Legacy of Valor

Build your kingdom, fight for glory, and forge your legend.

Legacy of Valor is a grand single-player/co-op medieval RPG that blends castle building, territory management, large scale battles, and a sweeping narrative into one unforgettable experience. Set in a realistic Middle Ages realm torn by ambition and conflict, you rise from nothing, only to risk it all. Will you rebuild your ancestral castle and protect your people as a beloved lord, or burn the world as a dreaded warlord? The choice is yours. And when the story’s final chapter is written, a limitless sandbox mode opens, letting you continue to expand your domain and shape the world long after the main quest is over.

Legacy of Valor combines deep strategy, role playing, and open world exploration. Here’s how you will forge your path:

Build & Manage Your Stronghold: Start from the ashes of your ancestral castle and rebuild it into a mighty fortress. Expand your village into a thriving town, construct workshops and farms, and manage resources to sustain your growing realm. Every building you place, from blacksmiths to barracks, isn’t just cosmetic, but vital to your domain’s prosperity. Can you create a castle town that will withstand the test of time (and attack)?

Image

Lead Armies & Epic Battles: Command your own forces in massive battles against bandit hordes, rival lords, or even armies of the crown. Train knights and footmen, equip them with weapons you’ve crafted, and devise clever tactics. Whether you’re defending your castle walls in a siege or leading a cavalry charge on an open field, combat in Legacy of Valor is visceral and intense. Prove your valor on the battlefield and watch your banner soar over hard-won victories.

Image

Shape Your Story: Legacy of Valor is driven by a strong, choice-rich narrative. You are the author of your character’s fate. Will you be a just ruler loved by your people, or a ruthless tyrant feared across the land? Key story decisions lead to branching paths and consequences. Decide how to deal with scheming nobles, how to respond to the challenges to your honor, and whether to seek revenge or redemption. Your reputation will precede you: NPCs will react to your deeds, and the world’s state will change based on your actions. Every choice writes a new chapter in your legacy.

Image

Craft, Trade & Thrive: Experience the authentic medieval life, beyond combat and castles. Craft your own weapons, armor, and provisions from raw materials. Then trade surplus goods with neighboring villages and towns to earn coin or favor. Manage your settlement’s economy: hold feasts to improve morale, hire craftsmen, and balance the needs of peasants and nobles. A thriving domain will attract settlers…and perhaps envious rivals. Can you keep your people fed, your coffers filled, and your enemies at bay?

Image

Endless Sandbox Adventure: After the main storyline reaches its climax, the journey is far from over. Sandbox Mode lets you continue playing Legacy of Valor with no restraints. Continue expanding your territory, undertake randomly generated quests, hunt legendary bandits, or wage war on neighboring provinces. Become the architect of your own medieval saga: forge alliances, conquer lands, or simply wander the open world righting wrongs. In sandbox mode, the world remains dynamic, new challenges and opportunities will keep emerging. Write your own endless chapter in the annals of Valor.

Image

Whether you prefer focusing on city-building, engaging in strategic warfare, or living out a personal story (good or evil), Legacy of Valor offers a rich gameplay experience for every kind of RPG fan.

Image

We’ve set our base funding goal to bring Legacy of Valor to life with all core features. But why stop there? With your help, we aim to expand the game’s scope and content even further. Here are our Kickstarter Stretch Goals, each adding something special at increasing funding milestones (all backers get these additions if unlocked!):

Image

Every stretch goal reached means Legacy of Valor becomes bigger and better for everyone. We’re incredibly excited at the possibility of unlocking these features and we promise to keep the community involved every step of the way. Let’s dream big and make Legacy of Valor the ultimate medieval RPG experience!

Image

Legacy of Valor is shaped by four core pillars, systems that intertwine to give players not just a story to follow, but a world to truly shape.

Meaningful Combat
Combat is grounded, skill-based, and brutal. Master timing, spacing, and stamina to survive gritty duels or command large scale battles. Every choice in combat matters, retreat, rally, or risk it all.

Kingdoms You Shape
Your lands evolve through your actions. Build and manage villages, fortresses, and entire regions. Enact laws, levy taxes, and defend your people. Every structure placed, every decision made, leaves a lasting mark.

Image

Story Meets Sandbox
Legacy of Valor blends a branching, reactive narrative with sandbox freedom. Choose your path, become a merciful ruler, a ruthless conqueror, or a wandering exile. Explore, trade, build, or destroy. The world responds and remembers.

Image

A Living Legacy
The consequences of your actions echo across generations. Create your family line, pass down lands and heirlooms, or leave behind a broken realm. Your legacy lives on through what you build, or what you leave in ashes.

Image

Welcome to a realm torn between fading honor and rising ambition, a grounded feudal world where blood, politics, and power intertwine.

In Legacy of Valor, you won’t find ancient prophecies or glowing crystals. Instead, you’ll step into a land shaped by the weight of steel and the will of those who dare to lead. It’s a world of decaying kingdoms, border wars, and fractured loyalties. Trust is rare. Betrayal is common. And legends are earned, not foretold.

