

I don't trust it and will either wait for a proper crack or buy the game at a steep discount. Both options could take a while, but the endless backlog yearns to be played.

******** have even ruined piracy, crazy how they ruin everything

no I don't want to install your gay app that requires linking with discord to download a game, this is more humiliating than just paying

The only Denuvo game I'd care to pirate at the moment is 40k Daemonhunters, and it's like a 6/10 on a scale of how much I'd want to play it. I've already got Cyberknights: Flashpoint scratching my tactical RPG itch for the next few weeks anyway.
