LONG LONG TIME in a far far ... this software is very slow )))

And again me. )))
Anyone please ask:
1. wabba - all files download, all ok.
2. long time to do somthings ... and reach step to build BSA ... i have error (file .dds not found in /TEMP_BSA_FILES/...) but no one downloaded archive not contain this .dds file..
3. i found this file in modlist, some investigation and detect this file inside "Skyrim - Textures5.bsa"
4. unpack from "Skyrim - Textures5.bsa" in correspond folder inside /TEMP_BSA_FILES/... and ask wabba to RETRY...

and againg 8 hour this soft do many action ... SEARCH for empy ... bla bla bla ... to long ... ))
and again error with other BSA file (of course again from "Skyrim - Textures5.bsa" ))))

after this i go to this forum ... my question, what wabba do...

unpack "Skyrim - Textures5.bsa" when prepera data to TEMP_BSA ... ?
or
when create BSA get from "Skyrim - Textures5.bsa" ?

files "Skyrim - Textures5.bsa" exist inside mod folder "Cleaned Skyrim SE Textures" ...

p.s. wabba 3.6 not save all to log file, strange... i see in wabba string: missing DATA_skyrim - "Skyrim - Textures5.bsa" this could be caused by missing DLC .... why ?

p.s.s. what quick ? before start INSATALL delete folder TEMP_BSA... mods ? or just start INSATALL ?

3 day play in this game ... (not play game, play game like install - error - install again)
i got JQ util, unpack modlist and convert JSON to CSV file (planned write my own install) ... but ... my mind say ... for what? ))

i install game STEAM AE .. have all files "C:\The Elder Scrolls - Skyrim" + all CC, when i select game folder "C:\The Elder Scrolls - Skyrim" alway have missing data-textures ... maybe must write path to DATA folder ?

i try install inside inside steam folder the same result - not see game files this is main reason (of course game is cracked)

I’ll investigate in a few days, but no don’t set it to your Data folder. You probably just have a bad game installation. It says you’re missing a lot of game files required for the BSA process.

Made an account just to say thank you. Your tool is everything Wabbajack should have been. For years I stopped playing Skyrim because modding it is annoying, but using Wabbajack grew more and more frustrating with all kinds of errors and the snooty nose attitude of the WJ Discord team. I particularly always had issues with the data_cc files which miraculously Wabbajack Unlocked never had a problem with, how curious that.
I never really understood why Skyrim modders are so ravenous about protecting Bethesda's money milking scheme, so it's nice seeing someone who can make a change for once.

Yall or you, whover it is, are doing god's work with this one. Currently installing a modlist for Skyrim (a game I played back in 2017 with the SE, and didn't like just like I did back in the ps3 days), but decided to now in 2025 give it another try this time with mods that look pretty cool and with Morrowind vibes (only reason I ever said I like TES). And I am in no way gonna pay a stupid page that simply HOSTS (not makes) mods, a website that BTW most reputable mod makers I've ever met in internet have left due to how predatory and ****** it is, much less buy a game I've already owned twice and been disappointed with twice too

If I like this playthrough with the Lost Legacy modlist I'm definitely buying it for christmas, or at least donating to whoever made the best mods in that list and ofc the author. It's not that I don't have the money for it, I just find it disrespectfully to buy the game ******* game over and over again. The balls Bethesda has to rerelease this MY GOD!!!!

Might be a hot take, but none of these people deserve our money, much less Bethesda which seems the authors of this program cater to, or dare I say, suck their balls. I read somewhere around this threat that I should keep hash checking on (turned it on only because it scared me... lol), which I'll do now, hopefully this fixes it.

But trying to install Lost Legacy (Skyrim) I got a lot, but a **** LOT of corrupted files. Many were not of course, but I deleted at least 40 files and they were still appear, although nothing I saw notified did ever repeat again.

This is great but I really don't know how to deal with this issue. Should I continue deleting all files that get corrupted and hoping WJ will finally install them right?

Besides that only other problem I think I am facing is that I got one missing file that I read in the logs, which was an ESL related to the creation club I think, but WJ informs me it will get installed regardless of this (even though it displays the same **** message everytime I retry the installation process).

This is the only thing standing between me and actually playing the **** thing, would be very grateful if you guys could help me. Need log or whatever, just ask

Can you try opening the Missing Files log and manually downloading them? Try doing that and download them one by one, and open them after download to check if they’re corrupted.

