So they are going for the gross incompetence defense then? lol
One of the top five Monty Python sketches in the end.

"I Wish To Plead Incompetence"

Edit. I like the top comment. It was made a decade ago, and today it's a great fit: " 'I wish to plead incompetence' should be the motto of this decade. " :toot:

Hello,

we completely ****** up the design of the throne room and turned the female sex slaves into men WITHOUT being pressured to do so by any third parties. I repeat: NO ONE forced us to do this. The redesign is exactly how we wanted it to be. That is all.

Thank you for your attention.

Best wishes,
Your ****** Gothic Remake Devs

Remake of a game that was largely overlooked outside of central/eastern yurop that probably wasn't going to sell that great to begin with, not a great choice for making changes that anger the fans of the original

Par for the course for demakes. These gaming studios have essentially taken the Disney approach which is that they try to fix what they think is broken. Problem is that there was nothing broken in the originals to begin with but you see this a lot with entertainment studios that mass hire feminists to work for them. I'll like to point out the reasons they do this is because they were taught in universities to find a problem with everything and if there is no problem you create one. Basically the Anita Sarkeesian approach; "Create a problem then offer the solution".

Im just glad this is the first thing i heard about this remake, normally they give us time to get our hopes up and let a few media hype cycles turn about how they super respect the original and want it to be authentic to the og before they start showing the unisex bathrooms and uglified women.

Just a reminder that there's a fan reimplementation of the Gothic engine that runs Gothic 1 & 2
https://github.com/Try/OpenGothic

Notable con is that it doesn't run some of the more advanced mods if you use them

These are not "real" fans, wishlists have of course only improved according to the devs on their discord.

We will also have a quest of saving the poor women from their patriarchy sex slavery, because that it what Gothic is and always was about.

Not 100% confirmed but basically confirmed, directly to my face

If I had to guess, this is a situation where suits took a look at what's popular with the kids on the jewtube, saw that the Mandalore and Sseth vids on Gothic and Gothic 2 respectively (among others) were popular, and mistook that for a consensus that the franchise was somehow a cult classic. Gothic is one of those games that tons of people online love to pretend they played but haven't actually played because they're like ten years too young and can't stomach anything that came out before 2010. I'd actually put Gothic right behind Morrowind and Deus Ex in terms of games this happens with.

Gothic is as casual as it can be, unless you only play mobile slop and AAA slop for sure, but those ******* would never pretend to care about old RPG in the first place.

Oh, let me tell you about Spanish libtards. They are, perhaps, the worst of the worst. Knew one from back in my days on NMA. Arnust was his name. Guy was a total believer of social justice. He couldn't believe how I as a woman couldn't support something as noble as social justice and feminism and very much acted like your typical Reddit soyboy when it came to women in video games. I remember him trying to tell me that Anita had some great points about gaming and how better gaming would be if we follow through with Anita's talking points. Yeah, this remake/demake was doomed from the start.

We can't have that anymore. Women need to be both empowered and a victim at the same time until being one has more benefits over the other. Welcome to the world of Schrodinger's Feminist.

I think some are simply too afraid to portray certain attitudes at all. Both writers and audience no longer seem to understand that portrayal does not imply approval.

You approve of prisoners keeping sex slaves?

EDIT: I think I misread. There's nothing wrong with portraying such. It makes sense.

Being sexy is not misogynistic and neither is gomez behaviour, you don't hate what you ****.

These are concubines, they have a good live compared to the men around the camps (which we also do not count as Misandry btw.) and pretending as if they had an issue with ******* the highest status male is borderline ********.

He *is* a old german progressive and thus a ****, even though back then he wanted to be *Edgy*, it just not Edgy though, it should be normal.
