I will be playing Icewind Dale for the first time. Should I play it modded first (BG spells) since this is a combat focused game?

Gaben got tired of exchange rate volatility in Argentina and Turkey, so now he's removing Turkish lira and Argentinian peso from Steam altogether.

The turkish one is unfair, but the south american one is overdue.
If half of south america can afford to pay to be smuggled across the american border, they can afford full-priced games.

It genuinely begs the question what most of these studios even ******* do. They've outsourced the animations to mocap studios, they've outsourced making models and props to Pajeets, they've outsourced everything relating to worldbuilding and plot to some leftist commune in Canada.

What exactly do they need hundreds of employees and close to a decade in time to actually accomplish?

Someone has to oversee and manage all those third-party studios. And then someone has to oversee and manage all those people who oversee and manage the third-party studios as well. Obviously, this requires at least 10.000 people.

Sorry I didn't give you a link to the Beamdog forum where all of the mods are literally created by ******* and/or ********. There used to be one good modder there (Duns Scotus) but he moved all of his stuff to Github a Unearthed Arcana.

Anyway, IWDEE changed a bunch of the original spells, and I don't care enough about you to put in much effort. Maybe try the Spell Revisions mod. - i think it fixes some things.

I've had my eyes on it for a while, but it reeks of pozz. Game opens up with a stronk female bounty hunter. There's apparently no White, heterosexual male protagonist you can play as among the playable characters, and that's a huge red flag.

Would be thankful if someone could weigh in and clarify if the game is worth the bother.

I used to think all that **** did not really bother me but halfway through Wrath of the Righteous I started making mercs so I could actually like more of my party - Sheelah is the worse companion ever and she is not even gay she is just the worst goddamned Paladin of all time.
