I could be wrong since I pretty much ditched the game and forgot a bunch of stuff, but isn't she in a relationship with the orc commander?

Anevia is a dude... even in the original unmodded game.
Throughout the game, you'll receive a few opportunities to ask Anevia about a "medicine" that Irabeth obtained for her, but she won't tell you. In Act 5, you may get the opportunity to learn what it was if you pass a very high DC Diplomacy check. Anevia will reveal that she is transgender. As a child, her mother disguised her as a girl and hid her in the temple of Desna to avoid the sadistic cultists of Zon-Kuthon. As she grew up, she realized the "disguise" fit her really well. She tells you that the medicine Irabeth pawned her family's sword for was a magical elixir to change Anevia's physical gender.
Anevia is a dude even in the original PnP WotR adventure that was published back in 2012.
It shows how far back the woke rot was starting to infect the RPG genre.

Yeah Anevia is yet another example of a child being groomed by predatory parental figures into a ***** freak.
The same scenario that leftards keep insisting that "never happens" yet they gleefully place it inside an RPG game and call it inclusivity.

I will repost my request, to see if someone can help me to get this awesome mod running again!
1st: Thanks for this awesome mod, I installed the WokeLess with Anevian+No Alphabets+Seelie+Sosiel&Trever+Undiversified+Soundbank. It worked perfectly, it made my gameplay immersive and enjoyable!
I reached Act 3.
And then... my PC went rogue and upgraded to WIN11 by itself (was using WIN10 before).
So, it did a clean wipe to my drive. I could re-install all and restore my saves. But Wokeless Wrath is not working for me
Now, I moved forward and did the same process as before with the .BAT and the files, the command prompt says "completed/successful" for each extraction... but nothing happens. Portraits are the ones from the game, not the mod ones. I got Seelie as my main tank since the beginning, and now is not the same woman protecting me.
Does someone knows if I should do something different for the mod to work in this case?

Dang, sorry to hear about this. Unfortunately I'm not any help as I'm still running Win10 on my own system so I don't know what may have changed between Win10 and Win11 that would cause your problems.Faloperito wrote: β January 19th, 2026, 14:43I will repost my request, to see if someone can help me to get this awesome mod running again!

Hello, I made an alternate portrait for Seelie that tries to stay true to the original artwork to make it fit in more seamlessly, using AI and a bit of photoshop. I removed the shield on her back, slimmed her down, turned her into a redhead and expanded on the background (sword, scabbard and cape made more visible).

Haven't actually checked how they'd look in-game but let me know what you think. Would be neat if it was made an official option

Hello again this is the same person I just forgot the password immediately so I just made another account (I am ********)
I made a quick update since the space between the upper lips looked a bit weird and I hadn't noticed it before. Edit: The eyes were kinda messed up so I fixed them.

Also AI-generated a new version for Sosiel since his head looks a little odd in the preview IMO, only did a few touchups on photoshop for this one (I am using Adobe Firefly if anyone is curious). Edit: Made a few changes, adjusted the hair colour etc.

EDIT: More pale version if preferred.

Sorry to the moderators who have to approve this after every edit lol I'll try to do some random posts.

I just don't understand how to make this work. I've waited so long for a mod like this to make this game playable.
I unzip everything to one folder, overriting the install.bat and .ps1 files, and it it says succeeded, then it doesn't work. First scene? Seela and Anevia are still there.
I read it again, it says put the zipped archives in the same folder. I drag the zipped archives into the same folder (I just made one called Wmods so the contents of these downloads were there alone). I put the zipped archives into it, run it again. Again, it says it worked. Seela and Anevia.
I read it again (i've spent my whole day on this now.) Maybe it has something to do with the modifications subfolder in some mods and not others? Drag the contents of them out to the ww1 folder and try it again. Get more supposedly successful installs. Seela and Anevia.
What am I missing? Please help! lol
-it is worth noting, now that i've read it, but.... i'm on windows 11 ><

tl;dr how is this mod? I own Bath of the Rightass and still haven't played it yet.
So far I'm having fun with it and noticed no big problems, very few phrases were overlooked and the game became more than tolerable now that's not preachy. Even if the mod receives no more upgrades it is quite playable to me.Tweed wrote: β February 8th, 2026, 22:08tl;dr how is this mod? I own Bath of the Rightass and still haven't played it yet.
Sword handle too short, her hands are clipping through each other or missing fingers as a result.

