Okay, that's a pretty funny statement out of the blue, like that. You sort-of need to elaborate. What's the backstory to this conclusion? How have you reached this conclusion. But most importantly, why have you reached this conclusion?

He downloaded the game, played it for 2 hours. Discovered the game is just an exploration simulator with goofy art and music.

Exploration simulators cannot be good if there's nothing worth exploring the world for.

That's why you make a game like morrowind and cripple player speed, so that climbing a hill is as winding to the pc as it would be the rl player.

It's okay for exploration but it lacks action. They should introduce at least some Valheimesque progression.

I passionately hate "X is finally redeemed!" viral marketing campaigns. The game is ****.

It's plagued with the same issue most of these survival games have: It's a glorified tech demo.
Now if they were to add a game into that engine we could be going places...

Its just missing a oblivion-sized "empire" of two or three factions making trouble for exploration and a bit of progression. If you'd put skyfield in it and ghetto all the ******* to new atlanta, that would be a 5/10, 30 dollar game imo

One thing I will say about NMS is that it has the most visceral renditions of black holes that I've seen in a game yet. Maybe this is just a weird quirk on my part, but I felt actual anxiety when approaching one for the first time.

Starfield left him buttmad, so he ran to a 10 year old game to get his modern space game fix.

And still he his buttmad.

Earlier he ran to Valheim and because he is terrible at vidya he died and therefore Valheim is also bad.
