Ig something in my bloated mod list is conflicting with it no matter where I place it in the order. Again, thanks, for trying.
IME character creator mods are the source of like 90% of hair-pulling issues.
My suggestion is to skip the various CC mods and sub-mods, especially if you've even looked at stuff like tattoo or hair packs. You just have to ignore "body type 1" for like a few minutes, and then you won't see it again for the rest of the game. As long as the main No Alphabets and Realms Restored mods work (and I bet they will), 99.9% of your playtime will still be AIDS-free.

Long story short, I had an issue with the VFX of a spell pack that wasn't animating (and after hours of trouble-shooting, ofc all I had to do was move them up the load order), and I did a lot of rejiggering of mods and load orders, and I still couldn't get the CC to comply. But it seems like all else works for both NA and RR, and that in itself is totally worth it, as now my brain can finally begin to heal while playing this, as I no longer have to suffer from all the painstakingly overt and blatantly repugnant "modern" indoctrination propaganda attempts. After coming back to this game from a long hiatus, I forgot how bad it really was...
Would it be possible to get a version with regular Aylin back? I do enjoy the overall goal of the mod itself but there are some characters that I would have a better tolerance of them not being an heterosexual couple than others, Aylin being the least of my worries in that aspect.

Something like this is not really a priority for me in the near future.
There is no reason for them to exist in a video game.
Victors clap when others succeed; Losers feel every spotlight as a personal bleed.

Aylin is insufferable as a female though
This. It's not just that she's a strong wah-man or how much Larian SHOVES her and Isobel's relationship in your face...it's how over the top obnoxious and try hard she is. Like the lines with her telling you she's going to bang Isobel...then telling you to go away (in YOUR camp, mind you) so she can bang Isobel, and the "flaccid" line in act 3 with the Wizard is just all too much. Even gender swapped, the character is still pretty douchy but bearable, but as a strong, independent, girl boss, butch, discount Thor, it's literally torture interacting with her.

Sir aelen won't tell you to go away. He says "you must excuse us"
I've changed a few lines to make him a bit more polite.

Ah, I haven't gotten to act 2 with the mod installed yet. This is MUCH appreciated.
Yep, Sir Aelen came across as very dramatic and over-the-top, but more in a roll-your-eyes theater kid way than a "ugh, what an *******" way. And he's half-Outsider so he's supposed to feel a little bit alien.
I feel like half the companions would have made fun of his mannerisms while the other half would have been starstruck.
Apologies if this has been brought up before, but any thoughts on making Wulbren a female? The whole Barcus <> Wulbren dynamic is not _explicitly_ homo, but is very heavily implied. Turning one of them into a female would solve it - and I think probably not Barcus, because he's the active one that's on a quest to rescue Wulbren.

Never thought about it lol. What are the offending gnomes that need to be changed? Preferably the one with the least amount of dialogue.

In the vanilla game it's not implied, they are explicitly gay.
The mod already changes their dialogue so Barcus is just looking after his best friend, which is fine and based motivation.
Barcus is still extremely wimpy and prissy so he still comes across as kind of a ******, but at least a closeted ******.
(Also in this way it makes more sense for Wulbren to treat him like ****, he may grudgingly recognise his friend's loyalty but he worries he might start playing grabass in the smithy.)
Anyway, if you wanted to turn it into a hetero relationship Barcus absolutely has the less T. OTOH the story of a simp desperately trying to save a ***** who doesn't care about him could work pretty well.

I believe that even in the base game, Barcus and Wulbren are still just said to be friends. Which in itself is rather surprising on the part of the writers, considering that the other four semi-prominent deep gnome characters from Act 1’s Underdark section are all in openly gay relationships. Said four characters are, in fact, affected by No Alphabets, but Wulbren and Barcus don’t seem to be on the list of changed NPCs at all on the mod’s front page.
I find it mildly interesting that Barcus’ story doesn’t appear to have an overt romantic angle to it, especially in an era where even the faintest cordiality or bond of brotherhood or friendship between two men often ends up being extrapolated by certain particular crowds into being a sign of homoerotic attraction; which as a concept is demonstrated later in the game with Balduran and Ansur, who are also on the list of No Alphabets changes.

Yeah that makes sense. The only issue I see with turning Wulbren into Wulbrena is why a girl would be in charge of the deep gnome Al-Qaida? But maybe she can be a princess who inherited the title from her dad who got shot by Gondian Mossad or something, I dunno.

I stand corrected. I'd seen so many jokes about the pair that I was sure there was a declaration of love or something in the original. Also virtually (literally?) all the other deep gnomes are gay in vanilla, you'd think they reproduce by mitosis.