Yeah of course as soon as errors start popping out (I made a mistake and set the gamepath to a wrong folder, so it was throwing me crazy errors and missing BSAs, but now I fixed that ****). If anything still goes wrong should I manually install everything? I'm scared that will break something, though I really don't feel like installing that many mods haha, but no other option I guess.

Alright so finally everything installed correctly, **** this took long. MO2 starts and game goes well, I boot into the main menu and nothing looks out of place until I press new game, it starts to load and then freezes, crashing like 4 seconds later.

Any thoughts...?

Whelp, I've been playing for some time already, haven't really played much but it works well so I guess that I should get back there to write something. But honestly idk, it's a very simple installation that all you gotta do is place the crack and that's about it I think, unless I'm forgetting something I did.

All that aside wow it really impresses me how ****** MO2 is, so much game and steam verification yet no automatic backups, people over other forums and reddit, discord, whatever, like to **** in Vortex as being "inferior to MO2" yeah maybe it is because Vortex ******* sucks too but at least my entire modlist doesn't go to hell if I touch a button I shouldn't because of backups and the "restore from save" function. I've ****** it plenty of times in Vortex, like holy **** I **** it up every time I use the **** thing, but I never had to reinstall my whole modlist because of a mistake because of it. Here I do, wow, what a ****** program... Jesus it's like they're competing with Bethesda to see who is more incompetent. And yes, I am very mad because I was enjoying skyrim a lot and installed a SINGLE MOD to add to the modlist, followed all procedures to make it safe and even if it was incompatible it would only be overwritten by other mods in the list and nothing should happen... yet all my ENB settings got messed up, so did my improved camera, so did the improved dialogue camera, and every ******* thing that has a configuration file because idk MO2.

**** this program, now I gotta reinstall everything. I don't have the time to do this ********, it's like these bozos have all the time in the world to fool around whereas we have to put up with their BS.

Also: Geez I didn't knew Skyrim's ENBs worked so well, when I read this modlist came with ENB mods I thought "ah **** here go again" because of my previous experiences with FNV, thanks god no, someone actually put effort into making this thing work.

As far as writing a tutorial on installing and cracking a particular modpack, I'd be sure to include anything you had to do outside of the official install instructions, which version of Rare Curios was needed, Bethesda or Steam, which of the Creations if any are needed, the version number of the finished product and whether it was downgraded during install or not, provide links and version numbers to any files that have to be downloaded outside of WJ Unlocked, like Synthesis.zip from Github. Your WJ Unlocked logs will show you the direct link. Also, where to put the crack, every location.

Take a look at some of my posts to see what sort of info I've included, and simply do the same for your tutorial. Be sure to include the name and version of the modpack in question, right at the top of the post.

While I can get wordy at times, you don't have to write a word wall. Even a sloppy paragraph with the pertinent info could help someone.

Found a claim on Discord concerning Wabbajack you might want to know about. This guy says the latest Wabbajack sometimes deletes entire folders during modpack install.

Ah, yes you're right, I'm just mad to be honest, MO2 isn't as bad as I make it seem really. Hell I can confirm it's better than Vortex, but it's very easy to **** up if you aren't used to it.

yep, thanks for this, I will post it one of these days. Will keep all the things you said in mind, there's also a version of Synthesis (2.5.4 I think?) that has to be installed from Github, because it fails in WJ (or at least it does for me) I'll make sure to include all that stuff

FInally fixed all this BS and game continues to run well, got to start a new game, but hey it's not so bad, I was getting bored with my previous character ngl and he was pretty ugly too

Also Wolve I wanted to ask something, I'm not sure if U know but I wanted to use new Creation Club content in my 1.5.97 skyrim, is it possible? I read you can, but I'm unsure. I just want to use GHost of the Tribunal stuff because its got Morrowind content and that's ******* cool

Skyrim players don't value Morrowind enough, nuff said Thanks for the CC content, some people don't seem to like them but let's be honest if all of this was released for free they would love it.

I'll probably have to coordinate with @rusty_shackleford if we actually make Wabbajack lists with HQ mods in them. I seem to get ****** by Cloudfare on the download request. Luckily, it gives a report at the end of the failed downloads, their links, and how to manually resolve and setup your list

Hopefully you guys find usage out of this for now, though. Lemme know if there are any issues
