Thanks for the post my man. You've been a work horse all year with Oyster. Most ball touches all year and thankfully little to no injuries. Nervous but looking forward to the last 3 potential games. Hoping to feed you a game winner again as you've gotten some before amongst many others to seal us some victories. 3 to go. Here's to some lock-on's to you from Kally. Take care brother.

I assume Tanner is the primary X receiver. Am I flanking or running the slot? Glad to hear you are pleased with my performance and that I have been an asset to the team, Coach! I got my lucky gloves ready for those Kalzone bombs.

Same as hockey basically, in the "slot" up mid. You mostly get catches for us up middle dead center, straight shot like a missile as I designated based off your display pic to match the position. Nemesis runs seams up mid or outside left or right, ( hand offs or short passes) or outside mostly and you take passes exclusively from Kally. Juice can go short pass tosses or long bomb, mostly mid / 11 to 1 o'clock position. You share some priority with him . He's larger and effective against lower STR defenders where as you have the speed and agility for quick tosses when defenders are lacking take down power/size. Hope this helps as it's hard to explain sometimes but I check up on opposing teams to see whether we go toss or run heavy and to whom. It's a whole ordeal mentally lol.

That's BEAUTY brother, I recall playing some pickup football and floor hockey with this mindset as I tried to get the win every fuckin game with blocks. I used to block shots and get the stick down every chance I got and took many shots to every part of the body to stop the chance, rackin up bruises. I played QB during the high school games and befriending a guy I never got along with like many others "Amadeus". Some jacked Greek guy that everyone was weary of as he had a 'pissy' or stand off-ish attitude.. He was on my team one day and some guy was talking **** about him after the flag football game class. I spoke out loud saying ( I remember this to this day ) " You see the size of him? Anyone running their mouth has a death wish or is fuckin stupid" and we became buds afterwards as he exchanged a handshake with me in the locker room. I always remembered this as he'd be on my team every time after that whether I picked him or not and we worked together to STFU out of the other team as we played to get the win for the gym class lol. Good times.

2025 Eastern Playoffs Round 1: Philadelphia Liberty vs Washington Eagles

The Philadelphia Liberty have been eliminated. They opened the scoring 3-0 on a field goal in the 1st Quarter, but Washington came back with a touchdown and held the lead the entire time all the way to the clock. Washington Eagles move on to Round 2 vs the winner of Tampa Bay Corsairs vs RPGHQ Shitposters...one notable game mention being QB Liu Doremus taking an injury which hopefully persists for the week, for us to take advantage of for Round 2 if we can sink the Corsairs...

Field conditions/Weather: N/A Indoor game. Night time.

The Star Dome is packed this evening as it's a sea of red, white and blue with flags, beer helmets, glow-sticks and foam fingers of all kinds as the cameras pan the stands all around the stadium. Drone shots from above going up and down field as the stadium workers near the HQ entrance tunnel make some final adjustments to positioning and as flags are held at the ready to be displayed. The lights suddenly go out with 3 flood lights of blue, white and red from above beaming down at the entrance tunnel and circling around eachother on the ground as the music starts and the crowd is on their feet shaking the camera feeds with noise...

Two teams of HQ flag bearers make their way out from the tunnel each carrying a flag with a letter on it in team colors spelling out "R-P-G-H-Q-(Team Logo)-S-H-I-T-P-O-S-T-E-R-S" as they make their way to the sidelines in a jog and doing a lap around the field with the flags waving as they go clockwise and counter clockwise passing eachother. They end up at the tunnel again and line up in order as the boys make their way out shortly after at the 2:05 mark of the song. The Crowd erupts as 'the spear' makes it's way out onto the 'Battlefield' for possibly the last time this year... all helmets are off for this one as the boys walk out and take in the atmosphere as it's deafening. Making it to our sideline, the Tampa Bay Corsairs lead by QB Francisco Engstrom make their way out as the deafening cheers turn to "BOO'S" in an instant as they are hounded at the tunnel and stands on their way to their benches. A lot of talking going on at both benches from hype-ups to nerve calming pats and comments. The music fades out and the national anthem is announced to be played as both teams settle in for the across field staredowns.

Following the anthem, QB Francisco Engstrom and Kalzone "The Bomber" make their way to centerfield for the coin toss.
Both arrive at about the same time as the crowd erupts again as a wordless staredown takes place as the camera feeds switch several times to take in the moment as the crowd starts off a loud:

"Ennngstrom! ENNNGSTROM! ENNNGSTROM! "

...as the ref looks to Engstrom after a few moments asking him to make the call.

QB Francisco Engstrom calls: "Heads".

Coin lands on...

"Tails".

QB Kalzone "The Bomber" makes a motion with his hands as if to say 'give it'.

RPGHQ Shitposters choose to receive the ball to start the match.

Kalzone "The Bomber" exchanges a final glance at Francisco Engstrom as they turn away from eachother and make their way back to the sidelines. Kal gives Element "The Watchman" a tap as our receiving line heads out onto the field to get positioned to receive the ball. The noise stays loud as helmets are strapped on and fists connect to palms as the ref holds the hand up and whistles. The Tampa Bay kicker looks up and down his teams line and nods as he runs forward and slams the ball up into the air as Element "The Watchman" tracks it with hands out as the final meeting of the season with the Champs is underway...

[ 1st Quarter ]

Element "The Watchman" snags the ball out of the air as the Tampa Bay kick is deep and he makes it to the HQ 20.Stacko Turtles gets us to our 24 with Vergil "The Vampire" to our 39 before having to punt it off early as Tampa Bay holds us off early as we can't get the 1st down...

Tampa gets the kick back and makes an impressive crowd quieting run to the HQ 45. Roguey "The Stealthy" gets in a swat along with Nathaniel Saxton on the following 2 plays as Engstrom is visibly upset with his receivers as they are held for nothing on the HQ 45 and are forced to punt it away as the crowd erupts at the HQ Defense holding them to nothing on their first possession.

The Tampa Bay kick back bounces out of bounds as we take over on the HQ 22. Vergil "The Vampire" gets in a short chug for 6 yards as he shrugs off 2 defenders going down at the HQ 28 and another feed from Kal to the 34 for a 1st down refresh which gets the crowd lively again.

Bob Tee gets in a 5 yarder to the HQ 39 with Fin Arfin refreshing the 1st down again to the HQ 47. Cipher "The Maverick" misses a pass a couple plays later and we're held to 4th down to a punt back as we can't break the 50 yard line this time either...

Getting the deep kick back from White Shark, Tampa Bay gets to their 27 with Arcane Lurker making a swat and our boys holding them for a 3 yard loss to their 24 as they have to punt it off back. The crowd is constant with the eruptions as we hold them to nothing yet again as they have to send it back once more.

Oyster Sauce catches the kick back getting over the 50 yard line finally to the TB 46...but an Interception takes place on a Kal toss on the TB 43 as they get it back early taking some energy out of the crowd. Roguey "The Stealthy" makes a tackle stop with Iren Aeus getting one in as well for a loss to the TB 39 as they have to get rid of it, which sparks the crowd back to life again as the HQ Defense holds them to no 50 yard break as well.

