It's free, and releases on a Friday, so I'll prob download it and give it a go sometime over the weekend. I know that there was/is some general confusion about its SP mode vs MMO mode, but after I watched a few previews, I think I understand what they are going for.

I'm a bit curious how the monetization through cosmetics is going to work in the long run, though. But that's not my problem.

Edit: A quick follow-up. I know this is also supposed to be a mobile release. Hopefully, the UI isn't as god awful as Sword of Justice's.

Would be nice to try, unfortunately im not interested and don't have money to rent software, i want to own it. If the game is released on GOG, then we can talk about buying it. Baldurs Gate 3 killed my interest in european fantasy from modern devs, but i hope chinese devd will do better job than western ******.

I'll admit the Steam trailer got me interested, but I'm wary because I don't understand how it's supposed to make money and someone upthread said it's also going to be for mobile.

So far I really like the game. It's thankfully not an MMORPG and more akin to Genshin but with what seems to be Wolong like combat. World is very nice so far, as are the characters. The main character even talks in cutscenes which is very nice. They also have AI chats with NPCs to become friends. For example, there is a man who keeps drinking alcohol as if it is water and you have to convince him to tone it down. I saw someone managed to convince him by guilt tripping, that you'll force your imaginary daughter (which he doesn't know is imaginary) to be a drunkard too. Another one tried to tell him that women don't like drunkards and he basically mgtow'd.

i have not played it yet. did someone find anything woke yet? i am pretty sure i will end up in recommended cause pretty much all chinese games i played so far had nothing woke in it, i suspect the same here.

Only woke thing is the body type 1 and 2 thing which feels out of place in a chinese game.

This is indeed how Furin used to rate games. But Furin also mentioned (...I think, it's been a while) that the description matters more than the rating anyway, so don't think too hard about it

Doesnt look much different than Ubisoft slop for me, great visuals no substance, same like their animes.
