Save very often. Make a manual save before every crafting session, or else you'll end up like me - wasting about 25 units of Magnesium powder on making Magnesium grenades instead of using Gasoline. That's a lot of Flashbangs that I can't make.
Now, why don't I just reload? Because I reorganized all my inventory and crafted a **** ton of medicine before I carelessly went to craft some Molotovs and wasted all of my Magnesium instead.

You should buy blueprints even if you already know them. They weigh very little and a lot of merchants buy them for quite a bit of money. This can help you get a better deal for that sniper rifle that you crafted that costs 35k and nobody can afford to buy with pure coin.
Carrying a ton of USB sticks is easier than lugging around a dozen firearms too.

Buy? Is it possible to get profit from reselling blueprints?logincrash wrote: ↑ October 20th, 2025, 13:55You should buy blueprints even if you already know them. They weigh very little and a lot of merchants buy them for quite a bit of money.

blueprints, ammo, grenades, lightweight PSI headband/energy shield/electronics parts and repair kits is the way to go if you want to get rich.Tadeusz wrote: ↑ October 20th, 2025, 14:17Buy? Unless a game is set in a contemporary modern era, bartering should probably be completely valid and I'm tired of RPGs minimizing trade/economicswndrbr wrote: ↑ October 20th, 2025, 14:57blueprints, ammo, grenades, lightweight PSI headband/energy shield/electronics parts and repair kits is the way to go if you want to get rich.Tadeusz wrote: ↑ October 20th, 2025, 14:17Buy? Clicking the very corner of the map while on a jet ski allows you to travel diagonally. This will save you couple of seconds of not having to sit through zone transitions.

Also, this zone has a bunch of respawning electro spiders in the basement that you can farm for 900 something XP should you be inclined to do so.

We have plenty of options for the badge already. I guess now it's up to the powers that be to choose one from them.rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ October 20th, 2025, 20:03wait did you guys agree on a badge yet so logincrash can be barred from getting it?
Everyone except me seems to like the oddity icon. We'd be better off with it being Eiden or the generic redhead dude wearing the nightvision goggles.rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ October 20th, 2025, 20:03wait did you guys agree on a badge yet so logincrash can be barred from getting it?
This variant by @Tadeusz appears to be the sweet spot based on feedback/engagement. I also like that it is differentiated from the other badges in terms of color palette.rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ October 20th, 2025, 20:03wait did you guys agree on a badge yet so logincrash can be barred from getting it?

I put this Oneyplays video in the background as I'm retrieving stashed loot and doing merchant runs:
And the game they're playing has the exact same sound effects (night vision toggle, electric switches, etc.) as Underrail, so I keep getting confused, thinking I've activated something in-game.

Core City has the same background noise as Sigil on one NWN2 server. Surprised me as well. I guess there's some library of sounds that Underrail uses.logincrash wrote: ↑ October 22nd, 2025, 08:40And the game they're playing has the exact same sound effects
^This is bs. We all know that Styx has a very autistic attitude against cheating, so if the classic xp mode is available in the game it isn't considered cheating.rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ October 20th, 2025, 19:58classic xp is cheating, you've been barred from getting the badgelogincrash wrote: ↑ October 20th, 2025, 17:29Also, this zone has a bunch of respawning electro spiders in the basement that you can farm for 900 something XP should you be inclined to do so.► Show Spoiler
I nominate Gothic 2 for November. Hopefully some of you finish this pixelslop in time so it's not just Tweed and I.

I just recently infiltrated the institute of Tchort but I guess there's still a long questline (or several) ahead for me. Not sure if I can make it in time.CornCake wrote: ↑ October 23rd, 2025, 04:04Hopefully some of you finish this pixelslop in time so it's not just Tweed and I.

I haven't even visited any of the faction strongholds in the Core City. I haven't even explored the residential level.
I've just been exploring the rest of the Underrail, hoarding loot.

This game is huge, I guess I'll be playing it the next month too. I have some unfinished quests in the main area, a lot of areas to explore and DLCs I'm yet to begin.
By the way, does anyone know if the devs are still working on the new content for Underrail?