Oyster Sauce snags it and goes down on the HQ 39 with Ninety Eight getting to our 46 on a nice toss-and-grab.

Fin Arfin makes a diving catch over center field to the TB 45, to get the first down in as it fires up the crowd with another first down refresh on the TB 32 as the fans can feel one coming!

"The Juice" and Nemesis "The Skull" get in some runs to the TB 11 as the crowd are on their feet hoping for the touchdown...but we're held to 4th down a play later and have to end the drive with a FG. White Shark nails the extra as HQ gets on the board with 1:47 left to go in the 1st Quarter.

Getting the kick back Tampa Bay gets to their 26. Rand "The Shade" getting in a swat to stop a bullet pass from QB Francisco Engstrom as they refresh the 1st down afterwards to the TB 37 but the fans erupt again as they are held to 4th down and have to punt it off. Oyster Sauce gets the kick back going down at the HQ 18 as Fin Arfin gets in a 1st down to the HQ 31 as the clock ticks down with 42 secs remaining.

[ 2nd Quarter ]

Coming out to the 2nd Quarter both teams are alert and focused as the shenanigans on the scrimmage line have been little to none as the punting and punt receiving lines get out onto the field. Tampa Bay gets the punt back to start the 2nd Quarter getting to their 44 yl. Red Seven gets in 2 swats one after another as we hold Tampa Bay to nothing as the crowd cheers at the forced punt back.

We can't get anything going on our next possession though as they hold us to our 25 yl. On Tampa's next punt back they make a crowd quietting rush over center field to the HQ 45 with another follow up 1st down to our 38. Another open receiver is found just up right as QB Francisco Engstrom has to drift left while being chased for a sack and he gets it off just in time before hitting the out of bounds as it's grabbed for another 1st down deep at out 14 yl...

They are able to squeeze up to our 8 and 7 yard line and are helf thankfully as our D denies the touchdown attempts as they end the drive with a FG to tie it up.

Element "The Watchman" snags it out of the air on the punt back, making it to our 26, but once again... we're held to 4th down as Tampa's defense is also holding us to little gains as well as we send it back. The Corsairs get to their 47 yl and an injury takes place on the HQ 34 as the Fullback is taken down hard on his side by Xenich "The Ashen". The injury doesn't spark anything up though as both teams are focused on the do or die game...

Held to a 4th down at our 34 they put up another 3 pts to take the lead as it's just under 5:00 mins to go now in the 2nd Quarter...

The Tampa Bay kick back is deep as Element "The Watchman" takes a touchback to put us on our 20 yl. Vergil "The Vampire" and Fin Arfin get a couple nice catches in getting us to our 28 and 37, but Boon Taker's hustle up mid to the 41 is as far as we can get as the Corsairs keep us to minimal gains still as the crowd shifts slightly to unease as we have to send it back. Tampa Bay makes it to their 34 yl with a 1st down chug over center to our 45 with 3:21 left to go in the 2nd Quarter. An injury occurs as Bertram Tung crushes his target trying to get around him to the ball carrier as he gets the shoulder in good causing some chest pains to the Corsair Left Guard as he's slow to get up. Bertram steps over him which finally sets off some trash talking and physical exchanges. Nothing gets too out of hand though but it's enough to get the crowd reinvigorated to see their guys finally getting to what they're known for as some lingering chats take place as bodies seperate and put distance back between eachother as the refs try to get players back to their sides.

Held to 4th down at the HQ 45, the Corsairs opt to go for a long FG to try and put another 3 on the board to end their push...

But it's JUST short as it misses the horizontal bar as the crowd erupts in relief at the close miss. Oyster Sauce gets the kick back making it to our 37. On the following play Kal feeds Fin Arfin a toss up right but as he's taken down he hits the turf hard on his shoulder as he heads off field to check in with medical staff at our benches as they apply some ice and check his rotation range. Vergil "The Vampire" gets us a 1st down on to TB 48 with Nemesis "The Skull" another one to the TB 36 as we keep the momentum going...

We can't get past the 32 yl though as we're held for a 4th down and make a FG attempt... but it's just off center as White Shark was pressured right off the snap with Corsairs slipping around our D and he had to rush the kick slightly which threw off his pacing... still 6-3 Tampa Bay. They take over on their 32 yl only able to push up to their 34 with Rienen "The Ursus" getting in a 3rd down stop forcing an early punt. With under 1 minute left in the 2nd Quarter we get the punt back for possibly the final time this quarter with Oyster Sauce getting to our 41 yl. Vergil "The Vampire" makes 2 nice catch-and-runs getting to our 48 and a 1st down on the TB 36 as we're closing in yet again.

With the clock still ticking, Kal finds Ninety Eight for 2 back to back open tosses to the TB 24 and a 1st down to the TB 12! With 12 secs left in the 2nd Quarter White Shark gets out to put 3 up onto the board to end the quarter...

During the half time break, a number of the guys are showing a bit of nerves as the game is tight despite White Shark tying it up later in the 2nd. Many feeling like 1 more may be the deciding score which ends the season for one of us. But regardless of the low scoring game and defensive back and forth stalemate we've been exchanging with the Corsairs, 'optimism' leads the locker room as we head out to start the 2nd half with a kick off to Tampa...

Booting it off to Tampa to start the 3rd Quarter, Tampa gets to their 27 with a 1st down refresh to their 44 but to the delight of the crowd as they roar in appreciation, Tampa is held for 4th down at their 46 before having to punt it off back. The boot back drifts just off to the side and bounces out of bounds at our 25 yl fortunately as Tampa was hoping to get it to bounce deeper and out. Vergil "The Vampire" gets us a 1st down to our 46 and the crowd erupts as Stacko Turtles get them on their feet as he chugs in a 23 yarder for another 1st down!

Kal finds Element "The Watchman" all alone just up mid on a cross over play looking like it's meant for Cipher "The Maverick" as he goes down at the TB 5 yl! The Stadium ups in volume again as Vergil "The Vampire" gets in another run to the TB 2 as the end zone once again teases us, begging for a touchdown.

The Corsairs keep the pressure on though and we're held for 4th down as the boys can feel the disappointment from the crowd as that's the closest we've come to getting one in... We contemplate just going for it and trying to muscle one in as if we do fail the FG, Tampa would have to take over deep on their 2 yl... the play clock keeps ticking... but we get White Shark out instead to secure 3 pts and retake the lead as we hope this doesn't come back to bite us...

White Shark aces the FG as the fans celebrate the HQ retaking the lead as we swap out lines to send it back. Tampa Bay gets to their 36 and 38 after getting the ball back with Lore Gamer getting in a 4th down forcing swat as the crowd stays loud as they have to punt it back quickly. Oyster Sauce gets to our 21 yl with Bob Tee a 23 yard catch for a 1st down to our 44. Kal finally finds "The Juice" for another 1st down over center to the TB 43 as he's been thoroughly covered most of the game.

