Funny how "everybody" seems to hate Udina. While yes, he was kind of a typical politician scumbag, mostly for backstabbing and grounding Shepard in the end. But even that was understandable from his point of view.

Apart from that, he always had humanity's interests at heart and stood up for them, plus his powerplay if you sacrifice the council in the kino secret conversation with Anderson to make humanity the top dawg of the galaxy was super based, especially his ending monologue.

Also, his voice actor is insanely good.

Overall, he was just a true humanity first based chad. So of course all the normies and libtards hate him.
Maybe as much as I hate how Bioware ****** him over later. Him going from believing the Reapers are real and that there's a war coming, to him making a 180 turn in ME2 was total crap. Imagine how cool it would have been if after the antagonism between him and Anderson in ME1, they actually became sort of bros fighting the good fight against the Reaper deniers and supporting Shepard
It's bad that humanity should want to be top dog. We should defer to our alien betters instead.

ME1 is good as a standalone game. The more you play the sequels, the more it gets ruined retroactively.
Don't get me wrong, I still really like ME2 and ME3, but they have so much issues that ME1 just doesn't have. I've been saying for a long time it's the best of the trilogy, and over the years that opinion has only grown stronger.
I used to like the whole trilogy, but the more I look back on it, the more I dislike ME2 and ME3. Like, in every aspect - the gameplay, the writing, even the visuals.

It’s no coincidence that the further into the Trilogy you go, the more mods you’ll find adding, changing, and altering things.

I won’t play ME3 without mods anymore.

I've played modded ME3 so much that I genuinely forgot that there are ******** dream sections in the game until I saw somebody post a screenshot of one on twitter.

Beat the game again, this time on Insanity, with a full-Renegade Femshep. She looks really ugly in this game, Bioware did not bother updating her ME3 model to ME1LE's new lighting system.

Image

Insanity was actually pretty easy, the only parts that caused me trouble were the first fight against krogan battlemaster during 'recruit Liara' mission, and the side mission where you fight against a dozen of biotics in tight spaces.

Renegade's ending cutscene with Udina going full-fascist was kino of unbelievable proportions. I wish ME2 continued this, but alas.

I've been doing all the side quests and I gotta say - removing the Mako sections in ME2 and ME3 was a huge mistake. The game feels much larger than it actually is if you take the time to drive around and do some side missions. Whereas ME2 and ME3 feel very segmented.

It's crazy how absolutely ****** the eyes are in the remaster.
I know I keep yammering on about this, but just LOOK AT IT!
me3 femshep in me1.jpg
This is the default ME3 FemShep modded into the original ME1.
4k resolution and 1 trillion polygon models won't make your game look better if you **** up the most basic yet essential things like the line of sight for characters.

it's not the line of sight, i believe that the characters move their pupils in the same way they did in the original. It's the eyelids that are ******.

You can tell this game was written by Libtards.

On the BDtS mission you get massive renegade for killing Human enslaving terrorists, but huge goodboy points for letting them leave to keep being terrorists.

Frankly it's ******* stupid at times.

I am enjoying the game so far though.

The problem is exacerbated by the pupil textures. The original ME1 pupils were fairly large, but they shrunk them in the remaster. This ****** up the line of sight by moving the pupils too far apart from each other.
I've sperged out about this before.

Renegade options aren't evil. You can tell because they're labeled "renegade" and not "evil".

Most often, renegade just means based. Thinking about it it's a shame nobody made a mod that replaced renegade with based and paragon with something else, libtard perhaps?

I'm like 15 hours into a Hardcore playthrough as a pure Paragon Soldier, about to do Virmire.
The higher difficulties are getting annoying now. The tech classes are starting to lag behind and the Soldier class is boring to play.
The biotics are mandatory just so you won't have to deal with some ****** soldier running around screaming "GO! GO! GO!" and "ENEMY IS EVERYWHERE!!!" while he's spamming Immunity for five minutes each combat.
I think Veteran is the sweet spot for a more casual playthrough. It's hard enough that you can't get away with being a ****** who just stands out in the open and gets turned into swiss cheese, but lacks all the annoying bullet sponge ******** enemies pull on higher difficulties.

Nominating *** Effect 2, come on guys let's make it happen!

I was going to nominate Fallout: Sonora, but it got a new content patch recently that hasn't been translated yet and I don't want people playing some gimped, unfinished version of the game.

The Cerberus logo is really hard to fit into the current badge. The four eyes is an interesting idea.
