Junior Adventurer's Guild - October: UnderRail
I'm of the opinion that anyone torn between voting for Underrail and Two World 2 (sic) should vote for Two World 2 (sic).
You vote libertarian don't you?WhiteShark wrote: ↑ September 30th, 2025, 01:17I'm of the opinion that anyone torn between voting for Underrail and Two World 2 (sic) should vote for Two World 2 (sic).
If you own it on Steam, you should have been given the remaster for free?WhiteShark wrote: ↑ September 30th, 2025, 00:39It seems there's an upgraded version of the game that's going to win that upgrades the graphics options: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... 2618407298
I already own the original, though, so I probably won't bother with that.
Both UnderRail and Darksiders are on sale for a decent price on GOG:
UnderRail (-70%)
Darksiders Warmastered Edition (-80%)
I was planning on firewalling Darksiders anyway, but does the Warmastered Edition install an additional unwanted program as well?
Edit:
I've been searching around for more information, but so far that one review is the only mention of any telemetry I can find for Darksiders.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

The three evils that humanity faces:
Censorship
Telemetry
DRM
Huh, I guess so. I was thrown off because it showed a price when I visited the store page, but it's also there in my library. Next time I'll nominate Disco Elysium, because someone said that's an RPG too.

Underrail is full of spoop.
I'm nominating Black Ops 2 for November, since it's RPG enough.
I bet if I had nominated Undertale you ****** would have been all over that ****.
We should have an Indian Pride Month or something where all the games nominated are objectively ****.Tweed wrote: ↑ September 30th, 2025, 02:38I bet if I had nominated Undertale you ****** would have been all over that ****.
I also agree that UnderRail is full of poops.
The selection of Raven's Cry shows appetite for something like this. India's Independence Day is August 15th. Even better if we can find some games made in India.Tinky Winky wrote: ↑ September 30th, 2025, 02:45We should have an Indian Pride Month or something where all the games nominated are objectively ****.Tweed wrote: ↑ September 30th, 2025, 02:38I bet if I had nominated Undertale you ****** would have been all over that ****.
River City Ransom is a better RPGCornCake wrote: ↑ September 30th, 2025, 02:08I'm nominating Black Ops 2 for November, since it's RPG enough.
This is one of the main reason I voted for darksiders, I wanna try beating an AG jr game once while its the active gameJ1M wrote: ↑ September 29th, 2025, 21:18@logincrash calling in reinforcements like a true bro. This is the kind of drama Adventurer's Guild needs every month.
Are you a mythical undecided voter in the twilight hours of the most important poll of October 2025? The choice is simple! Should we play the game that will take 58-107 hours to complete or the game that will take 17 - 21 hours?
To be faaaaaaaair, it's way more of an RPG than Darksiders is.Tweed wrote: ↑ September 30th, 2025, 01:57Next time I'll nominate Disco Elysium, because someone said that's an RPG too.
Like, if you wanted to choose the Darksiders installment that's most like an RPG, Darksiders 2 would be the better choice. (That game is a little sloppy though.)
I have both Darksiders and Underrail and have yet to play either, both were on my ‘back burner’. I voted for Underrail though because it’s more of an RPG than Darksiders is.

Skyrim Belongs to the Nords.
Geek the Mage first.
There is no virtue in extending mercy to those who want you dead.
Justice will prevail, you say? But of course it will! Whoever wins this war becomes justice!

It would be so funny if this month ends in a tie again, and J1M created the problem he intended to destroy.
I thought his vote counted for 2 in the case of a tie?Acrux wrote: ↑ September 30th, 2025, 17:32It would be so funny if this month ends in a tie again, and J1M created the problem he intended to destroy.
Somebody's always got an angle to rig the system.
Christ with all the simping for him and the extra vote he gets, may as well rename JAG to the Jim Adventures Guild
