He plays it in DOS, but I think there's a windows version available. Cool stuff.

Hi there,
I'm the author of Gates Of Integrity.
No, the Windows version doesn't include DOSBox. I developed 2 very different versions and (re)learned to be memory effective with the DOS version. ;-)

This might explain a great deal about what's wrong with modern gamedev.
And one way to improve.

You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.

Nice, don't even need the itch.io account I already deleted.
I remember this one, this is the one with the monster portraits that look nothing like the monsters they're supposed to represent—some kind of avantgarde thing.

In my D&D world, Kobolds are furry, half-feral little Goblins and I make the scalies like yor avatar into dragonkin "Draklings".
My Goblinoids:
• Kobolds - smart but pretty crazy furry little savages - unwanted mutation sometimes expressed in Gremlins (breeds true)
• Gremlins - smaller, dull-witted - bred to be servants/scut workers
• Goblins - very smart and magic aligned - creators of all the other kinds before the war that wiped out their civilization
• Hobgoblins - larger, dull-witted and servile - bred as infantry and heavy laborers
• Bugbears - large furry reasonably smart psychopath barbarians - bred as shock troops but the mutations got away from the goblin magecrafters
• Trolls - very large stupid savages - malevolent, violent, and hard to kill - created as super soldiers but got out of control - main cause of downfall of Goblin civilization (along with Bugbears and Kobolds)