The momemtum is once again squashed though as we're held for 4th down once again and have to get rid of it ffs... The Corsairs get it the punt deep getting only to their 13 yl with 3:08 to go in the 3rd Quarter now. They manage to push up to their 24 and 34 getting in a couple 1st down refreshes but ultimately they get roadblocked at their 44 and have to send it back as the boys hold them again from breaking center field. On our next possession it's much of the same... as we can't break our 39 yl after Little Bro gets us a 1st down on it before we have to get rid of it.

The 3rd Quarter comes to an end as it's been a mostly uneventful one outside of White Shark's go ahead field goal, with Tampa Bay getting from their 29 yl to their 45 as the clock expires... HQ holding onto the lead: 9-6.

[ 4th Quarter ]

As we come out for possibly the last 4th quarter of the season the boys underlying nervousness is still surfacing as Tampa Bay on the other side is showing much of the same as Engstrom remains animated and focused as he talks with multiple players on his sideline as he prepares head back out to resume play on their 45 yl. Getting setup on their 45 yl the chirping all but non existent as the guys are the most focused they've been all year as the anxiousness in the stadium from the crowd can be felt. Engstrom first toss is just short of his receiver as Manny von Carstein and Ultra Fan pressure him early and his follow up hand off running play only gets to their 49 as they have to get rid of it early yet again as the crowd fires up at the boys keeping Tampa to minimal gains and crushing any 3rd Quarter break rousing speeches. Getting the punt back, Oyster Sauce goes down at our 21 yl with Nemesis "The Skull" getting in a possible first down as it's measured... but it's ruled not a 1st down as it's inches from a refresh.

But Kal feeds him another one and he refreshes the 1st down at the HQ 32 as Val "The Moofia Boss" takes an injury locking up hard with his assignment to buy Nemesis just enough space to squeeze in around the Corsair attempting to get hands on him. Thankfully it doesn't look too bad as he stretches it out for a few mins on the sideline as we're held for 4th down in turn and have to send it back buying Val some time to get some attention from Med Staff.

Tampa Bay snags the punt back out of the air and makes it to their 32 with a 1st down on their 45. They keep the nerves heavy in the crowd as they make another nasty rush for 24 yards over center to our 31 for another 1st down. Rienen "The Ursus" grizzly's the Corsair runner on the following play as he drops him square on for a 4 yard loss pushing them back to our 35 as the boys give him some taps for the perfectly timed play disruption. Tampa Bay answers back though... with an Engstrom bullet toss getting to our 19 yl for a 1st down with Lord Rumbles making the stop. Tampa slogs their way up to our 18... and 15... but the crowd comes alive again as a 4th down is secured by Spell Sword making a pass block. The Corsairs get out their kicker to try and get 3 pts out of the drive...

It's good as we're tied up yet again and swap out players for the kick back... Tampa is fired up at this as Engstrom and his Corsairs have made good so far on his words about going point for point with us, but I let the boys know not to let this get into their head and don't get out of hand over anything going forward as Engstrom is going to count on us getting overly aggressive and take precious yardage loss on penalties. Element "The Watchman" cradles in the kick back as he goes down at our 29 yl, "The Juice" getting his hands on one again to our 36.

Vergil "The Vampire" gets in a possible 1st down to the HQ 39 as it's measured once again...this time it's good as Stacko Turtles follows up with another crowd erupting 1st down to the TB 47 just over center field.

Frustratingly, once again they hold us there as we can't move forward as Tampa Bay is digging in fiercely doing everything they can to stop our progress and we have to punt it off to the fans disappointment... Getting the Wndrbr Boots punt, Tampa gets to their 19 yl as it's deep just ahead of the end zone. With 4:43 left to go in the 4th quarter Bertram Tung makes a takedown for a Tampa Bay loss pushing them back to their 15 as the 'ghoulish' one gets some love from the boys as every loss is needed and like gold at this point. Tampa Bay can only push forward 2 yards to their 17 yl as the boys are holding firm again keeping them to a 4th down and a punt back to us. The Star Dome is rocking yet again as this maybe be out last chance to try and take the lead as possessions now are coming down to the wire and limited... The punt back is caught by Oyster Sauce as he makes some fancy moves and changes directions several times trying to find a way around our D's lockups of the Corsairs as he gets to the HQ 47 with the crowd erupting in a "SAUCE! SAUCE! SAUCE! SAUCE! SAUCE!" chant as that return was a beauty. "The Juice" gets another hard to come by snag as he goes down over center field to the TB 42 with Kal finding Maiden Haver finally for a 1st down refresh on the TB 33 with 3:34 remaining... Bob Tee gets one in to the TB 28 with Vergil "The Vampire" getting the camera feeds shaking as he gets a 1st down for us on the TB 15!

Stacko Turtles gets us a little closer to the TB 10 but the Corsairs put up the blockade again holding us to 4th down as a Kalzone "The Bomber" toss almost makes it into the hands of Cipher "The Maverick" and "The Juice"... White Shark comes out from the sidelines and a hold him up for a second telling him without trying to unnerve him that he has to make this one as a few of the boys and I give him a tap on the helmet as he makes his way out to Kal who's set to hold the ball for him after the snap. Kal nods at him and balls a fist striking his chest with it as White Shark tries to focus on his footing amongst the distracting roars of the HQ faithful all around him in his vision as he takes a glace at the posts, seemingly taunting him to put it through the uprights... The snap is made... Kal catches it and places it with a finger holding it down from the top as he hears White Shark closing in on it before booting it up...!

IT'S GOOD!!!! AS HQ TAKES THE LEAD WITH JUST UNDER 3:00 MINS TO GO AS THE CROWD IS IN A DEAFENING ROAR! The boys on the field mob White Shark as this could be the final one as lines swap out to send it back. Camera's on Tampa Bay's bench catching the Corsairs displaying nervousness with some heads down as they get up to try and get one back. Tampa Bay gets the kick back with the crowd still blasting as they go down on their 25 yl. They get a 1st down refresh to the HQ 39 though on a crowd aweing return as they are stunned at the 36 yard return with 2:26 remaining...

Timeout is called by Tampa Bay... The game could be decided here if they make it in and the crowd is on edge as a number of the fans are looking away from the field with many putting their hands over their face or their heads down, too afraid to look as the cameras catch the anxiety around the stadium. I don't have any speeches to share with the guys during this timeout, but instead Kal and the boys talk amongst themselves stressing the importance to STOP.THIS.FUCKIN.DRIVE. Whatever it takes without getting into any bs... Heading back out onto the field as the ref blows the whistle the tension is at an all time high as both teams get set up at the scrimmage line. Tampa Bay takes the snap.... Engstrom feeding a running back who gets to the HQ 38 for only 1 yard... another hand off is made to Aiden Burrough, one of their star league leaders all year as he muscles one in to the HQ 35...3rd down... Engstrom goes for a short toss up middle left...! BUT BREATH "THE UNDYING" GETS HANDS ON IT TO STOP THE PASS! 4th down! The crowd is a mixture of nervousness and excitement as Tampa Bay calls timeout again to stop the clock.... They are either going to make the field goal attempt and send it into overtime or go for it as we wait out the pause once again, the boys getting in a few last squirts of hydration as the stoppage comes to an end and we return to the field once more. THE STADIUM ERUPTS BUT IT'S NOT ENOUGH TIME TO RUN THE CLOCK AS WE HAVE TO KEEP IT MOVING. Kal runs what he can as we take over on the HQ 38. We push up to our 40 yl as Kal keeps the clock ticking taking his time in between snaps... he suddenly calls for the ball with a HIKE! Getting it quickly the receivers explode into position as he spots Nemesis "The Skull" up middle right and tosses him one...!

