Strange that I never see anyone mention the other game the devs of tactics made considering they look very similarmaidenhaver wrote: β January 14th, 2026, 22:45I would, anyway. I need to return to Tactics, I may consider it the true 2.

Isn't this show literally written by Americans? Meanwhile, tons of ******** and communist scumbags are praising the line like it somehow relates to heckin modern day politics. There was also a dig at Trump at the end of the episode calling Canada the 51st state. I'm not autistic enough to even go and look and see if that is even a thing in the games... but let's be real, who even gives a crap anymore about that?
I'm so ******* tired of modern day glop people politics being injected into everything.
maybe the show is good after allAlgol wrote: β January 29th, 2026, 07:42The show literally just had the line "Don't think of them as human beings, think of them as Americans," said by some Canadian terrorist *****.

Canada was annexed by the US, verified in the intro cinematic for Fallout 1.Algol wrote: β January 29th, 2026, 07:42The show literally just had the line "Don't think of them as human beings, think of them as Americans," said by some Canadian terrorist *****.

Considering that Nate is the player character, being a war criminal is just the natural continuation of your arc as a player character in a vidya game. There's a reason gamers call it the "Geneva Checklist".
I know that... but was it called the "51st state" in the game (or 51-something?)Tweed wrote: β February 5th, 2026, 01:36Canada was annexed by the US, verified in the intro cinematic for Fallout 1.Algol wrote: β January 29th, 2026, 07:42The show literally just had the line "Don't think of them as human beings, think of them as Americans," said by some Canadian terrorist *****.

I just assumed it was a not-so-subtle dig at ORANGE MAN by the libshit writers, the way it was shown.
It probably was, but at least it was lore justified.Algol wrote: β February 5th, 2026, 04:18I know that... but was it called the "51st state" in the game (or 51-something?)

The show made Canada the 51st state. Annexation doesn't make it a state, and with the rest of the US divided into commonwealths, why would canada become a state? It'd be a commandery or territory.
OMG They did the thing from the GAME! We're so back!

Clearly a bit of humor to show how the world was sliding into hell well before the bombs. Where the **** do they get 51st state and all this grand strategy ******** from? These ******* even read a single issue of Heavy Metal, before? I hate these ******* franchises, they belong to a decade and small group of people who get it. Fallout either clicked with you, or didn't.
Genuine question, where the **** did the ncr come from? Saw a clip of bunch of troopers coming in the middle of Vegas and im wondering what kind of excuse they will come about this
I was baffled when I realized how many people really liked this show.

Out of thin air like most stuff in this show. Dont expect it to make sense. They even teased liberty prime at the end. They just take things normies remember from the games and make everyones IQ 70 in the show, while they promote interracial relationships. Even if the characters or actors have 0 chemistry and look ugly as hell. All that is kept together with mystery box/mcguffin writing and cliffhanger endings but you never really get any satisfying setup/conclusions which make sense. Even the Legion is portrayed as total morons with Mckauley Caulkin as their leader... which is way too small for a role like that.
Now you just get month old, thrice reheated leftovers of what you've already had. All the moisture is gone and it's dense as rubber.
Somehow, the Master returned.
Hmmm, did they ever explain what happened to hoover dam? Did they show even a snippet of it? What happened to the outlying settlements around Vegas, the other NCR states being forgotten?Algol wrote: β February 5th, 2026, 20:29They never mention in the last episode what the **** that female politician's severed head is actually doing, unless I completely missed the explanation for that.
I don't remember the Hoover Dam being mentioned. Shady Sands was nuked in the past in a really dumbass scene (Maximus, the ****** BoS character, was from there). Season 2 starts in Novac because le-heckin dinosaur statue reference, but that's it. I want to say you maybe see Primm in the distance at a certain point, but I can't remember. The show is trash.mynameismortis wrote: β February 5th, 2026, 20:35Hmmm, did they ever explain what happened to hoover dam? Did they show even a snippet of it?
