Played it a bit today. It's good. FTL but edgier. Got pretty far with my boarding crew and then died to a demon ship that can't be boarded, horay! Might be worth a thread, but sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who plays le ebin indie roguelite. This and The King is Watching are both excellent games.

I picked it up at launch, but really only put a few runs into it. It plays similarly to FTL (obviously), but I enjoyed what I've had time to play.

I will say, all my runs ended in the same way that most of my FTL runs ended. RNG gives me X, and nothing but X, so I build for X... And despite X decimating everything, I run into a hard counter and get 100 to 0 destroyed. I need to get better. Ha.

GOG is currently selling Thief: The Dark Project, Thief 2: The Metal Age and Thief 3: Deadly Shadows for about a dollar each.

They've also got a bundle on sale for the entire series, but the later entries were a bit disappointing so it may not be the better buy. Thief (2014) isn't really worth the extra cash and I don't remember Thief 3: Deadly Shadows being nearly as good as the first two.

The gameplay is a series of objective based stealth missions where you slink around the area avoiding guards and snapping up anything of value. Graphics for the first two games are similar to what can be found in System Shock 2, but if the look is a bit too dated for your taste, there are a few mods that are available to change that:

Not good though.

Big fan of puzzle quest but this versions has:
Less classes
Less character portraits
No multiplayer
Looks like the game was run through an AI filter of sorts
Don't buy this, buy the original for the same price or get Puzzle Quest: The Legend Returns.
This game feels like a cheap cash in.
