Ahahaha I'm so used to knowing Grisly as a white woman from BBA then RR, i didn't even realise she was originally a nigress.
Victors clap when others succeed; Losers feel every spotlight as a personal bleed.
Since you guys are working on Florrick, this is an interesting mod to potentially integrate:
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/19763
(Vanilla Cordola is herself an armoured woman girlboss, but since she's accompanied by a pair of henchmen I hope it won't be too much effort to swap her armour for civilian noble clothes. She is a relative of Duke Eltan, I assume.)
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/19763
If your intention is to make new-Florrick competent, or just not batshit insane for that matter, forcing that encounter to happen with his personal Biff the Understudy instead would be a good idea.In Act III of Baldur’s Gate 3, Wyll’s path can take a dramatic turn. If he breaks his pact with Mizora, the devil retaliates in her favorite fashion — manipulation, slander, and vicious rumors aimed at destroying his standing in the city. This leads to a tense encounter in the Lower City: a member of Baldur’s Gate’s elite confronts Wyll and accuses him of murdering his own father, forcing the player to resolve the situation through diplomacy or force.
The issue is that the game insists on using Counsellor Florrick in this scene — even if the party saved her barely half an hour earlier, meaning she should have every reason to trust the group and no reason whatsoever to believe a random devil spreading filth. It results in a bizarre and unintentionally comical moment where Florrick comes across as naive to the point of absurdity.
But the game actually contains a fully prepared alternative NPC: Cordula Eltan. She appears only if Florrick is dead or still imprisoned.
This mod finally puts that logic to use.
What This Mod Does
✔ Always replaces Florrick with Cordula Eltan in Wyll’s Act III accusation scene — no matter Florrick’s status.
✔ Eliminates the immersion-breaking inconsistency of Florrick blindly trusting Mizora’s lies right after being rescued.
✔ Restores narrative coherence by using Cordula, a neutral city official with no prior connection to the party.
✔ Keeps everything else untouched — the confrontation plays out exactly as intended, only with a character who actually fits the situation.
(Vanilla Cordola is herself an armoured woman girlboss, but since she's accompanied by a pair of henchmen I hope it won't be too much effort to swap her armour for civilian noble clothes. She is a relative of Duke Eltan, I assume.)
Is... that a white chick with an afro hairstyle in the thumbnail? She looks like ******* Sten from DAO.

This game works great as a parody, like a Monty Phyton sketch of better games.

I am so ******* hyped. I can't imagine playing without NoAlphabets/RealmsRestored, this will be a perfect addition to my load order.
It's funny, because BG3 is by far my most played game on Steam despite the fact that I don't particularly like the story, characters and I'm extremely put off by woke garbage. Pretty much the only thing I like about this game is running encounters and modding the combat to run more encounters (unpopular opinion, I like the 5e ruleset more than anything else I played, even though I despise how WoTC ruined the setting/aesthetic of DnD).
I'm so hyped, that I might shill for the platinum a second time.

This is a BETA release that we’re hoping to update regularly based on feedback and reports.![]()

The voice lines, visuals, and NPC names have been modded, but we still have to update voice lines referencing the character, pronouns in dialogue selections, and journal entries.
- Devella Fountainhead was separated from the main 31 NPCs because she has by far the most interactions with other NPCs, journal entries and will be the most incomplete character conversion out of all of them
- Liara Portyr has a restoral option because that character was mentioned in a D&D book
Here is the French Translation for it.
We are the servants of ModHQ, weilders of the modding tools, the woke mind virus will not avail you, HR fodders !
On the topic of Mol rescuing Dark Urge from Jaheira... It's not just Mol being a girl that's silly. It's that we're rescued by a child. So this mod here: https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/18943 fixes that. It'll always be Marcus who intervenes, even if you didn't raid the grove (which you would never, you monster!)
I feel like some of the children including Mol should be turned into teens. I've seen some fruity looking heads meant to be adults in nexus that could fit the bill..

