Again, you'll have to go game by game. It's not proper to label an entire multiple decade spanning franchise since the games vary quite a bit in content and tone.

She's not particularly strong in the early ones that I remember. Take away her guns and she's helpless. She also dies to run-of-the-mill thugs and animals pretty easily.