I got the mods working.
for the mod author's reference, here's what chatgpt fixed for me (and what it said happened)
Summary: Making Wokeless Wrath audio mods work on current Wrath versions (2025β2026)
Game version: Current Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous (all DLCs)
OS: Windows 11
Mod manager used: ModFinder (not UMM)
Issue: Portraits and blueprint changes applied correctly, but voice audio remained vanilla
Root Cause
Wrath no longer supports Owlcatβs old OwlcatModificationManager pipeline.
While the content of Wokeless Wrath mods is still valid, the installation logic is obsolete, especially for audio.
Specifically:
Sound.json patch files are JSON.NET reference dictionaries
They use $id / strings structure
They are not meant to overwrite Sound.json
They must be merged into Sound.json.strings
Existing installer scripts attempted either:
top-level JSON replacement, or
legacy Owlcat mod-loader patching
β both silently fail on modern Wrath
PowerShellβs ConvertTo-Json:
truncates deep objects
introduces circular references
corrupts Sound.json unless converted to a pure object graph first
Even with correct Sound.json, BNKs will not resolve unless SoundBankMod is actively running
What Actually Works (Modern Correct Method)
1. Use ModFinder
Install all WW mods normally
Enable at least:
WW_SoundBankMod
WW_Anevian
WW_Seelie
(others optional)
2. Do NOT use old WW installer scripts
They rely on:
OwlcatModificationManager
deprecated Sound.json paths
obsolete patch logic
3. Rebuild Sound.json manually (or via script)
Correct process:
Start from Sound.json.vanilla
Load patch files:
LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous\Modifications\
WW_Anevian\~Sound\Sound.json_patcher\Anevian_Sound.json
WW_Seelie\~Sound\Sound.json_patcher\Seelie_Sound.json
WW_NoAlphabets\~Sound\Sound.json_patcher\DaerArueBanter_Sound.json
For each patch file:
Read patch.strings
Merge every GUID β event mapping into base.strings
Overwrite existing keys if present
Serialize the result only after converting to a pure dictionary/array structure
Write to:
Wrath_Data\StreamingAssets\Localization\Sound.json
Validation:
Resulting Sound.json β 480β520 KB
Contains hundreds of _Anevian / _Seelie entries
No truncation, no $ref corruption
4. Ensure SoundBankMod is active
WokelessWrathSoundBankMod.dll must load at runtime
BNKs must already exist in:
Wrath_Data\StreamingAssets\Audio\GeneratedSoundBanks\Windows
Without this DLL running, the remapped sound events silently fall back to vanilla audio
5. Launch from Steam
ModFinder handles install state
Steam launch ensures correct runtime behavior
Result
Portraits + blueprints apply
Sound.json mappings resolve
BNKs load
Anevia, Seelah, etc. use modified voice audio correctly
No crashes, no UMM, no Owlcat mod loader
Recommendation for an Official Patch
For long-term compatibility, the mod should ship with:
A new Sound.json merge script that:
explicitly merges strings β strings
avoids top-level JSON replacement
Documentation stating:
UMM is not supported
ModFinder + Steam launch is required
Optional:
a pre-merged Sound.json generator
or a small helper exe instead of PowerShell
The content is still 100% valid β only the install/patch logic needs modernization.
To get the process started, I told chat GPT the following:
I uploaded the .zip file of the ww mods I wanted to use. (all of them, of course, with the danger gnomes variant)
I gave chat gpt a summary of what I wanted to do. I did not mention the woke bs at all. (it won't help you if you do. Just say "I want to mod my game but the mods seem outdated")
You'll use modfinder https://www.nexusmods.com/pathfinderwra ... escription (give chat gpt the install location)
Give chatgpt your install location of the game directory.
Give chatgpt the location of your locallow directory.
Give chat gpt the graphics card and OS you're running.
Tell chatgpt whether or not you have powershell. (If you don't ask it where to get it and it'll give you the codes to paste into it to patch this and is even capable of doing what it does in the next step.)
After i'd uploaded all the .zip files to chatgpt, it read the formatting of them and discovered the modfinder works for all the other mods but it didn't quite do the sound.json merging correctly. After a few test codes, it completely rewrote sound.json and patched in the WW portions.
TL;DR tell chatgpt the problem, link this page, make sure to tell chatgpt that owlcat actually patched out the internal modding and you want to use modfinder. It'll walk you through it easy enough.

