regading the "powerlevels" it depends on the setting: there are seinen that look a bit more at logic and have serious settings.

Desperados III is listed as recommended no woke content. Yet one of the very first things you encounter in this game are "gunwoman" would that not count as females as frontline combatants and historically highly inprobable? I can't find the discussion on steam, but I remember that very shortly before disappearing, Furin said something along the lines of a lot of the no-woke-content-rated games indeed having woke content in them and having been rated incorrectly. The reason Furin stated this had happened is that proving the presence of woke content in the game is easy, you just search for the exact pinpointed moment where wokeness is present and confirm the game as woke. Case in hand, it only took you 10 minutes. Proving the absence of wokeness on the other hand is impossible without just playing the whole game yourself. So Furin just took the word of the posters for it, before he realized that some/many of these were wrong.

Furin also stated that he was planning to go through the list of non-woke games himself to fix this, but he disappeared shortly after. So don't worry about going against Furin's methodology or anything like that, he was also aware of and agreed with the same issue you mentioned. And yes, many other games have been rated as not recommended due to having women in unrealistic roles and jobs.

Ive heard it has something to do with devs/publishers not updating some setting on Steam. There were apparently a bunch of games not available in Germany until those were resolved one by one. I'm guessing Activision or whoever owns it now doesn't care enough to bother.

2 games that did not add an age rating for the eu are no longer acceessible. Not a problem for upcoming or recent stuff but quite some old ones are not usable anymore
