Looks like ziggers are chimping out and ******** on the game because it's made by hohols so it's probably good
Ordinary Russians will not play a videogame if it does not have Russian translation. If it's a game made by slav devs who all know Russian but only include Ukrainian translation the ones who could still play it in English will take it as a personal insult.
I will still try it in a year or two when it is properly patched and fattened with updates cause I don't care about politics when something is good.

Developers need to just end this localization ******** altogether already, you get exactly 2 languages maximum: original if non-English, and English.

How do ukraineans have their own slavic? That's like if southerners had their own english. I thought "ukrainean translation" mods was just a meme not to say russian.

Afaik ukrainian is much closer to the other surrounding non-russian slav languages
I'd have to double check to be sure, but I think the non-Russian parts of modern day Kievan Rus actually control much more of the land than Russia does.

Your jewish governments think so, or you wouldn't be getting jeeted. In normal curcumstances, I only recognize the old definition of White: british, swamp germans, nordcucks. Europeans are honorary, that's how dire times are

Even as an English speaker, I concur.

It would be like if some people made a game and refused to translate it properly into English, instead choosing only "ebonics" (a.k.a. niggerjibber, which is English adjacent) because: **** you whitey.
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.

I loathe seeing the "Chornobyl" formulation for some reason.
And while I prefer Kiev, the other, while strange looking in English, doesn't really bother me.

Modern-day Angloids are low T, submissive, subhuman soycucks, the total disgrace to the white race.
Do you know which racial group saved mainstream sports from ****** infestation, and basically debunked the "Blacks have superior physiques" myth? Slav. Slavs are perfectly capable of physically dominating even the wildest, primal feral negroid while retaining civilization and intelligence; if that doesn't qualify as "white supremacy", then I don't know what counts.

Bri'ish includes more than angloids. Not our fault we're bred big and dumb, it worked alright for awhile. The problem is we partnered with foreign outlaws but killed our native, resourceful outlaws, which culled the "tree of liberty must drink the blood of tyrants" strain.

I just go with the version used by whoever currently controls the town/area. So it was Chernobyl when the Russians were controlling it and it is Chornobyl now that the Ukrainians have taken it back.

main issue with the game is the combat is boring… but it's not so different from ATOM in that regard
I understand not wanting to make your setting magical, but I think you should be really working on making the 'grounded' combat interesting

also the crafting is about as boring as I found it to be in the early access. Just the same items tiered, runescape crafting. Why bother adding it at all?

but
that's kinda just nitpicking I guess, it's a fun setting, just feels like a couple step backwards from trudograd in most ways

kinda feels like they just tried to adapt what they had to a low-fantasy setting, rather than thinking of what people would want to play and creating systems around that

as an example:
I'm playing a merchant guy but there's no way to hire a bodyguard, I'm just stuck with the one guy from the beach that wanted to tag along. What can I do with my high mercantile/persuasion/etc.,? Not much!

the game feels like it was made for one kind of adventurer-hero-guy in mind and the other skills are there because, well, it's an RPG right? those have skills

:pipe-thinking:

contrast in ATOM where your-guy is a soldier-guy so yeah it makes sense to be well-rounded or even combat focused, whereas in swordhaven you're supposedly picking your background

Dialogue gives a **** ton if xp especially if you invest a lot of points into diplo and bluff. Perception and intellect is also crucial. You can play that merchant archetype pretty easily and have several minions doing your bidding in combat.

Grainhold still has a bunch of bugs in dialogue that I reported during early access, that's… not a good sign. I'll just stop playing and wait for them to finish the game.

To be fair, it appears I misremembered just how many I reported.

The game has a critical crafting bug I explained in exhaustive detail, with pictures and a step-by-step guide to 100% reliably reproducing it.
Two patches ago.
Not even a response.

The bug:
The game can't handle different stacks of components. It can count them fine, but...
Let's say you have one stolen and one normal in your storage chest.
You need 3, and the game correctly prevents you from crafting the item until you have a total of 3, so you buy the third from the vendor and make the item.
The game should take all 3, but it only takes the one in your inventory, the first one it finds.

You can even have all of them in your inventory. two regular and one stolen.
If the regulars are first, it takes them. If the stolen is first, it only takes that one.

I also explained the issue with ranged weapons. They haven't fixed it.
Fortunately, we can fix it in a patch when the game is complete.
I can't be bothered to explain, but it has to do with the ridiculously short range and a running man who can never be shot because he can run further than an arrowshot every turn.

I am becoming more certain that losing the Russian guys lost critical talent.
