This is why I stopped using GOG honestly, these people absolutely despise you. One day they'll take away your games and **** you over like EA does, i recommend downloading everything you bought as an installer and just storing them on your hard drive like I did. I only bought 7 games thankfully and they were mostly old ones.
Likelihood of that being the fate of Steam after Gabe is gone?

Even when only interacting with digital representations I still find them disgusting, possibly moreso because I know why they're put there.
Makes me question the efficacy of exposure treatment, normalization, etc., concepts. By all libtard measure I should be an obedient libtard right now but constantly seeing ******* in medieval settings, *******, etc., did not do that

I'm a zoomer tired of it all. I learnt what gay meant when I was 12, first heard it as an insult but it didn't make sense to me. Felt like calling me an airplane as an insult. Just didn't make sense, I was a lib **** way back then (courtesy of consooming hollyweird). Fast forward 12 years, if I see ANY guurrlboss black gay **** in anything, it goes to the blacklist. Foid nig *** exhaustion is so real gng. KCD2 truly was the final straw.

Also funny enough, I was religious back then now I'm atheist. Yet I'm rooting for retvrn to religious morality.
You don't need religion to understand that:
  • stealing is wrong;
  • behaving like modern negroes is bad;
  • gays, lesbos and all that filth is a degeneracy that must not exists
Maybe you should develop a standard for what is moral and just and then get a group of people to agree to this and hold to it without question?

but wait... if it is merely "man" defining such, why shouldn't any "man" or well... "woman who thinks they are equal in understanding to man" do the same? Why... wouldn't we just evolve to various peoples proclaiming one right over another, one justice over another and what is to stop them from being right? I mean, those who proclaim such are merely man right? Is man infallible? Certainly others could come to a better understanding than those before them right? You know... because they have lived in more advanced times, experienced more advanced things? Shouldn't they be better to decide what is "right and just" over those before them?

Would not these people also seek to disavow themselves from that previous thought, to even kill to achieve their differences?

So tell me, what benefit did "man" who believes in nothing but his own ego achieve in such a resolution over that which subscribed to a higher power?

You digging too deeply on this. If somebody questions basic things like "stilling is wrong" he obviously wants nothing good with this.

The point is, a standard to which all prescribe to at a level to which NONE can deny is far better than a culmination of "beliefs" founded by agreement to which any can object to.

There is a comfort in the belief in a higher power, a means to which no amount of objection can deny, it is a means to which disagreement is not an option, only subservience and to which all can be measured to regardless of their position.

While religious societies can be corrupted (and often shown easily as such), the fact remains that it has to be "corrupted", not simply disagreed with.

You can take an atheist society where rules, concepts, etc... have been argued into complete logical means... laws of reality, etc... but all it takes is a "disagreement" to provide legitimacy (if we are talking about a society of logical and respective evaluation). Even logical concepts can be "tainted" through illogic and this can manifest itself through various means.

That is not to say it is any different to the heretic that questions, but they must question a divine order, overpower themselves as being above divinity, equal to those above that of the populace. Not impossible, but much more difficult to achieve.

My point is, man based "guides, rules, laws, realizations..." are simply man ponderings and while worth while depending on their topic and result, are simply... the meanderings of man to which hold NO weight in the face of men who see injustice by them, and make no mistake, man WILL fail on this front.

It is only by spiritual means to which standards are held untouched, that rulers are held accountable and to which no concept of right or wrong can be "adjusted" by those of power without lying about that authority.

I can look right now to the Bible and show you that most of those who proclaim themselves "speakers of truth", "servants of God", etc... are lairs, manipulators, false prophets in violation to the teachings.

If they are the ones who "write" the teachings, who am I to argue that "Great Men" of power dictate changes in the rules to which they proclaim is best for all?

Peace does not come from men, it comes from God and those faithful to his teachings.

Is stealing wrong? From a materialist, secular viewpoint:
It's good for my clan to steal from your clan because it makes us stronger. It's bad for your clan to steal from my clan because it weakens us and you might outcompete us.
It's good for me personally to steal as long as I don't get caught because it makes me stronger without losing social support. To maximise personal gain, I should tell others not to steal while doing so myself.

Thus we reason ourselves into being niggerjews. The only rational reason not to behave like this is because the world is not purely material or arbitrary.

Big "if you not get caught". Consequences must outweigh positives for stealing. Also, i thought our society lived clan system along time ago, no use to compare primitive societies to developed one.

Valve is a private company. The owners can will or sell it to anyone they want. They can even establish a trust governance where certain policies are mandatory for future operators.
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.
Reject your retarded-wing political programming and learn to think.

Materialist, secular viewpoint would understand that society is not one person and that these hypothetical gains from stealing evaporate when applied by any significant portion of the population.

Maybe just argue from your own viewpoint because you don't seem capable of thinking outside of it.

The effect of a society where everybody pirates is that AAA would cease to exist and the games industry would work like Eastern Europe. I consider this a good thing, since Slavjank consistently outperforms AAA slop, so I see no problem.

And if buying WAS owning, then pirating still wouldn't be stealing. Piracy is NEVER stealing because it is just copyright infringement!!

It really pisses me off that people are constantly repeating this nonsense everywhere. It is just as meaningless as the modern interpretation of the word literally.

Edit: typo

They don't, though. Instead, you get a world where the people who are best at stealing are ruling over everything else and preventing other people from stealing from them by force.

Also, this happened.

Really baffling to see that so many people really believe that copying files is actually stealing. Total brainwashing.

Pirate all you want, I couldn't care less...it's still not stealing. All piracy is is the act of copying files without paying for the license to use them.