HE RUNS IT ALL THE WAY UP FIELD FOR A DISGUSTING 70+ YARD TOUCHDOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN!!!!! AS THE STADIUM COMES APART AS THIS IS IT WITH 36 SECS LEFT TO GO! THE CELEBRATION IS ON! Cameras catching Engstrom and team mates on the sideline with heads down as the loss is realized. "The Juice" lifts up Nemesis "The Skull" in a bear hug as Kal and he lift up Nemesis on their shoulders as the place is absolutely blasting with all the guys on field mobbing Nemesis as it's all but over! Getting back to our sidelines the guys get in some hugs and taps on Nemesis and I finally get my hands on him as he takes the helmet off and I bring him in for a huge hug. THERE WE GO BABY! I yell into his ear that I'm fuckin proud of him but with all the noise it's unlikely he heard it all as he's almost overcome with emotion as he tries to catch his breath as the guys on the sideline continue the celebration with him. The crowd breaks out in a chant of





As Tampa comes out to take the kick back the crowd continues the serenade as they get the kick back going down at their 31 and 33 as the boys hold them with QB Francisco Engstrom running the clock with a knee to END IT! RPGHQ ELIMINATES THE CHAMPS! No words or handshakes are exchanged as we simply head off field giving fans along the sidelines some handshakes and a few of our boys jumping up into the stands to be held for picks and taps. Heading off field the place is rockin as streamers and fireworks fire off as we head off into the tunnels to continue the celebration and a deserved 1 week rest! WOOOOOOOO!

Have managed to get you 1 Touchdown, 300+ yards and almost a 1st down from you ( 9 yards ) every time you get the ball. I never mentioned you among a lot of others as they didn't express interest so I don't want to bother people. You have 4 years left on contract so you're good for awhile. Also, I never mentioned it in any post but I've been offered only 3 times this year to trade players. The 3 being Noone Atall, Ultra Fan and Tweed "The Kobold" which I declined every time. Teams trying to poach my boys on Defense!. When contract resigns come up at end of season I'm signing everyone back on no matter what if I go for a Season 2. - WR # 54 Fin Arfin ( Shoulder Tendonitis ) Fin's shoulder isn't feeling great the last few days. Must have done something during practice or in the weight room. He's dressed though, not scratched. Participation is tentative.

Field conditions: Partially wet. Weather: Clear Skies, chance of flurries as game goes on. 34°. Night time.

Municipal Stadium - aka - "The Eagles Nest" is packed as Brown, Black and Gold covers the stadium. The camera feeds catching breath clouds all around the stadium as Washington Fans are bundled up for this chilly 'Do or Die' evening as final preparations are underway for the kick off entrance. The feed changes to The Star Dome -aka- "The Battlefield" showing that it too is packed with RPGHQ fans as the stadium has been opened to show the game on the large screens and the center field overhead score board. $20 gets the fans in to sit anywhere they want; first come first served or a donation of 2 large canned and jarred items to go to locals in need. Camera feed switches back "The Eagles Nest" as the team entrance is announced...





QB Lui Doremus makes his way out with his Washington Eagles as the crowd is a deafening roar of blur of Black, Gold and Brown. Kalzone "The Bomber" and our 'spear' make their way out as the 'boos' rain down . Washington has been a dominant force all season and more so with Tampa Bay 'falling' as they make their way out onto the field with the camera feeds shaking as both teams make their way to their sidelines as conversation is hard to take in as the noise is overwhelming. Camera feeds cut to "The Battlefield" again as a tribute to the boys is played showing highlights of the season...

as Cipher "The Maverick" 'grabs'.... "The Juice", Fin Arfin, Stacko Turtles, Vergil "The Vampire" and Nemesis "The Skull" running and catch plays; play in sequence with Maiden Haver, Boon Taker, Ninety Eight and multiple clips of our boys on Defense holding the line get our fans in The Star Dome noisy. Clips from all throughout the season play as the fans at the "The Battlefield" stand to take it in...
The music and highlights on our end fade as the national anthem is set to be played, with players removing helmets, mouth guards and lowering the heads...





Following the anthem, QB Lui Doremus and QB Kalzone "The Bomber" make their way to centerfield...

The Washington Eagles choose to receive the ball to start the match.

Qb Kalzone and Lui Doremus part ways at centerfield with Kal eyeing Lui's leg as his injury is still persisting, no words further spoken. Lui simply nods at the refusal to comment back as Kal makes his way back to our sideline as White Shark gets out to send it off to start the elimination game. Kal tells the boys to focus on rushing him and to aggravate his leg as he points at Ultra Fan, Manny von Carstein and Rienen "The Ursus" to keep him moving and wear him down on his left side...

White Shark exhales as he looks to the ref for the whistle to start the match... The ref blows it and White Shark runs in to boot it off to the Eagles to start the elimination game as 'breath plooms' take up the camera feeds as the Semi Final is underway...

Just a bit of personal 'only I will know it' flavor for some fun. I still have all my old Morrowind ( when I got what unique and at what level notes ) from when I first played it in a grey and black folder in my dresser drawer lol over 15+ years old.

The crowd is noisy and standing to start the quarter as Washington snags the White Shark kick getting to their 25 yl. The following play sees nothing but a 1 yl gain to their 26 but Doremus finds a receiver up right to their 35 yl that has to be measured as it's within inches...

It's ruled good... as the crowd stays alive and loud as they push up to their 43 and another first down on their 46. The wind has picked up now quickly as the clear skies start to grey over low and fast as the flurries have arrived a lot sooner than expected. Snow starts to make it's way into the stadium as Doremus finds a receiver just up left as he catches it under heavy coverage... He turns on the jets and gets the fans roaring as he he gets the legs blurring with 4 of guys in hot pursuit... HQ 30...20...10...but they can't catch up to him as he gets into the end zone for an early touchdown of 54 yards getting Washington on the board... The crowd gets the place shaking hoping this is a sign of things to come as the extra point is good...****...

The Star Dome camera feed shows our fans disappointed but it's only early... Element "The Watchman" gets the kick back going down at our 22 yl. We get pushed back to our 20 on a 2 yard loss as the Washington fans up the noise at the loss. Kal makes a fake handoff to Stacko Turtles and Maiden Haver on a crossover and finds Element "The Watchman" just up middle right as the direction changes and fake out fools the Safety in the back catching him out of position as Element "The Watchman" gets his own jets fired up...

