I feel like this thread is the most active discussion of the game on the internet.
There's really nothing to get excited about - Spiders is now just a cheaper BioWare knockoff, same ugly women and woke writing, but with a smaller budget.

What these dumbfucks failed to understand is that BioWare has EA backing them, so they can afford (or could, until recently) to be *******. Spiders have no safety net, but instead of trying to be profitable by giving the straight, male audience cRPGs squarely aimed at their sensibilities, they decided to ape the rest of the dev dumbfucks.

All that's really left is to laugh at the trainwreck if, or when, it eventually releases.

Doesn't France give their game studios lot of money like Canada does?

Probably, though unless they're pocketing most of the shekels, considering how janky and low-budget all their games are, it can't be that much money.

:broken: It's a darn shame what they've done with this game. I used to enjoy some of the prior jank that Spiders released. Feels like everything's getting pozzed these days.

As I said, they're owned by Bigben. And Spiders has never made games for the "straight male audience." The studio was founded by a woman and she's still the creative director.

I very much beg to differ.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know, Technomancer was their first game to feature a male (and gay) romance option, and Greedfall was their first game that allowed you to create a female protagonist.

Also, here's a character from Bound by Flame:

Them switching their target demographic was only as recent as Greedfall.

Sometimes her preferences aligned with guys, but they were still her preferences.

In Mars War Logs one of your potential love interests is an autistic *****.

I am well aware the blonde is the town bicycle, but I attribute that to the seeming preference of the French for whores. The other love interest is her complete opposite (but is also autistic).

Also a woman-boss.

And oh wait never mind, Jehanne is ******* gone.

Don't even bother with this I guess. It's not Spiders anymore.

I think she was probably the sole sane person at the company, holding back the rest of the workforce from being ********.

Her departure seems to coincide nicely with Spiders unleashing the French thirst for ******* upon their costumers.

French thirst for ******* was already unleashed partially in Technomancer and in full force in Greedfall.

I still can't comprehend how French went from dominating global (or at least European) culture in 20th century to niggerfaggot Olympics and whatever the hell this game is.

:dice: Could someone tell me which RPG is superior right now: the current version of GreedFall 2 or Outward?
I think Outward 2 is going to be a blast, though. :axe:

What are your thoughts on the current version of GreedFall 2, is it worth getting? How does it compare to RPGs from the same sub-genre by Bioware? :tumbleweed:

Actually no, not in school. Kids study The Great Patriotic War here. Other WWII happenings are only briefly mentioned and are a subject for self-study outside of curriculum.

They should put even more **** and ugly ****** women in the game, I'm sure that will help!

EDIT:

Just looked up a few sources - estimated total of currently laid off game devs is around 4000, but that's excluding all the freaks MS fired.

Did anyone ever release a breakdown of the department the 20,000 employees they laid off belonged to?

Hello everyone! We’d like to take a moment to address something many of you have pointed out. Earlier in development, we mentioned that the game would feature six romance options. As the game evolved, certain directions naturally made more sense than others and that number changed - the final release will include four romance paths.

That said, rest assured, our focus has always been and will always be toward making each relationship with the companions feel impactful, fully fleshed out and meaningful. Even though Fausta and Till are no longer romanceable, they remain vital to the story. You’ll still see plenty of them, be able to explore the complex connections that make them who they are and get to know them. They’ll be essential to your journey with many secrets to uncover about them.

We understand this might be disappointing for some players who were looking forward to other possibilities, but we hope you’ll enjoy discovering all the characters and their story in the game.
They cut the only white woman romance and kept these
