Clothes can't contain me! A lot of armors make your hips look very wide which makes you look weird especially when you run, so I tend to avoid upper body armor.

In this case you probably should've thought about other people's needs and played as a woman.

Newest screens I have are actually days old. I am losing the motivation to play again. I just really dislike the weapon system in Elden Ring.

I've re-specced again. No more blood loss at all ever. It helped me get back into the game. I am about to do the fight under the erd-tree with the omen guy.

I did Absolution to un-aggro Blaiid as he is apparently immortal, then did a bit of Ranni's quest to get the wizardman dead and then sided with the evil wizardman2 and poisoned Ranni. I also spoke with Fia to get D dead. I haven't spoken to any NPCs up until then besides the Loathsome Dong Eater. I wanted to kill as many as possible, and sadly many get protected. I wanted to kill D, but he TPd to the table safe space before I've met him in person. The Elden Ring wiki sucks.

Most of the items which may be of interest to me battle-wise are past this fight, so we'll see how it goes. This all escalated because I was stuck on the first fight with the warrior elden ring spirit guy, and I didn't want to use ashes nor get help from other players. I'm pretty proud of being able to overcome adverisites. I reckon I did every single boss-fight besides Caelid Bell Hunter and a duo of crucible knights in the dungeon just before you enter the capital. They're hard to kill when they're alone, and they're duo boss there...

Oh and I choose not to kill Radagon and Mohg for lore reasons. I've killed them in my initial playthrough where I did the Ranni ending. I'm now doing the Dung Eater ending. I planned for the lord of madness ending, but apparently it is commie-flavoured.

So I've just arrived at the snowy biome. I'm getting tired again. I can only play so much. I feel like I get energy void whenever I finish a biome. I also HATE snowy biomes.

Today is not my day. I got over all the bosses I was stuck on before besides the Bell Hunter.

I'm currently doing the Consecrated Snowfield.

I did Moghwyn's Palace, but as I've mentioned I don't intend to kill him, so it was a short detour. It's probably my favourite location in Elden Ring, which isn't to say much. Dark Souls 1 is by far the best game. I miss being able to join a faction that is opposed to my goal which you have to go out of your way to join. On the upper note, at least I have a favourite enemy in Elden Ring - in fact two. I like the small omens who flop onto you like some odd WWE opponents and also the fat guys who spew fire out of a chalice on top of their head. I think my rank is DS1 (by far) > DS2 > ER > DS3. I used to think DS3 was better than ER VERY briefly, but I think DS3 is a slop shite game. It has nothing going for it and it seems they've learned from some mistakes, so they didn't make them as bad in Elden Ring. Sadly, it still suffers from being very NPC centric. What I really love about DS1 is how NPCs are nobodies. They can be made completely irrelevant. With successive games they've been centering the universe more around NPCs, which I hate. I also discovered there isn't just 2 simp endings but 3! The chaos ending is also a simp ending. I am now dead-set on the dung eater ending. I just need to find 1 more cursebed.

If you wonder why I get progressively more weirdly dressed - I need 1 piece of the thorny eq to get potential stagger on enemies when rolling and I need to keep eq weight low so I get the best roll. I can't play the game with a medium roll, I need a low eq weight one.

My screenshots are also finally in order because I stopped naming them.

I have left completing the Consecrated Snowfield, then hopefully I'll get to Miquella Haligtree which I've never done before, then I need to do the east side of the snow map incl. the dragon fight and then I think it is just the ending sky ruins map...? If I've read correctly other underground maps are locked behind doing Ranni's quest, and I've poisoned her and don't intend to apologise. I'm kinda doing a genocide run excluding merchants and Boc, while saving some bosses for lore reasons. On a rare occassion I think something isn't fair, so I summon either ashes or a person. I think it has happened twice, and it is usually when there is multiple bosses. If they're in a group, I think it's fair for me not to be alone. My initial run I've played as a sorc and I'd summon ashes or players literally every single time I could've, which is the souls equivalent of an idle game. Now I'm doing everything myself.

I'm annoyed with how the game feels like it revolves around NG+ far more than other entries. All cool eq seems to be at the VERY end of the game. I think once I'm done (I've been looking forward to the end for a long time) it will be a fair while before I even consider replaying. I don't like open world games. I think Elden Ring does the open world the best from any OW game I've seen but ONLY in Limgrave. After Limgrave it seems they've forgotten all about it and the world doesn't interact with itself, which makes it feel inorganic and empty. In Limgrave I've seen multiple enemies fighting each other, using each other visibly on purpose or even reacting to me killing others and covering in fear. I haven't seen it after Limgrave. I don't really like the game after Limgrave either. Liurnia of Lakes feels like a chore and doesn't feel visually distinct. The volcano map is just eh. Atlas Plateau and the snow map all melt into each other lacking visual clarity and there isn't anything interesting there. Caelid has WAY too much life for something which is supposed to be world-ending scourge. It would be a good area if they removed the vast majority of enemies and made the environment especially deadly, but they didn't. Instead you have a massive amount of enemies which are very unpleasant to fight, who don't interact with each other, like they don't see others exist.

