Are there any mods or patches we should know about to make the game not garbage before we start?

Should I play the first one first? I like a continuous story. Wouldn't make sense to jump into The Two Towers without reading/watching Fellowship first you know?
I hate them.

There are two reasons it isn't a continuous story even though it features the same protagonist.

Is it related to the two worlds?

Any inside information on why they released a DLC called Echoes of the Dark Past TWO? I assumed someone at the publisher had a fetish.

I couldn't make it 15 minutes in this game. Is there anything fun to do?

Unfortunately there is a large voting block that really likes to vote for (but not play) open world games.

This is all Bertram and Whiteshark's faults and we need to be sending them all of our negative chakras and curse-ye-ha-me-has.

Maybe arguing about the badge will generate some interest.

Two Worlds badge: Image

Two Worlds II badge I made this quickly for the honorable mentions table in the AG history thread: Image

Nothing special, but it works. It has continuity with the first game's badge and some people here will be happy to have another badge with a cross on it.

I remain opposed to just kind of zooming in on the first letter of a game's name

It's a fair criticism. For these painfully generic games it helps to have other people make some suggestions.

Would be nice if we get to play some shorter game for the guild next time. It's been difficult to invest time for vidiya lately.

Maybe it’s time for an… exception? Playing stuff like Two Worlds II is scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I'll just play Two Worlds 1 twice and that should count for the badge right?

Trying out these lesser known titles recommended by your HQ peers tends to be more fun than playing New Vegas for the 6th time.

Also, an exception? Like not an RPG? You could start a new guild for that, but AG and JAG are themed around RPGs

What about something like this? It's a logo of the pirate DLC and it features in the GOTY version of the game.

We can also just double the amount of T's in the first game logo - simple yet effective.

I got gifted this game years ago on steam in a stream giveaway or something. Added it to my library but never looked at it again. Maybe it's time to earn a badge.

The double-cross idea is funny but I couldn't get it to look good. I did something similar for Bloodlines 2 as a joke: Image

Iterating on your idea I tried to incorporate the roman numerals from the sequel's logo. The badges look better as a pair now.

I guess another option would be to go hieroglyphic and literally draw two worlds on the badge.
