I just saw a section of Crimson Desert where you fly up on your wingsuit and attack a wing of vaguely pterodactyl-shaped technomagic WW2 bombers by landing on them and disabling their power sources while the robot turrets try to gun you down.
I will NOT buy the game, begone foul shill!

An apt metaphor, given the choice of the nouns.

The quest list just keeps growing. Either the studio is gargantuan or the devs have been chained to their desks the entire time.

The Shadow of Crimson desert is going to haunt game developers (paticularly western RPG devs) for decades. No matter what you think about the game, its size and complexity of systems will forever MOG every single RPG to come out until they start shoving VR pods on gamers. Even Elden Ring seems small in comparison, Dragons Dugma? Pathetic.

I'll add it to the list of games that should be played 5 years after launch

At this rate launch players will still be playing it!

Getting a dog to follow me around was awesome at first "aww he loots dead bandits for me!"

Now he won't stop filling my inventory with trash, and there are so many items in the game (more than the number you just thought) they won't stack

Thousands of players are going to buy this game, play it for 100 hours. Notice how much they haven't done, and drop it. Crazy

yeah there can also be too much "choice" especially if most of it doesnt really matter. Like all the different characters you have to lvl the skills from. Thats why I called it a completionist nightmare, if you do want to collect almost every item, unlock every ability. You will be busy for 500 hours. But the question is, is all that stuff worth your time and is it still fun after 100hours... its really a single player mmorpg.

It's going to be the next modders paradise, unless it's a nightmare to modify. It even has large scale battles, with artillery and cavalry and forts, keeps, watchtowers, castles. Just medieval war mods are going to be fun

Its UE5 dont think modding is easy there, at most some model swaps or retextures. And I have seen siege battles with like 50-60 npcs fighting each other even top of the line PCs have like 7fps then, especially with denuvo also running.

This game is not UE5

guess not think I heard something from a dev ******** on UE5 so I assumed he used that as an excuse. But I doubt its easier to mod still, asians arent fans of that usually.

And I have seen very low fps in bigger sieges, think it was shortly before you fight that guy with the bear powers there are probably 100 npcs arround and half are probably fighting.

I knew this game was a slant-eyed conspiracy against the west.
They're trying to clog our PCs with bloated save files.

I can tell you from first-hand experience that unless the devs literally build a modding architecture into the game, it's hellish to mod.

The goblins are so stereotypically jewish it's so funny how blatant it is, just missing a star of david. JK Rowling approved.