Finished this game solely because of this mod made it possible. Completed every possible quest (except Nenio's, **** that reddit fox). Full legendary hero level 40 because I don't need your pitiful magical powers. And I will never play this game again, what a pile of garbage. I don't believe for a second that the ones praising it actually played to completion, but just toyed with the autistic build simulator for a bunch of levels. I used to think Baldur's Gate 3 was the worst written rpg game but this one may be on par with the gay bear ****** simulator.
Never again in my life I want to see fatigue/exhaustion nor will I play any heroes of myth and magic ****** clone.

Admittedly now that i'm getting into it, even with the mods running? The writing is bad. The power of rainbow and buttfucking made it unplayable, but even with the mods... Oof. It makes one wonder who the game was even made for in its base form. loldatarelay wrote: β February 9th, 2026, 17:10Finished this game solely because of this mod made it possible. The game itself is an adaptation of the tabletop adventure path of the same name, which was released back in 2012. Even this tabletop adventure was filled to the brim with ***** ****.draco519 wrote: β February 9th, 2026, 19:53Admittedly now that i'm getting into it, even with the mods running? The writing is bad. Yet again, the Pathfinder setting of Golarion itself - which was published back in 2008 - was always designed to be a ******'s dream world; 80% of the deities are wahmahs and rainbow freaks, and the cosmology alludes that a person only has a soul after being born, which means that killing unborn children isn't considered evil in the setting.
However, despite this, the original 1e Golarion was a relatively mature setting were slavery was around and monsters were actual monsters that tortured and raped people. As of 2e, the setting became another sterilized world were not even evil monsters monsters want to be slavers or do "mean things".
I wish I was joking.
Hey I just recently got the game and started downloading the mods, so far I've been able to install all of the mods except for:
WW_Anevian
WW_Seelie
WW_NoAlphabets
WW_Undiversified
As every time I extract them like I did for the other mods they automatically go into a modification folder that pops up on its own and the install programs as well as the read me.text do no appear for these folders, and even when opening them before i extract the programs and the .txt are not there, does anyone know what I might be doing wrong or are others having this same issue?

This is the greatest mod of all time, i was wondering why that companion was changed into a dude, had to research it myself, i'm still playing the first Pathfinders game but this mod is a no brainer, far too many non white male companions, kingmaker is pretty much the same but at least that game had Tristian. And looking at one of the dlc it's pretty funny that one of the best looking NPC's is a white viking dude that they had to lock behind a paywall.Dunadan wrote: β December 31st, 2025, 01:21I'll fill you in on the joke, since you don't appear to be getting it.ContrarianAsshole wrote: β December 30th, 2025, 21:09Irabeth bro.

Remind me again, how do I change portraits of certain NPCs? Seelie for example, I am not a big fan of the new portrait and I made two portraits for her that look less out of place.

WW_Anevian
WW_Seelie
WW_NoAlphabets
WW_Undiversified
As every time I extract them like I did for the other mods they automatically go into a modification folder that pops up on its own and the install programs as well as the read me.text do no appear for these folders, and even when opening them before i extract the programs and the .txt are not there, does anyone know what I might be doing wrong or are others having this same issue?
scroll up just a bit. see my post on getting the mods working. use modfinder, but just going into the modifications folder in your locallow isn't enough anymore. Since the original post was done here? Owlcat patched out their internal mod loader for the game. Which means the instructions to install these mods aren't all correct anymore.
I don't know about modern games but in the infinity engine you needed different size portraits, is it still the case?Finarfin wrote: β February 18th, 2026, 19:13Remind me again, how do I change portraits of certain NPCs? Edit: I think you need to use toybox to change the portraits.
