Tell me why people don't like it
Patients seem to tolerate it well with only minimal side effects being reported.

There are a few comments about it being buggy:
Europa Universalis V (2).webp
Europa Universalis V.webp

If this is the series I'm thinking of, I've heard the problem with the earlier entries has always been one of poor documentation causing an unnecessary barrier to entry... Image

I hope its good but I don't see why I'd play a new wip game instead of eu4 which they just finished.

The game is considerably different from EU IV. EU IV takes a tabletop approach to the game whereas EU V is a full fleged simulation. It is closer to Vicky II than to EU IV.

Yes, but it's a Paradox game. A freshly released Paradox game is basically an Oily Access title that is basically incomplete until about half a dozen DLCs and patches later.

I hated the tabletop approach to the game in EUIV and III because it had already left its tabletop roots by EUII.

EU languished for a long time in this tabletop approach because the guy who oversaw it seemed to think he was the next Sid Meier.

There are no leader cosmetics past the like 1600s by the way so you'll have Napoleonic Wars with everyone dressed like renaissance nobles.
Get ready to pay 10 bucks per century paragoys!
I'm just stating the facts.
Question is are you going to gargle the truth or swallow?
