He doesn't mention it, but Petra was based off of a girl who won the fan contest to be put in the game
https://wiki.ultimacodex.com/wiki/Petra
Petra's portrait is based on Yosannah Dragon, who was one of the winners of the Ultima VI Immortality Contest.
Only reason I know this is because I remember her newsgroup post about it

I liked what I played of it. Definitely remember thinking it was weird that I've never heard of it considering the quality. The item invention board thing made my brain feel good, it's kind of like unlocking recipes in a survivy crafty by figuring out what goes where iirc.

It seemed like a lot of fun when it got released for later generation Playstations. Unfortunately by that time the only console RPGs I was interested in buying had to be couch coop. This game seemed to be absolutely begging for that but it's not.

C'est la vie.

It looks so janky visually as well, like some kind of performance issues. Is this a UE5 game??

It's not even Silent Hill. Some team of random indians made a **** horror game in UE5. None of it is good.

I never got to play this, but my friend had it. It was so weird seeing a blatant clone of Final Fantasy X using Lord of the Rings, he said it was quite good at the time. I should play it someday.

I remember this having an on-screen countdown for when the next "random" encounter would occur which stressed me the **** out.

One day those Urzykstanian midget-terrorists will answer for their crimes.

Fun fact, the model of that character has tatoo on his shoulder, just one word, it translates simply as "death". That's it, nothing else, but it fits the caricature incredibly well. The game doesn't focus players' attention on it and unless you know the language you wouldn't be able to know that even if you spot it, so i find it to be a very interesting artistic touch by model/texture artist.

There's plenty to complain about, but he's too low iq to hone in on the main points. Would have to understand what made the originals good as well.

He pigeonholed himself into the niche of being an angry dude who complains about lgbt and feminist agenda in videogames. So even if he did analyze the game properly, no one would've cared, because it's not the reason people come to his channel and listen to his thoughts.

Yep. It's actually kind of fitting really. He positioned himself to be the most based gaming youtuber ever by parroting /v/ talking points and is now angry that his fans only tune in to see him embarrass himself or talk about the ****. Now he just spends his days streaming and hating the very audience he cultivated. Also as Element pointed out he isn't very smart despite thinking otherwise. He's incapable of analyzing video games like American Krogan and providing insightful commentary. He's also too lazy to put in effort yet acts surprised that his channel is basically on life support with no new subs coming in. No wonder he's now going full lolcow just to get attention.

Have you watched his review of the last silent hill remake which he also played? He knows these games pretty well. The woke parts are relativ short these days and he complains more about the bad gameplay.

Eh, I think he likes his chat. He seems lonely like many of us are today but you can tell he enjoys interaction with his fans. He seems comfortable in the space he's sitting. His channel would probably be taken down if he got real popular.

Every video he makes can be boiled down to "OH MY GAAAWD DOOD THIS GAME SUCKS DOOD!". It's the ultimate fate of every channel dedicated solely to complaining about things and never offering anything constructive or alternative. It's just neverending ragebait for views, and it's why this guy will be gone the MINUTE the cash stops rolling in.
