Not a fan of these conversions, they add a **** ton of autistic milsim busywork to levels that weren't originally designed for this type of gameplay.

I'm still new around here, y'all like stalker?
I love STALKER Gamma. It combines everything into a fairly straight forward package and I've rarely encountered many issues beyond the typical bugs with the engine like busy hands. The completely random **** that can happen is hilarious and makes every jump back in unique.

The last time I played, I ended up being forced to turn off the Brain Scorcher in the middle of the night, which was a ******* nightmare. I had Monolith flanking me in the pitch black with only limited night vision to cover my ***. My game crashed at least three times. They also ended up bum rushing me in waves as I crept up the hill, which meant the base itself was **** near empty when I finally arrived. One of the most brutal experiences I've had.
There was one time where me and a bandit found cover in the same place during a blow out. God that was the best fight I ever had against a human NPC. Tense, close quaters (so no grenades), using early game rifles (so accuracy was all over the place).

Sucker Punch and Sony really went out of their way to find the fattest and most fugly Asian woman they could find for their game.

I'm still thinking about Expedition 33's dev thanking a rando youtuber who wasn't at the Geoffs for teaching him game design. What a great dis it was, in front of all those game devs. I don't care if his own game was good or ****. Not as funny as the jewish kid thanking Bill Clinton, but it was good.

frog troll accepts award: I want to thank none of you, for teaching me good game design, and our players are cool, but we made this game because we wanted to play it. Good night!

Alpha acceptance speech, for the state of this industry.

Ah, but I just remembered his wife was on vacation in brazil, during his big night. 0 points for being a ****.

Devs who posture against ai now will be replacing jobs with it, until even the bitchwork that gets contracted out can be done by their models, leaving smaller teams the size of actual studios on major releases. Doesn't matter if these games are noticably shittier, because games are **** right now, and ******* still subscribe. Normies will swill their slop with a smile, and the gaslighting will be games were never better.

I really like how early PS4 generation titles look around 2016 and before. I feel like they had the perfect amount of realism and stylization combined to have unique looking games that you could recognize at a glance.

I hate it when shotguns in video games turn into confetti guns if your target is farther than 10 feet away from you.

Thats actually why I like Stalker Anomoly/gamma. You can realistically get 50 yard kills with them. Mind you, they have to be out in the open. But shotguns are actually viable in those games.

My personal loadout is a shotgun, and some sort of ranged weapon with a scope. Sometimes I can salvage a .308 rifle, and just pop heads. Then bring out the shoty when moving in. Buckshot is cheap, and its sold everywhere.

Only A Measly 14 Percent Of Steam Playtime This Year Was Spent On Games Released In 2025

One of the benefits of every platform now having an end-of-year recap is that interesting data, normally reserved for our corporate overlords, becomes publicly available. For instance, according to data gleaned from Steam's Replay, just 14 per cent of 2025's total playtime was spent on games released in 2025.

According to the data, users spend on average 40 per cent of their playtime on games released more than eight years ago. This shouldn't come as a surprise, as Dota 2, PUBG: Battlegrounds, Warframe, Grand Theft Auto 5 (Legacy) and Rust, some of Steam's most-played games, all fit in this category.

Add this to the 44% of playtime spent on games between 1 and 7 years old, and you're left with 14 per cent of playtime for games released in 2025. The reasons for this are numerous. The total playtime metric is dominated by live-service games, as players often finish a single-player game and then stop playing, but will continue to regularly play live-service games throughout the entire year.

In fact, the median number of games played by all Steam users is only 4, which means PC gamers are spending more and more time with a handful of titles rather than jumping from one game to another.

I'm interested in playing Dante's Inferno but for some reason it's one of those 7th gen games that inexplicably never got a PC port. Maybe the saudis and **** will make it happen.

It runs mostly flawless, from what I remember, on PS3 emulator.

people laughing at him for this but aren't aware the label is only required if you're a small developer, all the big devs use AI and don't label ****

Just found out that the AI disclosure label includes AI-generated code meaning 99% of games put on the storefront since then are in violation
