Same here. In the Icewind dale game there was a merchant from Calimshan, which was odd but believable. I'd also accept a ship from Chult with black sailors or a few merchants, but not the multicultural nonsense they've made now. Even Elves and Dwarves...
They can do whatever they want with a game like Pillars of Eternity, but they should leave established settings they way they were.

every time i download the mod, the game crashes, and when it does, i have to delete the entire game and download again, is there a way to delete the mod without deleting the game?
Unpack and Back up the relevant files, before you install the mod.
Right now, many mods require you to replace base game files.
It might be possible to verify the integrity of your files using steam to re-download the relevant files, and have that fix the problem, though I'm not sure.
I'm not experiencing any issues with this mod, even with 20 others installed.
The only base game file this mod replaces is English.pak. If you're replacing other files, you are installing it incorrectly, and you need to follow the instructions.

Fantasy as a genre has always been revolving around everything "European". Medieval European, to be exact, if we look at it's very core. There were no blacks in medieval Europe and barely few lived there even in a relatively modern times of the most prominent fantasy writers, such as Tolkien himself (who specifically stated that blacks live far to the south and they're evil).
So we have a genre created by white people. Based on European myths, fairy-tales and overall medieval historical period. Everything is borrowed from it -- costumes, architecture, weapons, absolutely everything. Tell me again, how in the name of a living **** is it ok to have blacks, or even asians (whom I have nothing against) in a fantasy setting? If you would make a game (or a movie) about some wild afrikan village with mudhouses and those dumb-*** negroes wearing huge plates in their lower lips, mud in their hair and bones in their noses and if you would replace half of the black villagers with white and asian people, that **** would look 100% as unnatural and laughable as what negroes look like in a fantasy setting, wearing knight armor, or wizard robes and using titles such as "Duke".
There is not a single good reason for blacks to be in a fantasy setting. NONE. And I'd really appreciate it if the author removed just all of them, maybe just for this site, since it will be then deleted on nexus for sure (I was surprised to see that they've allowed it, after all).
Now someone told me here that the author is "doing something" about all the gay npc's and companion relationships as well -- that'd be absolutely amazing, if I didn't have to see this disgusting filth in my game as well. My companions are forever tainted for me after one walkthrough and I'll never respect any of them, but even then it'll still be nice to play second (and son on) time without a fear of running into some gay **** just because I'm not being an absolute **** to my same-sex companions.

I think the key here is you are discussing Western Fantasy. Eastern Fantasy has its own set of tropes and expectations with many different versions and references to Journey to the West (as well as the life of Qin Shi Huang Di and Romance of the Three Kingdoms to a lesser extent). I'm sure if a genre of African Fantasy existed, it would come with its own expectations, too.
What frustrates me is the sheer cultural illiteracy of the western people producing fantasy today. Why is a woman called a "Duke," instead of a "Duchess?" Heck! Why are we using the term "Duke" in the first place, when it comes from a specific context in which the Germanic barbarians inherited Latin nomenclature after the fall of the Roman Empire? Everything is just extremely lazy. Writers and artists are simple using Medieval-Renaissance England as a kind of motif and drawing aesthetic elements from it without rhyme or reason. Funnily enough, oriental creators seem to be the best at producing western fantasy today, both in animated television and film and in video games (Dark Souls, Elden Ring).
If I had a studio, the ideal fantasy game I would want to see is a blending of Western and Eastern fantasy. The story of a Marco Polo type character arriving in a fantastical version of China and being pulled into the high adventure and court intrigue that decides the fate of the kingdom.
Medieval fantasy is a reflection of the European imagination, drawing on its folklore, its past and its very soul. Like fairy tales, it's our imaginary civilization.
That's exactly why it's being so harshly attacked, with an ideological reprogramming drive to totally uproot it, pull it out of all historical ties and homogeneity, and turn it into multiculturalism without us. Absolute dispossession, which often results in works that are smooth, soulless and tasteless, because they are devoid of all baggage and have to correspond to a globalized mase. It's the same phenomenon in architecture, where every detail and style is reduced to limit cultural roots and tastes, so as to reduce the building to its truest function.
It's a cultural war against Europen identity, a marxist war.
