Hello! This is just to share mods I make for anyone that might find them interesting. Will update as I make, if I make, more. Anything I add for myself, I will add here just to share

I edited the audio and might revisit it in the future, but am not sure. I just wanted to make it for fun. The music plays entire after the edited intro, so if you might have long loading screens, you will get to hear more of the music

There is a mod on Nexus that does the same but it approaches the music differently than what I wanted and it has, at the time of writing, stopped working due to recent patches.

Ego Death Ship Ambience music
This file replaces one of the two (the quieter) musics of the ship ambience with this Ego Death

Not sure if I myself might use this one in the end as, as detailed in the video, it is beautiful for planet observation, but it doesn't really marry all that well with the rest of the ship. The other musics on the ship (of which there are three in total plus the replaced one) and ship entrance are not replaced. Am still unsure how are they picked, if they are picked, or if they cycle, but Ego Death played every time I would load the game.

No you don't. I both have mods on AND use an external cheat to spawn in super credits for myself or give myself infinite HP and shoot 10,000 rounds a second when necessary. They haven't bothered patching out the ability to do this for 2 years

The anticheat is a complete meme and was likely added just to say they have one. And they haven't cracked down on modding yet, so they likely never will

Yes, it's an intrusive kernel level anti-cheat. Getting around it seems easy though; You can find ton of undetected cheats for games with GameGuard. The fact it's so intrusive yet doesn't detect what I'm doing is hilarious

It is concerning we have to opt into it basically having full access to our system just to play the game. We just have to hope Arrowhead never has a data breach. It's quite lame and gay, but I like the game so I play it anyway

Client-side anticheat doesn't work, it's just a bandaid slapped on to games vulnerable to client-side cheating.

I'm close to switching myself, just haven't researched enough how seamless it'd be and if all my programs would work. I'm very used to Windows filesystem and have a workflow

I am not ******* upgrading to Winjeet 11, so that will probably be my last straw
