[ 4th Quarter ]
A number of our guys are looking rough starting the 4th Quarter... nothing too serious yet but the tell-tale signs of 'flu' are apparent on a number of them but they're fighting it for now. Oyster Sauce, Tweed "The Kobold", Ultra Fan and Login Crash did not come out for the 4th quarter, they have remained in the Med Rooms with staff for precautionary concerns, @Dagothgeas5 stays out on our sideline near the benches but behind as some of our Med Staff chat with her and keep their eyes on some of our boys as they strap helmets on and prepare for the final quarter.
Taking over on our 29 yl, Kal finds Vergil "The Vampire" who gets to our 35 yl and Ninety Eight who gets to the IND 49 for a big 1st down.

Vergil "The Vampire" finds a seam up mid to the IND 46 with "The Juice" getting in a 1st down to the IND 36 and again to their 32. Cipher "The Maverick" locks on to a Kalzone missle going down at the IND 10 for another 1st down, holding the ball out ahead of him for a moment before dropping it out of his hand like a 'bomb' as the crowd comes alive as they can feel a TD coming!

Kal finds Vergil "The Vampire" who gets to our 4 yl and almost appears to go down but he runs it into the end zone as the crowd erupts but it's under review to see if his knee hit the ground and the TD is to be reversed with us restarting on the 4 yl. Eye Stabber went down on his side to make a block for that play taking an injury, which thankfully doesn't appear to be too bad as he's able to walk off field on his own.

Several minutes pass as the play is looked over from multiple angles as our Med Staff check in with the players on field to see if there's any condition changes.
A ref heads to center field with hand on his microphone device finally to announce the ruling....
" Upon further review... the HQ player did not fully go down to the knee- * CROWD ERUPTS * -therefore we have a good touchdown" as he holds the hands up to signal it!
White Shark nails the extra as we swap out lines to send it back, Med Staff diligent to check on every player heading back out onto the field and those coming back.

Indianapolis gets the kick back getting to their 27 yl as we hold them to 3rd down with Breath "The Undying" getting HIS 9th tackle in of the game to force a 4th down punt with the fans applauding in appreciation.

Element "The Watchman" gets the punt return to our 32 as he points to the tunnels and balls a fist, striking his chest for Oyster Sauce which gets a roar from the crowd. Vergil "The Vampire" gets a 1st down refresh to our 45 yl. Stacko Turtles and "The Juice" put in some nice runs chugging up field to the IND 16! as they both refresh the 1st down getting the crowd back on their feet. We push up to our 15, and 12 before having to get White Shark out there to send one up for 3 to end the drive.

Perfect all day, White Shark aces it as we swap out to send it back with 4:00 mins left to go in the 4th Quarter.
No new updates on our 4 brothers who are sick in the back Med Rooms as they haven't gotten worse at least. A few of our guys still out on the field are spraying themselves down with Gatorade bottles of water to stay 'cool' in between plays but remaining up as we get the ball up and into the air back to the Racers...
Indianapolis gets to their 25 yl with Red Seven taking an injury after dropping a runner to their 38 yl as he hits the turf awkwardly... He takes a moment to get to his feet and tests his balance and footing but is able to walk off on his own to the sideline as he gets the mouth running the whole time on the way back, clearly not happy as he doesn't take a seat but instead does a few light stretches trying to test his rotation and flexibility with a couple Med Staff members checking in with him...

The Racers get to their 48 yl as the 1st down is reviewed... It's confirmed as they make a short gain for only 1 yard a play later to their 49. The follow up play gets the crowd roaring as an

takes place as Breath "The Undying" gets his 2nd Interception of day to give it back to the HQ with 2:43 to go!

Kal gets back out onto the field as Med Staff once again check on the swapping players with a few smelling salt 'sniffs' taking place. I tell the boys that it's all but over, they aren't going to come back from this so just hold them and don't overexert themselves, telling Kal to run the clock when he can, most likely on next possession as we can't do it now. I stop him briefly before he goes out telling him to look at me and checking his eyes and face to see if he's still okay. He's alert and showing no signs of sickness thank ****. I smack his chest a couple times and send him out as I visibly get eyes on all the guys swapping out and asking them along with Med Staff for a 'thumbs up' and to look at me. All seems okay thankfully...
Kal finds Bob Tee who gets a big 1st down chug to the IND 41 but we're held and have to punt it off...
BobT_big_1stdown_IND41.png
Indianapolis can't get anything going after the punt back, only getting to their 35 with 50 secs left in the quarter... Kal runs the clock taking a couple knees as the clock expires with HQ taking game 14

Making our way off field, the boys are relieved as they head back through the tunnel, some with cold towels dripping down and water bottles squirted on top of head...
MVP of the game was: Breath "The Undying". Most notable with 2 Interceptions and 10 tackles on the day.

Fuckin wild game boys... We had a few drop as this wasn't unexpected but untimely... Thankfully we only had a few 'tap' out. Hopefully the week now in between games they can recover. 2 left to go...