I would change the more prominent ones leaving the mute one and the one that draws you a picture as childrenCheesusCrust wrote: ↑ December 13th, 2025, 17:17which ones?orinEsque wrote: ↑ December 13th, 2025, 17:10I feel like some of the children including bool should be turned into teens. Time to start my next playthrough. I envy you people who get to be surprised without knowing the behind the scenes of it all...It's like listening to Master of Puppets for the first time.
It actually flows better story wise as well, because on my first playthrough, when Marcus intervened into my conversation with Isobel I genuinely went "Who the **** is this guy? They are talking like I'm supposed to know him".Seristina wrote: ↑ December 13th, 2025, 14:01On the topic of Mol rescuing Dark Urge from Jaheira... It's not just Mol being a girl that's silly. This mod is also not unpacked. How can I translate the mod? Can you upload files for translation?

Jingle Jangle Jingle
Is dialogue tweaked a bit too? A lot of these girls have that *girl boss* flair with their speech.
I use programs bg3-modders-multitool 0.13.4 and LSLib v1.20.3 . Both programs write that there is a syntax error. Has it been determined how many NPCs will be changed in the end? I remember lineless ones were already changed by RR or NA.
Lineless were swapped in RR, correct.roldet wrote: ↑ December 16th, 2025, 21:27Has it been determined how many NPCs will be changed in the end? I remember lineless ones were already changed by RR or NA.
Even though first released already covered 30+ characters, there are for sure at least 30 more.
Should be more so filler characters, with not a lot of lines, save for couple characters with more work like swapping Mol and Mattis, or working on Nine Fingers.

Found a bug. Just installed it and I thought I had made an error but Zarys seems to be the only one affected so far, the knight at the burning inn is successfully changed. Doing my maiden playthrough of BG3 now, been waiting for the game to finally be de-shitified, I mean, de-wokified. If I find other stuff I will post some more.
This looks like a really old and definitely unused version of Zarys.Doge wrote: ↑ December 16th, 2025, 22:37

Just to confirm, you have all the pre-requisites from RR installed as well -- Aesthetics, Swaps, Heads?
Here's a list that existed for De-GB when thread was still in the Foundry. I marked NPCs that were already changed.roldet wrote: ↑ December 16th, 2025, 21:27Has it been determined how many NPCs will be changed in the end?
If you want to add more, just report your girlboss findings!

Thanks for the list. That is bummer some RR girlballs you put effort will also be changed. RR Florrick was good. (maybe restore option can be given) Other than that;
How about three thiefling women guarding the Grove above the portcullis?
Also maybe you can change "sisters" to "brothers" in this fable?

While it would be nice to change Florrick, this character by far has the most interactions with NPCs, the most mentions, the most journal entries, etc. So she definitely will be de-girlbossed last, if ever lol.roldet wrote: ↑ December 16th, 2025, 23:14Thanks for the list. Tiefling women will be added to future changes. Rikka, Kaldani and Pandirna. Maybe two of them can be swapped safely, it will depend on the dialogue.
And book entry is a lovely catch, thank you! I will add it to the list as well!
Yeah and in regards to Pandirna there is also this;ModdersHQ wrote: ↑ December 16th, 2025, 23:32While it would be nice to change Florrick, this character by far has the most interactions with NPCs, the most mentions, the most journal entries, etc. So she definitely will be de-girlbossed last, if ever lol.roldet wrote: ↑ December 16th, 2025, 23:14Thanks for the list. "Pandirna was married to Almara, who passed away prior to Act One. In letters to her late wife, Pandirna expresses regret in not being able to prevent Almara's death. She now feels obligated to protect the people around her." https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Pandirna
Very good catch. We just might de-girlboss her, edit journal entry and then kill 2 birds with one stone -- works both for NA and De-GB.roldet wrote: ↑ December 17th, 2025, 01:40"Pandirna was married to Almara, who passed away prior to Act One. EDIT : Orin said that wife part was swapped for husband in NA, but considering De-Girlboss did not exist at the time, we can make Pandirna into a male and then diary entry mentioning dead wife can be restored as it will make more sense.

It would be a good idea to publish this mod on the nexus for players who don't know of this website. Of course, it would require of a bit of a name and description change but I think it can avoid the nexus ban hammer with a bit of rephrasing. For example :
"BG3 – Character Role Variants"
Description
This mod provides an alternative configuration of NPC authority roles in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Certain leadership, command, and decision-making positions are reassigned to different characters, offering a variant narrative flavour for players interested in experiencing the game world from a different structural perspective.
No new dialogue, quests, or balance changes are introduced. This mod is purely cosmetic and narrative in nature.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This would make it very hard to moderate. Zero ideology. Purely descriptive.