The Star Dome feed shows our fans at 'The Battlefield' erupting in celebration as Element gets us on the board with his name and number flashing across the stadium on the display feeds. WOOOO BABY! The boys mob Element in the end zone as he's out of breath with steam coming off him as he makes his way back to the sideline as that display gets the boys fired up. Lui Doremus and the Eagles don't look worried and get their D line out for the White Shark extra point attempt. The wind bursts are nasty out there though every other play it seems...and despite no hands getting on the ball, White Sharks' extra is just wide left as the WSH crowd erupt as we can't tie it up. Kal taps White Shark and reminds him, to keep the head up and that we're going to be dealing with this all game as we swap out lines ready to send it back...

WSH gets the kick back to their 26 yl as Xenich "The Ashen" gets in a swat after WSH gets to their 34. Rand "The Shade" gets in a SACK on Doremus as The Star Dome feed shows our fans on their feet again as we hold them to 4th down and they have to punt it off back...

Oyster Sauce gets it back and goes down at our 32 on a nice return run. Kal finds Nemesis "The Skull" who gets in a nasty Star Dome pumping 1st down run over centerfield to the WSH 48!

Bing Lim is found again to the Eagles 24 and "The Juice" ALMOST gets the mitts on it in the end zone but it's just out of his reach ffs as we go for a field goal to try and take the lead... The wind and Washington's D men are not having it though... as fingers get on it and it falls short as the Washington fans erupt again at the momentum crushing field goal miss... Having to kick it back Wndrbr Boots sends it off as Washington catches it and goes down on their 27 yl. Atlan Tico makes a for sure 1st down denying swat as he smacks that one away with some attitude as he makes some 'throat cut' gestures as if to say "NOPE, not happening", trying to keep the boys amped. WSH gets to their 36 just shy of a 1st down and then held for a 4th down punt with Rand "The Shade" making the pass swat as WSH sends it back...

Oyster Sauce gets this one to our 26 yl with 2:58 to go in the 1st quarter. We get pushed back though to our 19 yl as Kal gets sacked by determined WSH defenders as this livens the crowd up again. Bing Lim gets us back to the HQ 29 yl but we're held for 4th down and back it goes... WSH has it again as they get to their 42 yl but Xenich "The Ashen" and Arcane Lurker get in some swats again to stop Doremus' tosses and they can only make it to their 48 with Xenich "The Ashen" stopping another one to force a 4th down punt once more. The kick is deep and we only make it to our 6 yl as Kal finds Bing Lim who gets us to our 11 and 13 but again... we're held to next to nothing as we sent it back. The wind favors WSH again as they get to our 40yl over center field as teh kick back is slowed in the air. Arcane Lurker gets in a tackle stopping the Eagles at our 31 yl. On the following play Rienen "The Ursus" and Manny von Carstein are able to break through the D and 'bear' down on Doremus as Manny gets the SACK on him causing a dust up as he lingers overtop of him as is his style. Several WSH players go for Manny to get hands on him but that's quickly evened out as the boys get hands on a player each. The Star Dome feed shows fans getting a "FEED, FEED, FEED, FEED, FEED!" chant going with left and right hands going up and down in a 'chomping' motion as the camera cuts back to Municipal Stadium with the players separating as WSH goes for a field goal to put up 3pts to end the drive.

is SHORT...NO GOOD! We swap out lines as we takeover and get to our 40 yl. The clock expires to end the 1st quarter as we make our way off field into some back room warmth for a break and to get ready for the 2nd Quarter trailing by 1: 6-7.

Coming out for the 2nd Quarter, the snow flurries and wind bursts persist as we line up to takeover from the 1st Quarter on our 40 yl. We are able to push up to the WSH 45 with Oyster Sauce chugging one in and Stacko Turtles to the WSH 36.

We're held for a 4th down and get White Shark out to try and put up 3 pts again to end the drive... but the conditions are having none of it still as it drifts just left yet again which gets the Eagles fans noisy early at the miss as lines swap out with WSH taking over on their 36. WSH gets to their 42, 41 and a crowd roaring 1st down to the HQ 25 on a long carry as the stadium remains blasting... They get another 1st down refresh to the HQ 5 yl with Manny von Carstein getting in a tackle on the WSH runner.

A Doremus pass is swatted away on their 3rd down forcing a 4th down by Spell Sword! Saved us a TD on that one for sure, as WSH gets out the kicker again to try and put up 3 to further the lead.

The Field goal attempt gets the fans on their feet as it's good... lines swap out to get it back as the place is a flurry of Black, Gold and Brown...

Element "The Watchman" gets us to our 29 yl with 4:54 to go with Bing Lim to our 35 but we're held and have to send it off as we got almost nowhere on that one... WSH gets the kick back as the wind is in their favor still to their 38yl and a following up hustle to the HQ 49 for a 1st down. The following play gets the Star Dome rocking as Xenich "The Ashen" drops the WSH runner and dislodges his helmet.

The players comes together briefly but the hit wasn't high or an intentional 'head shot' as players saw this so nothing comes of it. Xenich motioning to the refs as they agree they saw it and it wasn't targeted. The Star Dome feed shows the fans excited at this regardless as 'lids' coming off always gets them going. With no penalties on the play WSH resumes play getting to their 43 with Xenich "The Ashen" getting in a swat to follow up his 'lid loosening' play as WSH is held for 4th down. The Star Dome appreciates this on our camera feed as Xenich is having a good day as they applaud the effort.

Punting it off back to us, it goes into the end zone for a touchback putting us on our 20 yl. Kal finds Bing Lim again who gets to our 31 yl for a 1st down as it's hard to find, Fin Arfin, "The Juice" and Cipher "The Maverick" as WSH has had Finny, Cipher and the big man covered well so far...Stacko Turtles toes the out of bounds line on a fast right side bullet but he gets the hands on it and goes down at HQ 40.

Kal goes for Cipher "The Maverick" up middle but it's just off target as it's teasingly within inches of his grip. Stacko Turtles and Maiden Haver help get us to the WSH 26 with Nemesis "The Skull" a 1st down refresh to the WSH 15!

Held for 4th down... we get White Shark out for a 3rd attempt at a field goal as the Star Dome feed shows the crowd on their feet hoping Sharky can finally get one in and break the 2 try drought.........

It's good this time as the HQ fans are relieved this one finally gets through and we're back within 1pt yet again. Sending it back, WSH gets to their 30 yl. Nathaniel Saxton gets in a tackle for a loss to the WSH 27 with Rand "The Shade" a swat to hold them there. They are able to push it up to the 39 but are forced to punt as the run the clock with 15 secs left to try and keep us from any chances to make something happen.

This one was heartbreaking at the time boys, as he almost went all the way but gassed out before he could get it in as we have to redo possession as they kick to us to start the 3rd Quarter. Unbelievable. Just short of a ******* go ahead TD. The Star Dome feed is a sea of hands on heads and disappointment as that was one of his best chugs all year...We go into half-time trailing yet again by 1: 9-10...

