The survival horror game Siren 2 did this. But they were doing it for the unique gameplay possibilities. While playing as the blind character your screen is dark, but you can hijack sight of other characters, who want to kill you, and see yourself from their perspective. Also you can see through the eyes of your dog if I remember right.

Another one of his powers is a complete lack of personality, because the writers wanted a black Spider-Man, but are deathly afraid of offending the ******* by alluding to the fact Miles might not be perfect in every way.

2023's mass eradication of the games industry continues with reports of layoffs at Sony Interactive Entertainment and PlayStation Studios. It's unclear how extensive these losses are - Sony have yet to provide comment, at the time of writing - but they appear to include staff at PlayStation's Visual Arts studio, based in San Diego, which supports developers like The Last of Us creators Naughty Dog and Spider-Man 2 creators Insomniac.
