How many games do you play in a month?
How many games do you play in a month?

The three evils that humanity faces:
Censorship
Telemetry
DRM
Sometimes I hyperfixate on games like WoW or Rimworld and don't touch anything else for months at a time

I frequently start & drop games within 15 minutes of playing if I'm not feeling it

I boot up many games per month but only seriously play about 2 at a time.
- Honkai Star Rail: I have been playing this every day for a few months now. It helps that the game has full autobattle so I can alt+tab out while the dailies solve themselves, and then maybe I work on progressing the story or doing one of the event storylines. Currently this is the only game where I am actively playing content in it rather than only logging in to check something out or to claim something.
- Granblue Fantasy: I play this whenever a new story event comes out that I am interested in. Otherwise, I open this for 30 seconds per day every day whenever there is a free daily draw event going on. When there is no story event or new free draw event, I don't open this.
- Genshin Impact: I have been playing it on and off.
- Zenless Zone Zero: I boot this up whenever a new character comes out that I am interested in trying out, but haven't been seriously progressing the story.
- Wuthering Waves: same as ZZZ.
- Warframe: Reinstalled it this month to get caught up on the main story that has been added since I last played. Don't think I will have it installed for much longer.
- Final Fantasy XIV: I login whenever I get an email saying that my house is going to be demolished if I don't enter it before the deadline, so I am logging in about once per month. At this point the game is pretty sad. 5 months between patches and the patches only have about 3 or 4 hours of content.
There was no 0-1 option, and the only game I've been playing occasionally is Minecraft, which I've been informed is not a game but a simulation. So I picked 0.
Vermintide 2 is what I've been playing all the time this year. Sometimes I'll play elder scrolls online for an hour or so.

My "how many" number really means nothing to me when compared to "how long". It's similar to what Rusty said, I'll (re)install games based on seeing a positive post or video about it, play for a few minutes, and then uninstall once I've gotten my fix or "can see how the rest of my time with the game is going to go".
My play time is so limited, this time of the year, that I end up mostly latching onto roguelikes and shallow games rather than heavy story or heavy system-focused games.

I tend to pick a game and stick to it until I've beaten it. Been clearing out my crpg backlog in recent times so I just boot one up finish up the first act and drop it or stick to it. Did this with Tyranny and did the same with OS1. Biting into BG3 now. That's going to take some time to finish. Trying to avoid getting swallowed by the screen nowadays.
Occasionally I fall into the trap of playing dota2 , but that usually doesn't happen if I keep myself sober enough. I enjoy beating hard (and maybe even convoluted games), but it recently dawned on me that no game is hard enough because at its core a game is designed to be beaten. It's fun figuring things out tho.
