Introducing Downvoting
I've been reading your recent feedback, and you're right — there needed to be a better way to deal with low-quality posts beyond just reacting with Disagree and moving on.
Starting today, all posts now have a Downvote button. If a post's score drops below the threshold, it gets collapsed by default. You can still click to expand it if you really want to read it, but you won't have to see it cluttering up the thread anymore.
We'll be watching how this plays out and adjusting the threshold if needed. If something feels off or you think the cutoff is too aggressive (or not aggressive enough), let me know.
Thanks for pushing on this one.

I don't see a downvote button.
You need to become a verified American patriot first.

Oh boy I can't wait for the onslaught of new libtarded users with their sock puppets and low post counts and targeted harassment campaigns to make great use of downvotes!
Very cool.
Very cool.
Using fake feedback threads as setups for bits is pretty good
you joined after this posted, so you should have known! Do your due diligence next time.

I like this experiment, because it'll teach everyone that democracy is fake and gay.

Threshold should be based on country of origin, for example indians have to reach 0 downvotes before their posts are hidden.

When a forum does this it inevitably changes how the forum operates. Now instead of each person having the same amount of power, it becomes majority rule. Unfavorable opinions (decided by the group) are downvoted, despite whether they are true or not, or need to be heard, lessening the strength and value of the individual and ultimately hurting the site. This will be used to wield power by those who suck up to mods/admins and by mods/admins themselves. I have no problem with Rusty deciding what he wants as it is his site, but this extends the power down and invites those who conspire to get more of what they want.
I am against having a voting system, as it is always manipulated one way or another. I do however want country flags to be shown.

Btw you should need HQ Platinum Ultra Pro Plus to access downvoting.

Just a few more negative smilies would suffice. I am still hoping for the special pepe smiley.

"I don't care what they tell you in College of Winterhold, Tiber Septim was a Redguard.”
Similar to custom name color, this feature should be limited to HQ Platinum holders.
Based, I'm going to get more collapsed posts than any of you ******* casuals

Wow this is literally the worst possible choice you could have went with and I don't think I saw a single person ask for this as a "solution".
