The Guild was a baller game, great for online shenanigans. So might be pretty good. But, if it's like The Guild, it's nothing like Kenshi.
My Mods:
Kenshi:

Well, it depends on if it takes more after Guild 1 or Guild 2. Guild 1 had basically no personal action whatsoever, while Guild 2 definitely has the element of commanding your dudes personally.TKVNC wrote: ↑ March 22nd, 2024, 22:32The Guild was a baller game, great for online shenanigans. That's fair. I played Guild 2 more, really.Norfleet wrote: ↑ March 23rd, 2024, 05:01Well, it depends on if it takes more after Guild 1 or Guild 2. I've watched a few Nookrium videos on it and have (checks) 57 minutes in it. I can't really compare it to Kenshi, as I haven't really played that enough, but based on what Norfleet said, this would def be closer to G2.
From a surface level, the game seems alright, so far. It has an expected glaze of jank alongside some questionable UI/UX choices, but it seems more than serviable if this is your type of fun.
After going through a small character creator that provides you with some small starting bonuses, the game basically says, "Go do whatever you want". The tutorial was fairly straightforward, and I had 0 performance issues with the game. My lone run was as an entertainer, with a pet dog, essentially busking in the market. I was eventually going to use my performances as a distraction to have others pickpocket from the audience, but I hadn't gotten there. Nook does something similar-ish in the playthrough above.
All that aside, I think once I can get used to the UI, the game will be a lot more fun and open up.