Coming out for the 3rd quarter the conditions are not letting up. During the break, shovel teams cleaned off the field as it came down a little more heavily. Lining up to receive the kick, the ball is sent into the air as Element "The Watchman" clutches it in and gets to the HQ 28. Kal's toss to Stacko Turtles is just out of his reach, but Cipher "The Maverick" is found right after as he gets a 1st down to the WSH 49. We're held to 4th down again as "The Juice" can't get the hands on it again as it's just out of reach by inches...**** sake...we are forced to punt it back.

WSH gets the punt back as Wndrbr Boots grumbles to himself and sends it off. WSH gets to their 17 yl as it's a nice deep kick. Breath "The Undying" gets in a tackle dropping the runner at the 26 with Nathaniel Saxton another take down to force a 4th down punt back to us.

Oyster Sauce snags this one and puts on some moves getting to our 42 yl juking two blockers which gets the Star Dome fans on our camera feed excited. Kal finds Bing Lim yet again on a fake to Cipher "The Maverick" AND HE GOES ON A NASTY RUN TO THE WSH 16 AS HE FIGHTS OFF THE SNOW IN HIS EYES. The Star Dome fans on our feed come to life again as Bing Lim catches his breath as the boys get in some touches on him as we're close now...but... the camera pans back down field to the scrimmage line... Kal is slow to get up...omf...

...just as the toss got off... the WSH player got hands on Kal and spun him around just enough as Kal tried to brace the movement and pulled something mid section wise...******* kidding me. He walks off field as the Star Dome feed is in disbelieve. Seeing the Med Staff immediatley on our sideline he hunches over but not in too much pain face wise. I tell the staff to get him off field and to the back, I don't want camera's catching any grimacing to give any hope for Washington. Kal makes his way back to through the tunnels in a light jog, suppressing the urge to wince as I motion for Solong "The Lobber" to get over to me and tell him he's going in for now... I tell him to block out the noise, and just focus on the plays. The boys need you right now and just steady the breathing and visualize the motions. The Washington fans are elated and up the noise as Kal heads through the tunnel entrance way ignoring the jeering...WHY MAN WHY. Solong "The Lobber" finds "The Juice" who goes down at the WSH 10 yl being dragged down by 2 Eagles... The Star Dome feed shows the fans feeling one coming as they are on their feet hoping the boys can get one in...

The HQ camera feed is rockin as HQ takes the lead with White Shark nailing the extra point for: 16-10 HQ


...with 3:32 to go in the 3rd Quarter. White Shark heads back to the benches as the boys give him some hugs and helmet taps. I call him and Vergil over and get the arms around them in congratulations as the Eagles' stadium volume is lessened as we prepare to send it back. The Star Dome remains on their feet with HQ Blue, Red and White flags and novelties waving around as we're finally in the lead. The camera catches White Shark in smiles as he kicks it off back into the air to WSH as they grab it and go down at their 30 yl. Med Staff tells me Kal's mid section muscle area is pulled and it's likely he's out for the night as pivoting and hip turn motions aren't cooperating. Keeping this to myself... WSH gets to their 28 with Manny von Carstein getting in a tackle to rop the runner and Bertrum Tung another at the WSH 26 as they are held for 4th down and have to send it back. Oyster Sauce nabs it and goes down at the HQ 41 on a fancy run as he switches direction twice and makes a nice juke which gets the Star Dome HQ fans roaring as center field is in sight. Washington stops the momentum though as we're held for 4th down and have to send it back...ffs. WSH goes down at their 38 and 35 as J1m "The Mandalorian" gets in a square on hit as they have to send it back after getting nowhere with 1:45 to go in the 3rd Quarter.

Oyster Sauce goes down at our 25 yl with Solong "The Lobber" finding Bing Lim a player later as he fires up the afterburners for A HUGE RUN TO THE WASHINGTON 29 yl! HOLY ****!

We push up another few yards to the WSH 27 but are held for 4th down as White Shark gets out for a 3 pointer...... but it's short as the wind drifts it YET AGAIN to the ******* LEFT as he gets it up into the air. GFD... This is a relief to the Eagles fans and a 'swear' inducing display on the Star Dome feed as we swap out lines as WSH takes over on their 27 yl.

Washington takes over on their 27 yl getting to their 35 on a rush play as the wind is keeping Doremus from risking tosses as well thankfully...

Washington gets a lucky break though... as a nasty seam is found and they run it all the way up field... HQ 40...HQ 30...HQ 20...HQ 10... all the way to our 2 yl before being hauled down as the clock has expired to end the 3rd quarter... wtf...

The 4th Quarter starts after another field shovel as WSH takes over on our 2 yl. Roguey "The Stealthy" makes a swat in the end zone to save a TD, thank **** as that one look 'for sure' as they get to our 1 yl. Breath "The Undying" gets a stop in for a loss to our HQ 3 and Rand "The Shade" a 4th down forcing tackle as WSH gets out the kicker to put up 3 pts to end the drive...

The kick is good as we swap to get it back. Element "The Watchman" gets it and goes down clutching it tight at the HQ 29 yl. We're pushed back to our 22 as Solong "The Lobber" is pressured to go down for a 7 yard loss. Cipher "The Maverick" is able to get us back up to our 29 yl on 4th down and we punt it off. WSH gets it back going down on their 41 yl on a nice run, but Manny gets in a tackle for a loss to their 40 and a Roguey "The Stealthy" swat forces a punt as we get it back. Possessions exchange a couple times as neither of us can get close to the 50 yl. On one of WSH's possession over the halfway mark Manny von Carstein causes a WSH injury as he levels the runner dislocating the shoulder as they have to punt it back...

Oyster Sauce lets it hit the end zone and takes a touchback putting us on our 20 yl. We're pushed back to our 16 as Solong "The Lobber" is sacked for a 4 yard loss as the Eagles keep the pressure up. Solong finds Vergil "The Vampire" who goes on a huge run to the WSH 17 FOR 66 FUCKIN YARDS!

Washington holds the line though still and pushes us back to the WSH 19 but Bing Lim moves us up further as he's been on fire today to the WSH 11! Washington calls timeout... The Star Dome is on their feet as one more might 'seal the deal' as Washington's Coach and Lui Doremus go over some things with their line mates and trying to settle their guys down, no doubt telling them that they can hold us here and jazzing them up for the 4th down force. The timeout is extended as the shovel crew do lines up and down the width of the field to keep the field readable as the boys get in precious squirts of hydration and exchange words of encouragement to each other. We head back to the scrimmage line as Solong "The Lobber" goes over a couple plays as the play clock keep ticking. Lining up, the boys get in position as the snap is made to Solong as he's given some good time from our D as he spots "THE JUICE"! A TOSS IS MADE TO THE BIG MAN DEEP IN THE LEFT END ZONE FOR A TOUCHDOOOOOWN!





"THE JUICE" slams it down as the boys on field run to him in congrats as the camera feed shows the Star Dome in elation as White Shark aces the extra to make it

I get my arms around the big guy and bring his head low and smack the helmet and logo on his chest letting him know he FUCKIN SEALED IT! There's no way they coming back from this.

