Crazy that they're not even embarrassed by this and not a single person will be fired

Just realized I already did this on the last page, still impressed by how developers keep releasing flop after flop without any repercussions :(
Don't forget about six gorillion conclusive players on Sloppass.

The vehicle is in the ditch and kicking up mud. I don't think a map is gonna help Obsidian. When does Outer Worlds 2 release? (Oh goodness only 2 weeks away)

These are updates?
A bunch of these are basic core features.
A lot look like stuff the incompetents couldn't get finished or debugged before release.
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.

I looked into the updates.
They finished the first and second.
The first was May 15, second was July 15.
Utter silence since then, so I doubt the third update will ever be finished.
If they did anything, they haven't posted about it.

What's the point of photo mode? As a feature to connect to content outside of the game, I've only ever seen it used to make the Death Stranding Norman Reedus guy soypoint at stuff. It doesn't capture a genuine screenshot of gameplay, and games aren't that visually appealing to make desktop backgrounds from anymore.

The last patch introduced a lot of bugs and performance issues, quality control going down. Most of the effort is going into AVOWED 2.

No DLC? What the hell, Still trying to revive this game? let's guess which will come out first, Pillars of Eternity 3 or Avowed 2. Hell, Avowed makes me want to play Oblivion Remastered, that's crazy.

I don't think the 200 odd players right now would cover the cost.

I'm playing Avowed right now to see how bad it is, since it's considered "stable" while the Outer Worlds 2 is pretty buggy at the moment.
It's not an RPG, really. It's a less interactive Dark Messiah of Might and Magic set in the faggy nuFantasy Pillars of Eternity setting.
Playing this makes Outer Worlds 2 look like a MUCH better game. At least you could tell people to **** off and kill every ****** you see in Outer Worlds 2. In Avowed NPCs are literally just holograms that give you quests that you cannot refuse, not even in the fake Fallout 4 "No (but actually Yes)" way.
Also, the whole premise is ******* ********. You're playing as a "Godlike" which just means that you have some fungus growing out of your noggin. And the NPCs react like they just saw a baby with a progeria. Like, ******, there's a blue monkey man standing to the right of you and a blue lizardman standing to the left, you can't act more surprised or disgusted to see my leper face.

Yeah everything gets better if you are the cure for the world. That was kinda missing in hogwarts legacy couldnt attack npcs... and the combat was way better there than avowed.

Told you guys, compared to the other games that are releasing outer worlds 2 is surprisingly decent, I expected it to be significantly worse

Gameplay-wise, Outer Worlds 2 is alright. The writing is what makes it ****.
It's BG3 all over again.

Certainly was more fun throwing named npcs into chasm or having them fight other hostile enemies in Baldurs Gate 3 than hoardes of generic npcs in outer worlds 2. I dont see me ever replaying this. BG 3 I played for a month on and off.

And the item system is also so boring I was hoping for 3-4 slots for mods on endgame gear but there is only ever 1 slot free for helmets and 2 for armors. BG3 had at least good itemzation.

a lot of RPGs suffer from not having anywhere near enough items, having only 2-3 slots means you rarely get upgrades or they're just incremental ones

Skill issue. Successfully lobotomize your copy of windows NOW NOW NOW https://winaerotweaker.com/ :broken:
I used this for years, now tell us which option disables this garbage.
I dunno which one, figure it out. Also installed it a year or two ago so I don't remember every option I ticked.
I can tell you I'm on Windows 11 connected with my Microsoft Account and don't get that notification. :scratch-pipe:
Also I remember turning off some of these settings

There is a side quest where a courtesan asks you to get her smuggled contraceptive herbs. There is a text saying "In small doses, these herbs can prevent conception. In large doses, they can kill the child." These herbs have been illegal in your home empire for a decade.
If you confront her about it, she starts to act indignant. 3/4 options are your player character agreeing with her. The last one is about snitching on her. If you snitch on her, both of your companions vocally disapprove, with one of them bringing it up at camp later.
This makes me sick. In the Pillars of Eternity setting souls are very real. The first game dealt with the very concept of people being born without souls, where they would basically be in vegetative state. Which means a real functioning human has a soul at the very conception. So, the "clump of cells" argument these demons use IRL does not work in this game at all.
And yet all the characters act like you're in the wrong, like you're just "Killing the vibes of the place, man!" and not taking a stand against literal murder of children.
It's crazy how things have changed in a decade or so. I remember playing Mass Effect 1 and there's a side quest where a mom doesn't want to vaccinate her kid. The Renegade ("evil") choice was to convince her to do it, while the Paragon ("good") choice was to tell her that it's her decision and she doesn't have to vaccinate the baby. Fast forward a dozen years and you're getting fired (or worse) for not getting the jab.
Abortion wasn't considered the first option in society, to the point that there nearly an entire genre of movies about accidental pregnancy where the couple has to figure it out (Juno, Knocked Up, etc.). Now abortion is so ubiquitous that a man is considered abusive if he's against aborting his child.
The modern world is a ******* hellscape.

Technically, POE1 never stated when the soul is entering a new host. There were a lot of quite heated discussions, but no official answer. So, as disgusting as the quest is, no lore breaking here. I could also argue that brothel is no daycare - and if anywhere in the universe, this is one place where contraceptives are needed. DAO put it better - children of whores will serve in the very same brothel for the entertainment of pedophiles (Zevran's story). Not the best outcome for a child.

I thought seeing ******* speak French made me mad, but turns out it could be worse. There could be an entire setting with "We Wuz Ayytalians n shieeet!" type of *******. Vailia is basically Haiti where they killed all the Whites and are walking around in their clothing.
And what are they famous for (aside from looking like the blackest gorilla ******* (the town mayor looks like that Somali ****** who ran for mayor in Minneapolis) while wearing Italian clothing and speaking the Italian language)? Well, practicing voodoo, of course.
The first thing you see when you arrive at the second map is a farm where an Italian-speaking sheboon is using zombies to plow the fields. You know, basically slave labor, except even more profane. And these zombies go on rampages from time to time.

Technically, Zevran was written by a ****** who only wrote characters reflecting his own sick ideological fantasies within his time in Bioware and I couldn't give a single **** what that ****** writes. The fact you could kill or tell Zevran to **** off multiple times and him also betraying you indicates the developers saw him as the most expendable and pointless companion that wouldn't mix well with the others. And that's correct. You focused on the most degenerate aspect of DAO written by a ****** to prove this point. I'd rethink the argument.

While it's not stated in PoE1, the assumption is that the soul is never being guided into the child within the womb, thus they are born without a soul. The exact process is irrelevant, the act is evil and must be stopped. But if we must, you can just go off of the dialogue from the Grieving Mother, who indicates that the birth is normal by all accounts except what is being delivered. No soul departs at the exact moment of birth, we never get any accounts from NPCs to suggest that. They are already gone.
