Obvious ones are games like Stardew Valley or Terraria, what else?

Styg will still be updating Underrail for years to come, even after Infusion releases
As far as actual free content? Vermintide 2 is still receiving updates, its newest map released last December. Most of its post launch content came way late, probably too late. Also Don't Starve, I haven't played it for years but I'm pretty sure it still gets updated regularly, as in reworked characters, new items, enemies, seasonal events, biomes maybe even?

Unless I'm mistaken, the developer for Lords of Midnight and its sequel Doomdark's Revenge kept updating the games to keep them running nicely on modern hardware.
Shattered Pixel Dungeon and Caves of Lore also come to mind.

The three evils that humanity faces:
Censorship

It's always funny watching awards shows give "labor of love" awards to games that constantly bleed players or become stagnant, yet stuff that isn't astroturfed like CS or Dota 2 trounce on most games' peak release player numbers and journos completely ignore them.
Edit: I think I missed the point of the thread, which should probably exclude live service

CS2 is still missing content from CSGO after forcibly removing it from everybody's librarysheet wrote: ↑ March 12th, 2026, 19:05It's always funny watching awards shows give "labor of love" awards to games that constantly bleed players or become stagnant, yet stuff that isn't astroturfed like CS or Dota 2 trounce on most games' peak release player numbers and journos completely ignore them.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 1 recently got an update with a very cool online account integration feature in a singleplayer game! I love Warhorse!