Washington gets the kick back to their 33 yl and 24. A FUMBLE TAKES PLACE ON THEIR 12 AS THEY ARE PUSHED BACK!...but they recover it and punt it back. The Star Dome HQ fans are on their feet and rockin the stadium as it's under 3:00 to go now in the 4th Quarter.

Oyster Sauce gets the kick back going down at our 40 yl on another impressive run as Stacko Turtles gets to our 44 but we're held for a 4th down punt...WSH gets it back as the "Eagle's Nest" is quiet and in disbelief as our fans at "The Battlefield" remain standing watching the final few minutes unfold. The kick is deep and WSH has to play it on their 3 yl. They are pushed back as Lui Doremus goes down under pressure to Ultra Fan and Rienen "The Ursus" running him into their end zone and dropping him for a SAFETY for 2 pts with 1:44 remaining!

A stunning upset for Washington as the RPGHQ Shitposters ground the Eagles after a hard fought close 1st half. Bad weather setting in earlier than excpected was noticable as HQ's White Shark had trouble putting up multiple go ahead field goals with both teams punished for long passes as the wind played 3rd party adversary for the match. The HQ's trademark 'rough stuff' as witnessed all season took a backseat the last 2 playoff games as they restrained just enough to keep from incurring penalties on the field. After halftime, a concerning Kalzone "The Bomber" injury was felt on both sides as seeing him head off field was concerning to the Star Dome fans and equally as much for the Washington fans as this was witnessed before with the Shitposters as Kalzone "The Bomber" 's injury caused his team to fight all the more harder out of anger or revenge perhaps. Solong "The Lobber" filling in after the 1st half was partial relief and dread for the Washington Eagle fans as they knew the Shitposters would be fired up by this and even more determined to make up for the popular player loss which was evident as hard to find targets such as Vergil "The Vampire" and Tanner "The Juice" were found for touchdowns, after the quarterback substitution.

Washington's dominating all season run being cut short by the newcomer 'league villains' is undeniably exciting as fans from all teams around the league are wondering if this expansion team can actually go all the way or if it will succumb to the 'Cinderella story' of going all the way only to fall short. With the Las Vegas Gunners waiting and fully rested, the Legend Bowl will take place at the Star Dome as they hope to close out the 1st inaugural season with a miracle win at home to their pre-season rivals on Monday February the 9th as the Star Dome is underway with decorations and horns going off at all hours as cars pass by the Stadium.

Coach Classix met briefly with reporters for some comments after the win over the Eagles.

"I'm proud of my boys of course. Stacko Turtles, Maiden Haver and Nemesis "The Skull" putting in some good runs to combat the bad wind conditions was something to behold. Uhh.. finding "The Juice" and Cipher were challenging as the Eagles kept them under good coverage. As far as Kal goes... he's undetermined for a Monday start as of this time... Solong "The Lobber" may be starting with Metho Xetamine as backup, but we'll know perhaps tomorrow. We are excited to get this far, that doesn't need to be said. The boys are all eager to get this win as anyone would be but the playoffs is a beast of it's own and teams that make it in can often fight in a way they didn't all season so we'll try and be ready as best we can for what fight the Gunners have to offer. Fin Arfin's shoulder is doing better and he should be fully operational for Monday, we're just waiting on Kal's condition, nothing more to report than that. We'll manage as we have all season and we're ready to get "The Battlefield" noisy come Monday. Whatever the outcome we'll be back next season, thank you."

Ending the brief meeting, Coach Classix makes his way out of the meeting room as cameras snap pictures and the HQ logo touch is observed as he leaves with his Offensive and Defensive coordinators through the double doors...

Camera feeds inside the Star Dome show that the place is packed with red, white and blue everywhere. On field staff and entrance coordinators go over clipboards and talk with display and sound production crews over headsets as the final entrance at the Star Dome is finalizing. On foot camera crews walk up and down the entrance lines outside the stadium showing that fans are still pouring in as pans up and down the street show t.v screens in diners and other businesses with the game on and offering Legend Bowl deals with HQ heraldry outside the doors and up in windows. Excitement and nervousness seemingly in equal measure on faces as earlier this morning it was revealed that HQ's star QB Kalzone "The Bomber" will not be starting as his injury during the Washington Eagles Semi Final has not healed up enough to give him the 'go ahead' for game-time. The crowd notices the field crews are finally getting into positions as the Star Dome lights fade and a team video is put up on the over head 4 sided jumbotron.

The video goes over the pre-season to the end of the regular season with clips from our guys making tackles, touchdowns and the many face to face altercations and dusts ups which gets the crowd going at seeing some of their favorites. Clips of news reports regarding our behavior and accusations from other players are followed up by some still shots of Kal's face and other players caught in the moment with smiles or grins on their face during various games as if to mock and laugh it, gets some laughs and whistles from the fans. Playoff highlights from the games against the Corsairs and Eagles get some louder roars as the narrator continues an inspiring speech as some more shots of fans in HQ face paint, and costumes show on the screen. The narration ends with one final sentence showing in text as the screen shows the Gunners logo fading in... " One more remains... " as the stadium erupts in one of it's loudest serenade of boo's to date. The Gunner logo fades out as the speakers come to life once more for the entrance music as teams along the entrance tunnel drum along to the beat...

The boys come out in the 'spear' for the final time this season with Solong "The Lobber" behind the 'spear head' as the place comes alive as we make our way out onto 'the Battlefield'. Many of our boys have some form of war paint on in red and blue smears in varying designs as white over head flood lights guide them to our sideline. QB Montogomery Farlow makes his way out shortly after to a nother barrage of boo's as both teams settle in to their sidelines. Many close conversations taking place on both sides as the noise makes it hard to hear anything mere feet away. Cameras catch Kal up in the team/owners box in a suit with hands clasped together and elbows on the ledge as he watches on. The music fades and the announcer asks everyone to rise for the national anthem as helmets are popped off and the stare downs from across field commence.

Both Quarterbacks make their way back to the sideline as we get our receiving line out and QB Farlow gets his kicking crew out. The crowd is rocking as players line up in position with the Gunner kicker looking to the ref for the 'go ahead'. The ref whistles and the ball is crushed up into the air as Element "The Watchman" tracks it as our boys get in front of him ready for the first assault from the Gunners. Element snags it out of the air as the Legend Bowl game is underway...

Element "The Watchman" gets the deep kick to our 20 yl before going down. It's a rough start as we're only able to get up 2 yards to our 22 by Maiden Haver as we have to send it back early. The Gunners get their first possession in doubling-up the yard startage to our 43 yl. A toss over middle left is swatted away by Rand "The Shade" as he and Rienen "The Ursus" rush QB Montogomery Farlow and he has to toss it away quickly. Vegas gets to our 37 and goes for a long bomb up left field but Roguey "The Stealthy" swats that one away as well saving a potential touchdown as they get the kicker out to put up 3 pts on the board early.