The drop chance of weapons with a satisfying/interesting moveset is a joke too. Remember how I had an entire build around max Arcane? Which gives you 2x as much drop in the game? Yea. I've never gotten anything useful, and honestly I didn't even notice getting more than I did on my 1st playthrough with 0 arcane. I literally tried farming items using consumables which further boost the drop rate and didn't get ****. And the items would probably be still **** to use had I had the opportunity to try them. I wish I started as the naked **** with a stick with 0 stats instead of the Prisoner, so I could have a nice even number everywhere without wasting points. Also, I wish you could sell spells and incantations, as on NG+ I've shitload and then some more. Apparently you could had at some point...? But they ofc patched it out. There is also 'essential' items which only give you anything on the 1st playthrough, but you can't sell them either, even though lore-wise they're literally worshipped, so they should've fetched a fair price. It would be far more interesting balance-wise to have them be sellable, so players have to weigh their worth in gameplay vs their worth as a currency.

The wikis for the game are dogshit. Genuinely.

If anyone hasn't played the game I'd recommend doing first game as tanky strength build. It will be probably the most enjoyable. Try to collect all spells and incantations you can, so you may do NG+ as a faith build (respec before you restart). I strongly recommend against playing as a sorc. It is entirely designed for people who are intellectually disabled as a ways of being able to get through the game. It isn't fun. It isn't creative. It isn't even visually enjoyable. Faith builds are at least cool. The only thing intellect builds have going on for them is they have the coolest weapons for some reason, even though INT revolves around casting sorceries. I don't get why. Like genuinely every single coolest melee weapon is INT. I ignored them on my sorc run because I was casting spells.

Most importantly: avoid flails. They will drive you mad. (They make a jingly sound every. step. you. take.)

My first time to Miquela's Haligtree. If Elden Ring had a good art direction, it'd be my fav location. Alas, gotta make everything blend together and lack distinctiveness.

I hate Miquella's Haligtree gameplay-wise. I'm really glad I left that poofter in the cocoon to forever rot.

I'm down to being in front of Melania's boss-fight, I think. I haven't gone in. I sincerely doubt I have it in me to defeat her, given how ****** up the entire area is. I wonder is it is more bearable if you go there without being NG+.

The knowledge for this game is so spread with the wikis lacking important info. I thought the depths would've been inaccessible to me due to not doing Radaghan for lore reasons, but apparently they are. Possibly they'd be inaccessible had I not prepared to do the chaos ending, alas, I was going for it until I first realised the commie undertone and later learned its simpery.

I keep not recoginising locations and enemies, even though I'm decently sure I've done them all. The game is extremely unmemorable as are most of the enemy designs. For crying out loud, it is usually just a marginally quirky upsized version of animals. I wonder if any other underground regions will be accessible through the coffin tp, as the only coffin I've found was broken. I saw a post mentioning you can go everywhere via coffins, but I wonder if that was patched out. In the overworld I'm down to just the fire giant, and I reckon from there on the game is very close to the end (Farum Azula and then a tiny snipper of the capital city). I don't think I'll be done today but perhaps tomorrow...?

I can recognise where the game imitates Dark Souls 1, but everything it does it does worse. I wonder if I will ever find a singleplayer game which will be able to even just compete with DS1 in my mind.

I've spent an insane amount of time trying to figure out if you can get under the part of the underground city where the 2nd D resides without killing General Radan. As far as I'm aware you can't, which means you're locked out from further few boss-fights. The result also was that instead of D2 killing Fia, I killed her myself. Funny that, as on my 1st playthrough I was mad she died.

I'm in Farum Azula. As far as I'm aware, I did every single unique boss and all or near all non-unique encounters which I could've done without killing Radan or Mohg. Mind you, I've done them all on my 1st playthrough.

The 1st dragon fight in FA drops a ridiculously low amount of runes.

I'm not sure if I will take many if any screenshots at all. I don't like how FA looks like and after that it will be back to the capital for the final fight. I may force myself to, but you can generally tell which areas I wasn't fond of by the lack of screens.

Been playing the new update for Songs of Syx, been a while since I played and having to relearn a lot of the mechanics. I am not someone who enjoys the efficient aspect of a city builder, I hate how most peoples cities are just endless rectangles and squares or geometric shapes. My current capital is rather chaotic in its layout, been an amusing experiment, and I rather enjoy my little hamlets on the outskirts. Sadly, I am facing a severe food battle, not an outright famine but I am always on the verge of underproducing. It's partly my fault for not enslaving pigmen to work the farms, it is a viable strategy, I just hate having to deal with the other races demands to maintain their happiness so I usually default to ethnostates.

@ThulsaDoomer that looks beautiful, pal!

I hope you don't mind me posting. I am done with Elden Ring. 2nd playthrough finished. I am satisfied, although I do believe the game to be crap. Not as crap as DS3!

Also, note the game lacks the 'walk away' ending which the other games have. It wasn't originally in DS2, but they added it, due to what I assume to must had been an uproar.

The game isn't very screenshotable. I think they improved graphics...?

I really don't like the changes they made to sith statues - they made them soulless.

The old models were better. They should've just updated the light, post-processing and put in higher res textures.

Bounty hunter is good. I don't like Imperial Agent. Both of the Sith stories would be better if they didn't have the quirk chungus factor. Also, why are so many characters *******? And then the rest of characters look ambigiously between White and ****/***** or straight-up **** at times. Few of the faces are White-White.