Image

Every region has its own history, its own scars. From frost covered highlands to war torn borderlands, each territory feels distinct, shaped by the lords who ruled it, and the people who survived them. As you rise from a wandering exile to a lord with land of your own, you’ll discover ancient ruins, lost dynasties, and forgotten truths buried in the mud of the past.

Image

But you’re not just a visitor here.

This world reacts. It remembers. And it reshapes itself around your decisions.

Will your name be whispered with reverence, or spit with hatred?

Image

You are twenty-three years old. A young nobleman raised in the shadow of courtly intrigues and battlefield tales, tutored in swordplay and honor by the loyal knight Edran, your surrogate father.

But everything changed the night you crossed a line.

A forbidden affair with the lady of the castle. A duel demanded by the lord himself. You never got the chance. Instead, you fled under cover of darkness, branded a dishonor to the house that raised you.

Image

Now, hunted and disgraced, you uncover a truth long buried, your bloodline is not only noble, but royal. By ancestral right, lands and titles belong to you. Lands now left in ruin. A realm forgotten, waiting to be reclaimed.

To restore what is yours, you must rally allies, rebuild your estate, and rise in a world where loyalty is bought, power is taken, and legacy is forged in fire.

This is not just a tale of survival.
It is a story of restoration.
Of vengeance.
Of claiming your birthright and shaping the fate of a kingdom.

Image

Legacy of Valor blends deep role-playing with strategic domain management and epic-scale warfare. Lead your personal warband, rebuild your ancestral lands, and make choices that shape a living, reactive world.

Rebuild Your Legacy
After fleeing your noble home, you’re left with nothing but a claim and ruins. Step by step, you’ll reclaim your birthright by rebuilding your estate: construct a village, restore your castle, raise defenses, and manage production buildings.
Your decisions affect prosperity, loyalty, and morale. Govern wisely, or risk losing the people who follow you.

Lead Your Warband & Command Armies
At the heart of your strength lies your personal warband a handpicked group of companions with unique skills, personalities, and backstories. Train them, gear them up, and take them on missions and into battle.
But your influence doesn't end there. As a rightful noble, you’ll also be able to command large scale armies, recruit peasants, knights, and mercenaries to lead into open war.
During major battles, you’ll seamlessly shift between fighting on the front lines and issuing tactical orders from above. Your warband will stand by your side in these legendary clashes.

Image

Deep Roleplaying & Moral Choices, it all shapes the world around you.
Every decision matters. Whether you show mercy or cruelty, diplomacy or domination
Dialogue choices, political alliances, and moral dilemmas will affect the story, your companions, and the fate of entire regions.
Develop your character as a warrior, strategist, ruler, or diplomat. Unlock unique traits and carve out your own legend or infamy.

Image

Combat That Evolves With You
Combat is fluid, reactive, and skill based. Whether you’re dueling with blades or leading a siege with hundreds of troops, each encounter demands a different approach.
Master your preferred weapons - swords, polearms, bows and adapt your tactics as enemies grow smarter. Improve your gear, refine your warband’s roles, and use the terrain to your advantage.

Image

Sandbox Beyond the Story
When the main campaign ends, the world doesn’t. Legacy of Valor becomes a fully open sandbox where your story continues.
Expand your holdings, go on new adventures, dominate trade, or wage war across new territories. No credits roll. No limits.
Your realm, your rules.

Image

Legacy of Valor isn’t just a game, it’s a passion project years in the making by a small independent team (led by a solo developer with a grand vision). By backing now on Kickstarter, you become more than a customer; you become a crucial part of the journey. Here’s why pledging your support today makes a difference:

Bring an Epic Vision to Life: Legacy of Valor is an ambitious indie project, your backing provides the resources needed to complete development at the quality it deserves. You’re essentially a co-creator, enabling features and content that might otherwise remain only dreams.

Image

Exclusive Rewards & Early Access: Many of the rewards we’re offering, from the Collector’s Edition goodies to in-game items like the Backer’s Crown, or having your name immortalized in the credits - won’t be available after the campaign. Backing now is the only way to secure these exclusive items. Plus, select tiers grant early Alpha/Beta playtest access, letting you play Legacy of Valor before anyone else and see the game evolve in real-time

Image

Shape the Game’s Development: We believe great games are made with their community. Backers will get behind the scenes updates, access to private backer forums/Discord channels, and the opportunity to give feedback directly to the developers during production. Your ideas and input can influence design elements, balancing, even quest ideas. You’re not just buying a game, you’re helping craft it.

Image

Join a Community of Adventurers: By pledging, you join the ranks of fellow RPG lovers and Kickstarter veterans rallying behind Legacy of Valor. From sharing strategies on building the perfect castle to debating story choices (no spoilers, of course!), our community is already coming together. You’ll get to interact with the dev team and other backers, share your excitement, and maybe make a friend or two on our journey to release day and beyond.

Image

Confidence & Transparency: We know backing a game is an act of trust. Our team is committed to full transparency, with regular progress updates, budget breakdowns, and realistic timelines. Legacy of Valor is already in active development (a playable prototype and early demo exist), and with your support, we can hit our targeted release. We’re not starting from scratch; we’re accelerating and expanding an existing foundation. And if challenges arise, you’ll be the first to know what we’re doing to overcome them.