But the field goal attempt drifts slightly right and falls short of the horizontal which gets the crowd animated as we swap out players to take over on our 37. Boon Taker gets us to our 41 followed up by a HUGE RUN by Stacko Turtles all the way to the LV 32 which gets the fans noisy.

Boon Taker gets in another to the LV 30 and Maiden Haver a 1st down refresh to their 20 as the fans can feel one coming. Solong "The Lobber" finds Bing Lim for 8 yards to the LV 12 and Element "The Watchman" just has it swatted away from him in the end zone as we're held for 4th down. White Shark puts up the 3 pts and gets HQ on the board as we prepare to send it back.

Las Vegas gets the kick back to their 23 yl with Loregamer getting in a tackle for a loss of 5 yards pushing them back to their 18 yl with a crowd pumping SACK from Bertram pushing them back even further to their 10 yl. They are held for 4th down and can't get anywhere so they send it back as the crowd applauds in appreciation at the back to back yardage loss plays.

Oyster Sauce chugs this one in nicely all the way to the LV 33 with Solong "The Lobber" finding "The Juice" for an immediate 1st down at the Vegas 18.

Solong finds "The Juice" once more as he shoulders one in to the 4 yl as the crowd is on their feet at the double 1st down. Pushed back to the LV 7 on the next play, Solong makes a fake handoff and spots Maiden Haver just up right as he loses his defender for just long enough to get the hands out and catch the toss FOR A TOUCHDOOOOWN! White Shark nails the extra as we get ready to send it back.

Vegas stays focused looking as they get the kick back going down at their 30 yl. They get in a small rushing play to their 33 for a small gain which they should know better to try, from our low Rushing Yards allowed stat. The crowd comes to life once more as Bertram gets SACK #2 on QB Montogomery Farlow as they are held to 4th down and have to punt it off. We exchange possessions a time each with neither of us able to get past the 40 yl with Maiden Haver almost getting a nice 1st down near the 50 yl that's just out of his reach at the sideline and The Gunners taking an injury as Val "The Moofia Boss" held him up nicely, messing up the Vegas defenders stride before the quarter comes to an end at the 50 yl.

Taking back over at the 50 yl after the 1st Quarter break Vegas is held to nothing as Lord Rumbles gets in a 4th down forcing swat as we get ready to receive the punt back.

The Vegas punt back to us takes a lucky bounce out of bounds forcing us to start at our 5 yl. Maiden Haver gets us a 1st down to the HQ 17. Nemesis "The Skull" can't get much of a run going as he only manages to squirm his way through mid to our 19 for only 2 yards. Solong's next toss is almost intercepted as we're held for 4th down and have to send it back.

Vegas returns the punt getting to the HQ 45 and 34 as it's barrely brough over the 'mark' for a 1st down refresh. Vegas gets the crowd anxious as a receiver goes on a crushing run up right with multiple HQ'ers hot on his tail with Lord Rumbles finally getting the hands on him at the last moment bringing him down at the HQ 0... right at the end zone.

They quiet the crowd though as they are determined to get it in there and just barely get their runner in over the line for a touchdown... The extra point is good as we get the kick return line out there to get the ball back.

Element gets us to our 30 yl as he shoulders away 2 blockers for a few extra yards which stirs the crowd back to life at the display. Boon Taker gets in 6 yards to our 36 but it's still hard to find Cipher "The Maverick" up center as Vegas has him double and even triple covered preventing him from taking off...

Element is found again for a 1st down to the LV 46 with Boon Taker to the LV 38. Val "The Moofia Boss" causes another Gunner injury as he holds up his assignment who overexerts and causes some leg damage. Val is having a great game on D so far as the crowd lets him hear it upon seeing the replay. Solong is able to snap a quick one to Cipher "The Maverick" for 6 yards to the Vegas 28 for a 1st down refresher. We're held to 4th down though... as "The Juice", Stacko Turtles and Boon Taker's intended receptions are all swatted down as Vegas is keeping our passing game in check fairly well so far. White Shark gets out to put up 3 to end the drive as we get set to send it back.

The Gunners go down at their 34 on the return with Manny von Carstein getting in a SACK on the following play which gets the crowd roaring. He plays up the crowd instead of lingering overtop of Farlow as the boys get some taps in on him as he makes his way back to the scrimmage line. Vegas is held to nothing after this and has to punt it back which keeps the fans loud as they hope it has QB Farlow rattled.

Unfortunately the hype is cut a bit short as after taking a pass, Boon Taker is brought down badly on his side as he couldn't brace properly in time for the Gunner tackle... He's helped up and able to walk on his own as med staff escort him back through the tunnels to get looked at and assessed...

Play resumes with Maiden Haver getting a 1st down to the LV 34. A dust up finally takes place as Vergil's helmet is popped off after going down with hands flying for face masks and fistful's of jersey's held and yanked around as the crowd comes alive. Val, Gerey, and Tweed stay around Solong and keep an eye on the scrum as Maiden Haver has a Gunner by the collar of his chest protector from behind with another Gunner attempting to get Maiden off of him. Opium Den and Noone Atall keep a couple Gunners busy and at arms length while "The Juice" controls himself enough to only keep the Gunner who dislodged Vergil's helmet by his face mask and giving it a few light shakes to test the strap strength presumably... exchanging some mask to mask words in close before shoving him away. Play takes several minutes to resume as some lingering altercations of words are spat back and forth as refs stay in between attempting to direct players back and away for some distance from each other. No penalties are handed out as they off set with Maiden Haver's collar grab and the Gunner on him attempting to do the same being the worst culprits. Held to 4th down we send it back with 3:50 to go in the 2nd Quarter.

Vegas gets it back with the crowd still noisy to their 34 yl with a rocket pass up right for a 1st down to the HQ 42 as they are determined to squash the momentum. Another nasty toss is made over left this time as the Gunner gets to the HQ 12.

Bertram gets in a stop at the 12 and Atlan Tico a swat at our 10 as we're able to hold them thankfully as they go for a field goal to end the drive. It's good for 3 as we get set to get it back.

We can't get anything going though on the posession as we're held to only the HQ 30 as The Gunners are resilient, forcing us to send it back with under a minute to go now in the 2nd Quarter. The Gunners get the kick back going down at their 46 yl with a couple short tosses to push their way up field in hopes for a late TD or 3 pts to end the quarter... but an INTERCEPTION BY SPELL SWORD takes place and squashes that idea as he gets it back for us, going down at the LV 42!

With the crowd pumping, Solong gets a toss in to Vergil "The Vampire" for a 1st down to the LV 25. We get pushed back to the LV 28 but "The Juice" muscles a short one in right back to the 28 with Maiden Haver to the 22 as the clock keeps ticking down under 20 secs. White Shark puts up 3pts to end the drive as we send it back to Vegas. The quarter ends with Vegas at their 39 yl but after Half-Time we have to send it back anyway on a kick off. Both teams make their way out through the tunnels for some rest as the half-time show is prepared at center field with HQ in the lead: 16-10.
