Funny thing is boss can use shield/spear but the player has to 2h the spear it seems. Also synth is heaviely underleveled or too badly equiped for this boss if he gets 1 shot by 1 attack of the boss. Its more a show case how bad the hitboxes are. And not sure if the boss would be easier if you had the vault over shield perk or the one where you can climb on the back. Which is quite stupid that its a perk to begin with. In Botw you also dont need a perk to climb on the back of a Linel and neither in dragons dogma.

You can pickpocket in this game, and for some reason nobles carry around an absurd amount of money. I have robbed multiple noblewomen of gold bars they were carrying. The giga jew at the bank has it all now, just like real life. If he ever tells me I lost money on an investment I'm going to rob the place.

50 hours and I've barely left Hernand and done like 3 of 40 Abyss puzzles. I will be shocked if this isn't my goty (not counting Trails but I'm not sure I'd call a remake my goty on principle)

One nitpick to speak he implies the game isnt focusing on story and on gameplay. But there are a lot of quests where you escort npcs and just listen to them talking to you RDR2 style. Cutscenes you can skip these not and you have to pay attention to not lose them.

Anyone found a good tool to take screenshots of this game with? The in-game photo option fucks my picutes up for some reason, saving the colors different than what i'm actually using (red changes to blue for example). Probably because im using HDR. The windows snipping tool doens't seem to work, I just want to share and see

Yeah it did that to me too, my last thumbnail I used a pic taken with the photo mode and it looked very different, also was using HDR.

40 hrs in and I just figured out you can inspect an items refinement path to see what its final stats are. Most items are close in power/defense with the trade off coming with innate perks like attack speed or crit.

Note, offensive buffs on gauntlets or boots only effect unarmed combat

I use ShareX for screenshots in general. Can't confirm whether it works for Crimson Desert with HDR in particular.

I just saw a section of Crimson Desert where you fly up on your wingsuit and attack a wing of vaguely pterodactyl-shaped technomagic WW2 bombers by landing on them and disabling their power sources while the robot turrets try to gun you down.

I ******* can't believe this ****** fever dream of a game... just **** off.
