Finished the main story of metal gear rising revengeance its pretty dang short, but really fun. I played on the normal difficulty yet but they game was pretty easy overall.

The peak of the game for me was MC becoming jack the reaper, i wasn't expecting him to actually accept that. The fights were pretty cool, though I generally dislike QTE sections.

My scores were pretty mediocre though, guess i could replay the game for better ones sometime later. I also didn't use items until halfway through (so no healing through med kits) and just hoarded all the sub-weapons as well.

There are dlc and vr missions still left, I will check them out next.

To me it's not the only good one, but the best one, it's the natural product of not having Kojima as the director, but instead, people interested in making an actual game
MGR was a standalone spin-off right? The main metal gear series are more of stealth genre, which I do like (dishonored 1 is among my favorite games). Why do you dislike the other metal gear games (if they are **** i would rather not try them at all)
I don't think they are **** at all, I just don't like the way Kojima tries to make a long movie, I can only think about Deus Ex and Metal Gear Solid when talking about games that spoke about government using AI to control every aspect of our lives, but Kojima just couldn't execute the idea very well and thought he should put long cutscenes overexplaining everything, with MGS4 being the worst case, one cutscene holding the world record with 71 minutes, at the cost of butchering all the maps. But go play it, I think my second favorite after Revengeance is MGS2, where Raiden is also the protagonist, and just like Dishonored you can play it in a lot of ways.

Nintendo of America has had a long-line of "diverse" CEOs. Reggie was black, Bowser was jewish, and now the new one is a woman.

Oh my, I think BioWare might be in trouble.

I want to be in the room when the EA devs present their newest game, featuring an ugly ****** lesbian, to the Saudis.

I wonder if these financier investors will be able to turn a profit on Ultimate Team™ international digital gambling... :scratch-pipe:

Sportniggers exist to be exploited and brutalized via the harshest monetization the dune ***** can come up with.

That being said, what is there left to salvage at EA? All their big name studios are either spent or gone, Sims 4 is a complete mess and every attempt to make a sequel has ended in failure because the devs lack the ability to make a new one, most of their IPs have been ruined, or have been dormant for so long that they might as well be irrelevant.

They're going to have a hard time doing anything with a workforce as inundated with incompetent dangerhairs and ******. I assume mass layoffs are on the horizon as the new owners start trimming the fat.

So who runs the show now? Is it really evenly split between 3 international organizations? Sounds like a recipe for disaster

Logged into FFXIV and found a player using a plugin (I'm guessing) to play and synchronise non-FFXIV music across 7 alts to form a band. Was really cool and a crowd of us gathered around to watch.

I recorded it and was going to upload a clip to YouTube but I heard players can get banned for playing non-FFXIV music as a bard. I don't want to get the user banned, so I've hid the UI so no nameplates or server information shows, but am worried Square Enix might see the video and investigate?

Mainly worried they'll find the user by crossing referencing other players reports with his cosmetics and emoji patterns seen in the video?

Is it likely it will get him in trouble or do you think they'll not really bother?

AFAIK Square scans youtube to find videos of FF14 music that don't show FF14 gameplay, and then copyright strike the uploader. I don't think they bother with bard performances. They just have that verbage to try to legally cover themselves.

If you are afraid of a Square bot scanning youtube and finding it, you could just upload the video to the vault here and link it with webm brackets around it.

If the Saudi Arabi Public Investment Firm was the one holding the reins, then there would be hope. But alas it appears to be co owned with two other American investment firms.

Weird how not a single journo or developer will stop to ask why the quality of games tanked once "gay stuff" was in!

Wait this game studio made Battle Brothers? Further proof these subhuman developers create one game to break into the industry and then fully adopt their true ideology thereafter.

"Scolding-***** Bigdick"

I believe "Jane Darby" was not intended to be a sheboon...
Anyone want to guess if the writer envisioned a ginger girl? :pipe-thinking:

I played a bit of the demo, and she's not the only offensive character. There's two other female characters - an ugly, scarred **** with PTSD, and a nepobaby White karen.

The game itself is very meh too. The interface is genuinely awful, too cluttered, yet with not enough information, and so tiny it's difficult to see anything, and the pace feels sluggish, largely because of how punishing the AP costs for everything are.

All your units have 100 AP points - you need at least 50% to move a few squares, 40 points to shoot your weapon. If you want to use your specialist weapon (RPG, machinegun, grenade launcher etc.) you first need to spend 20 APs to make your squad kneel, and then an additional 40 to have them fire at the enemy. Then, if you want to move that squad, you need to spend 20 AP points to make them stand up, once again 50% or more to get them anywhere, and then you have basically no AP left to attack.

The first mission I played largely devolved into a boring slugging match (against the most basic of infantry) because I had no effective weapons against more heavily armored infantry (not even the missile launcher and heavy machinegun on the APC did much). Suppressing and maneuvering was ineffective because I was basically playing a game of whack-a-mole - I suppress one enemy squad, the suppression on another one wears off, making me unable to move a squad of mine to flank the enemy because they'd just get shot up.

I fire an RPG at the enemy squad, it does little, frag grenades mostly do suppression "damage", the HMG on the APC is too inaccurate to do anything but suppression damage, so you're left with your squad's rifles which do minimal armor penetration against enemies with more armor.

I didn't lose a single trooper, mind you, but there was genuinely not much strategy involved, nor could there be with the clunky tools at your disposal.

Dunno, I hope they can unfuck the game during the EA, and that it's easy to change assets so the dogshit squad leaders can be changed to something more sensible, but it just feels like the magic is not there.

So, BioWare is trying to speedrun their own shutdown. In other news, AssCreed: Shadows did so well that the next game is being made by the Tencent company. I am morbidly curious to see how it turns out.