Image

In short, backing now is the best way to experience everything Legacy of Valor has to offer, and to ensure the final game reaches its maximum potential. We can’t do this without you, and we wouldn’t want to - together, let’s forge a legend!

Legacy of Valor is led by a developer Filip Husák, who’s poured thousands of hours into the game’s creation. From writing the narrative and building the world, to designing mechanics and managing the business side, Filip has been crafting every detail with unwavering passion and discipline.

This is not a hobby. This is a full-time, all-in mission.

About Filip:

Hi, I’m Filip, the solo developer behind Legacy of Valor.

My journey into game development began almost two decades ago, when my passion for World of Warcraft pushed me to start tinkering with servers, learning PHP, SQL, and C++. I ran a private WoW server where a few hundred players adventured together, and that experience taught me the fundamentals of design, coding, and how to build a world that others could enjoy. From there, I moved into level design, client modifications, and creating my own mods and patches. Looking back, those experiments sparked my passion for world building and gave me the confidence to create something original.

I studied Information Technology, specializing in Java, PHP, SQL, hardware, and networking, which gave me a strong technical foundation. I’ve been active in IT and development for over 16 years, combining my education with hands-on experience. Over the years, I’ve also gained skills in leading small teams, organizing workflows, and time management, abilities I plan to put into practice as Legacy of Valor grows into a 10 person team.

I’m from the Czech Republic, and I’ve always had a deep passion for the medieval period. Games like Mount & Blade, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and Manor Lords inspired me, but also made me realize that there’s still room for a new kind of medieval RPG. That’s why I started Legacy of Valor: a game made by the community, for the community.

What I enjoy most is that I genuinely love every part of development, coding, design, world building, all of it. Right now, I don’t really have time for anything else outside of development, family, and work, but that’s fine: this project is my dream. And the biggest driving force behind it is the community. I’m endlessly grateful to everyone who supports me, gives feedback, and helps shape the game.

In five years, my vision is clear: Legacy of Valor will be released, loved by players, and supported by a fully functioning studio that continues to build new worlds together with the community. That’s what drives me forward every single day.

“I’ve never been this locked in. I work 16 hours a day, 7 days a week, and the deeper I go, the more committed I become.

- Filip Husák, Creator of Legacy of Valor

Indie Power with Real-World Support
While the core team is currently solo, the project is backed by real partners:

Alza.cz (Largest electronic retailer in Czech Republic) - Hardware and infrastructure support

RCORE (RCORE is a Czech development studio specializing in advanced scripts and solutions for multiplayer game servers, especially FiveM)

GGBOOSTER (GGBOOSTER.cz is a Czech energy drink brand created by gamers, for gamers, offering functional, sugar free energy drinks with powerful ingredients to boost focus, performance and the gaming experience)

NEOM Music (NEOM Music is a creative audio studio producing original soundtracks, sound effects, and immersive music tailored for video games)

4BOARS (4BOARS is a creative studio focused on video production and trailers for video games)

Dozens of testers and early supporters already playing the prototype on Steam

Strong community of over 8000 members on Discord, Instagram and Steam.

Over 30 000 Wishlists on Steam.

Over 10 000 PlayTest applications on Steam.

What Happens After a Successful Kickstarter?

If the campaign is funded, the team will expand immediately.

“What started as a solo passion project is ready to grow. The foundation is built, now it’s time to bring the right people on board.”

A 10 person core development team (programming, art, animation, writing)
External contributors for voice acting, localization, and QA
Dedicated community management and support

The groundwork is laid. The passion is real. And with your help, we’re ready to build something unforgettable.

Warhorse Studios inspired us - their journey proved that passion, authenticity, and belief in your vision can build something truly remarkable.

That same spirit drives Legacy of Valor.

This game will either be a refresher after the travesty of Kingdom Come 2 and the disappointment I personally had with Manor Lords or just another eurojank game that's either takes too long to get good or blows its load to early with nothing to show for it past the refund mark. Speaking of Kingdom Come, that recommendation from Warhorse and:
Warhorse Studios inspired us - their journey proved that passion, authenticity, and belief in your vision can build something truly remarkable.

That same spirit drives Legacy of Valor.
>Passion
That ran out after the first game was a success.
>Authenticity
Like girlbosses, eating fecal matter to create a Golem for some Jew, protecting **** no matter what, the existence of Musa of Mali in the game, having gay sex with a minor (that was retroactively aged up to deflect accusations of pedophilia) despite no indication of Henry even being into Han (or men for that matter) like that, among many other things.
>Belief
That people were willing to destroy their own reputation to defend the game from any and all criticism, among other things.
If that same "spirit" drives this game, we have a circus to look forward to. Oh and the obligatory female dev being a red flag hoisted from the tallest tower.

You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.
Reject your retarded-wing political programming and learn to think.

Ah, now I do remember this one. Caught my eye as a game that just wants to be fun over anything. Doesn't look too complex so hopefully it should come out at least decent...decent is the best we can hope for these days.
