I’ve been playing Warband again since I made my RPG ranking on this forum.

There was a skirmish of five factions near my gates.
First blood raiders came and got kicked by my guards.
Then came the Holy Nation prayer day team. We prayed.
Then the samurais, who decided to help one of my dudes a day before, attacked okranites. Battle began.
While they fought, slave hunters came, attracted by the moaning of the blood raiders and began to enslave them, and then the okranites. Pallies aggroed on slavers.
Slavers brought with them half a dozen enslaved sand ninjas. When slavers got kicked, ninjas began picking their locks right on the battlefield and try to run. Literally everyone aggroed on them.

Me? I've been humbly healing everyone and chewing dried cactuses. My guards spat from the walls and commented on the new wind turbine being built.

I've been playing a map a day of the new combined release of "Heretic + Hexen", currently I've made it to E1M7.

Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders.
Episode: The city of the damned.
Difficulty: Black plague possesses thee.
Modifier: Fast Monsters.

Feels a little different than the original release, but not that bad if you don't want to spend time and mess around with setting up a port. The first few levels weren't that hard even on the top difficulty but the game did start pushing back a bit around E1M4, so I'm having fun.

I've only played their Thief and System Shock games, but those are enough to classify them as "great."

I disagree. I already considered Pillows too low lethality for my taste. The greatest problem of Encased is that combat takes forever and is trivial easy. I was playing by abusing the broken stealth...

I still don't know what genre of a game Warframe is. Is that an MMO, or a shooter like Overwatch or something?

An extraction shooter type deal where you end up farming resources over loads of different kinds of missions. Later on they added a lot of really bad ideas like arcwing, which was supposed to be flying around in space on a space jetpack kind of thing, but the original controls ate **** so they redid them...but it still wasn't much fun so people only did it when they had to. The core game was farming for parts for weapons and frames, or the resources to make said items. The problem is that DE decided to race itself to the bottom by making a bunch of terrible content that had nothing to do with being a space ninja, and a lot of really stupid storyline crap that only gets muddier the further in you go.

I first started playing when Specters of the Rail was a thing, you had to go to each...space station...thingy I don't even remember now and kill a ghost guardian frame to unlock the next system. I think they finally got rid of that at some point for some other dumb thing. Point is, almost everything past the point where I started ended up being a content island that had almost nothing to do with the core gameplay concept. Arcwings sucked, open world sucked, railjack sucked. DE has some weird idea that they need to keep coming up with wilder and crazier ideas to keep people interested, or, more to the point, attract new people. The only thing DE loves more than making lame content is alienating their veterans. It's very rare when DE caters to the group of nutters who know how to beat content into the ground, they're too busy trying to make everything shiny and new again.

Which is another problem, when I first started WF was somewhat complex. I have absolutely no clue how anyone new to the game would be able to pick up on everything there is now.
